They showed up on time and performed the insulation process exactly as they had initially described. Their charges were the same as estimated and they were very professional in the manner they conducted themselves. They even suggested some items to look out for in the future relative to my ac system. I would definitely use them in the future.

They are professional. They are neat and clean. All I would like to give them is an "A+" rating. They are responsive. They are punctual.

I asked the company to have a technician come out to give me an estimate of removal and replacement of the home's insulation. The tech arrived at the scheduled time and said he would send me a written estimate on Monday of the next week. Wednesday of that next week I called to see about the written estimate which I had not yet received. The company's number goes to a dispatcher at an office and she told me she did not have email capability from the office and that the technician may be able to send me something from his home computer. I asked her to have the technician call. He called me and quoted me over the phone a price 300% higher than the 3 other estimates I had gotten from other companies listed here on Angie's List. When I mentioned to him that I had asked 3 other companies to come out and send me an estimate and they all had done so and quoted me prices all similar and about 30% of what he told me over the phone, he said then have them do the work. I told the technician when he came out that I needed a written estimate with costs of each component of the work listed, not a ball park estimate. He did not deliver on this point and I will take his advice and use another company to do the work at my home.

They cleaned the outside of the system and checked all the parts to make sure that they are in good working order. The service tech that they send out did not do what he said he was going to do. But when I contacted the owner of the company, he handled the situation pretty nicely. So the service tech was not great but the owner of the company was pretty good.

The estimate: Chris came out to evaluate our attic. I did not know that JEA had an incentive program for attic insulation, and Chris was kind enough to point this out to me. Long story short - we would be saving some money - who doesn't want to do that? I was given a written estimate, and brochures about the type of blown-in insulation as well as a JEA pamphlet. We ordered the work from Cool Connections, as the other company we called gave us an estimate over the telephone- without coming to the house how did they know how much we needed, or how easy/difficult a job it would be? Insulation day: The crew from Cool Connections arrived ON TIME with smiles on their faces! The work was completed as discussed, no hidden fees. They also cleaned up the area when they were done. When they had to come inside the house, they took off their boots so as not to soil my carpeting, which is appreciated. Chris even took the time to mark in the attic where one of the pot lights was located right near the walking area in case we needed to re-adjust in the future.

Chris and his tech arrived on time, installed the safety switch on my inside air handler, and explained how it functions. Now I am up to the new building codes and don't have to worry that my a/c unit will overflow into the house.

It seemed like it was good quality but I am not sure about the duct work; whether I really needed that or not. I don't notice a big difference in the two rooms that needed more heat or air. I expected to see some break in my air conditioning bill but it just did not happen.

We found them word-of-mouth. They were friendly and they cleaned up their mess when they left. They did extra work for me and didn't charge me.

They added insulation to our old house, that desperately needed it. I placed the order on a Thursday and had the job done on Tuesday morning. The whole job took about 2.5 hours, from set up to clean up. They were very professional and punctual. I would definitely recommend them again.

Unbