They were really great. Everything was excellent. They responded within two hours and on a holiday. It was all good.

The technicians, Robert and John, arrived within an hour of my call! They diagnosed the problem and had the part to install. They were pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient. They accepted the $20 coupon which brought our bill down to $117.00. My husband asked them about another plumbing question and they quickly discovered the cause of that issue. We will be calling them back soon to have that fixed as the part has to be special ordered. We may compare prices on the particular item needed, based on reviews of high prices on parts. But we will definitely have these professionals install it either way.

Two part review - Part 1 assessment and prep work... Because it was under my home, dispatcher informed me there would be a two plumber fee of $138 to say hello and the first 45 mins and $28 every 1/4 hour after that... that's $166 for the first hour and $112 an hour after that. Tech 2 smoked a cigarette and that is about all he did. Tech 1 said he could not work on it because of the water, I shut off the water to the house and he told me to call him when the area was dry and they would come "right out". They did not have a mud-pump or any other method to drain the area. Just told me to wait until it is dry with no water. I sent to Lowes and bought a cheap mudpuppy and drained the area, called them this morning and was told they cant come over for another day... This will be day 4 without water... I will provide another review when they come back... Thus far I am disappointed that they did not have the equipment to drain the area, when I accurately described the situation to the dispatcher. The good news is they did not charge me for coming out and doing nothing. I gave them an 'C' on responsiveness because they showed up the same day. N/A on Promptness because when I called back to the dispatcher to find out where they were, they said they do not give time estimates on the weekend. I gave them a 'C' on pricing because they were indeed fair. Future work pricing @ $156 first hour and $112 each additional seemed fair, not very good nor exceptional... /shrug There is nothing wrong with fair.

They always provide great plumbing and knowledge. Would recommend to anyone.

John and Robert the plumbersame came out were Very Professional and they were personal to me interaction and knowledgeable in there skill set. I felt very comfortable I had a couple errands to run while they were doing their job and I felt very comfortable leaving them here to do the work fully trust. Also Mr. Mark Evans was very punctual I appreciate him stopping by in the midst of doing the job and he was very knowledgeable. I had a total of 6 plumbers to come out before I decide to go with David Gray services and I will use them for all my plumbing needs. Darrin Bauford

Came on holiday. Very professional. Excellent work. I have used them many times in the past 25 years.

I called David Gray on Saturday when another plumber failed to show up or call Friday evening, leaving my tenants with no working toilet for the weekend. Due to a mixup, the plumber called back a few hours later from in front of the house (I'd expected a callback to arrange an appointment for Sunday.) The tenants weren't home Saturday so we arranged he'd return 9 AM Sunday morning. He called me Sunday before arrival and fixed the issue promptly and efficiently, and cleaned up the mess. Now my tenants have something to go on!

Summary: Scheduling and Professionalism was higher than my expectations, very impressed. I would use them again just for this part of the service. Pricing and Quality of parts RIDICULOUS!!!! Here's the Story: I called the company this morning, they picked up right away and were very professional and told me a technician will be out this afternoon and they will call me when he is on the way. They called at 1:08 ET to let me know he is on the way, and sure enough, he arrived at 1:35 ET. Great so far. Very impressed. He took about 5 minutes to locate the part on the truck, then finished installation by 1:50 ET. Here's what happened in the 15 minutes: The part he wanted to use had a sticker on it "Not approved for potable water after 1/1/2014". I use this faucet to wash my dishes next to the grill. I asked him for a part that is approved for potable water. He took a couple of minutes to look on the truck, gave me the same exact part with out the sticker and said I'm sure this one is approved for potable water usage they all look the same it just one is lead-free and the first one with the sticker wasn't. I think all he did is remove the sticker from the part. I didn't make a big deal out of it and said that's fine, you can install it, I just wanted this done and run up the bill for a second trip. Finished at 1:50 ET, that's less than 15 minutes start to finish. It took about 10 to 12 minutes to prepare the bill. I presented a $20 Angie's List coupon and with the coupon, the total is $93.00. They charged $15.00 for the hose bibb which isn't even approved by code for potable water. The same hose bibb approved by code at Lowe's or Home Depot is $3.00 to $4.00 They charged 4+ times the retail price for the part! 4 times people!!! I couldn't believe it. I understand the minimum charge $98.00 for the first 45 minutes and I'm not opposed to it, I knew that going in, but I expected the $20 coupon to lower this cost, they simply offset it by charging 4 times the norm on the part. If you ever want to use this vendor, you better buy your parts first and let them do the labor. Great vendor, if money is no object. Excellent service time, ridiculously high prices!

The crew arrived on schedule, was courteous, cooperative and professional throughout the job and cleaned up the work area before departing. The finished installation has a clean, professional look about it. I would not hesitate to call David Gray Plumbing in the future for my plumbing needs

The plumber arrived even sooner than expected which was great. He did a very quick and professional job and kept every thing clean afterwards. I thought the price was very reasonable and would call them again. Great job.

Kevin did an excellent job installing my new faucet and garbage disposal. He was thorough and professional and even took the time to reorganize the area under my sink, including a water filtration system, in order to fit the new larger disposal I purchased. The work area was pretty tight, and he didn't have a lot of room to work with, but was still able to get everything installed and working properly. I am very pleased with the outcome!

They were good to work with and they worked hard. They did neat work.

Called DG's 24 hour emergency line Sunday around 8 a.m. and asked for someone call me back to discuss my issue/prices. I received a call back from Frank within 45 minutes. Frank said unclogging a sewer line in a residence normally takes about one hour, assuming no unexpected issues. He told me he could be at my house in 45 minutes and explained I'd be paying the emergency call rate of $150 per hour. I accepted and Frank arrived house right on time. He was professional and cleared the blocked drain in just under 1 hour (no unexpected issues, thankfully). Originally, I thought this problem was going to be a huge headache but it was all taken care of by 10:30 a.m. Great job Frank!!

I called David Gray Plumbing around 12:30 in the afternoon expecting to be told they would come out the next day. I was told they would be out before 5:00 pm same day. Jamie and J.P. actually showed up within 2 hours of my call. After determining the bathtub drain was the only problem they immediately went to work on the drain using their powered snake. Jaimie had the drain clear after a short while, but wasn't satisfied with the flow. He started again with the snake and eventually snagged an old small brush that had been stuck in the pipe. He could have stopped when the drain first began to flow, but that extra effort solved the problem completely.

It went great. All employees were very courteous and professional. From office staff Kellie and estimator Mark Evans to installers Zack Tillman and Mike Holland. It was a very good experience from beginning of job to completion. Did an excellent job. Will be more than happy to hire this company again.

They always do a great job. They're very reliable and professional. We've used them for 24 years, and on occasion, have tried other companies. We've never been as satisfied as we are with David Gray.

Butter was excellent. He was very patient and made sure it was thorough. I appreciate the expediency of service and the extreme professionalism I always receive when dealing with David Gray. I will always use them for any future plumbing needs and would high recommend them to anyone who needs a plumber.

I contacted David Gray Plumbing through the Angie's List website and they quickly responded. The work was scheduled in a timely manner and the plumber arrived on time. The plumber worked quickly and did an outstanding job. I will definitely use David Gray Plumbing again!!

They completed the repair as promised, but their customer service department is lacking. "Cindy" in billing attempted to not honor the $20 Angie's List coupon, and insisted on lecturing me on the phone about how I should have faxed or e-mailed the coupon in (as I was out of town at the time of repair). Some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced over the phone, and very unprofessional billing. I own multiple rental properties in town, and I won't be using David Gray Plumbing again after the experience I had.

I use David Gray Plumbing all the time. They are professional. They could improve just their interaction when you are asking them questions to get an 'A' from me. When I ask questions, they are like impatient or like I was getting in their way or something. They came and did the job and they cleaned up after themselves. I didn't have to move anything. They had to get out the sink and they moved all that stuff.

It went very well. Very prompt and fast. Came in greeted me, and went right to work. Told me of other services they provide and thanked me for calling them.

After few months, it did not hold the water pressure

First met Butter at the door. He was extremely courteous. Thought we just had a clogged drain in kitchen sink. Then I noticed the floor was wet under the baseboard and my rug in next room to kitchen was a little wet too. Butter immediately knew it was more serious and called for more help. They were there in about 10 minutes it seemed. Chris jr. and Timmy to the rescue. They figured out where the leak was and had to cut into the wall. I went what??? but that was only way to get at the pipe. They did a very neat job and solved the problem. My husband fixed the drywall today. We waited till it was really dry to do it. Will paint over and be good as new. And of course Butter cleared the clog! I would highly recommend this company and I have used them before. I know they have a gazillion great reviews but wanted to add mine anyway. They are super!!!I also had a $30.00 Angie coupon that I used. Yay!

David Gray sent out a crew of three men to re-pipe the house on a Monday. They were finished by Thursday. They laid pipe in the attic and cut holes in the dry wall in the utility room next to the washer, next to the refrigerator in the kitchen and in each bathroom. On Friday, someone came out to fix the drywall - that took less than an hour. That same week, Troy came out to look at the remodeling job for the hall bathroom. I had bought most of the fixtures myself, so he went through those to see if he could put them in. He came out next Monday and got started on the bathroom. He knocked out two walls in the bathroom and put in a new tub, new tile around the tub. He took out the old tile and put in new bathroom tile. He took out our old sink and put in a new sink and light fixture, towel bar and toilet paper roll. The toilet was the only fixture that wasn't replaced. Several days after the job was completed, Troy even came out to replace a tile that my husband broke with a hammer he dropped while putting in the towel bar. no charge.
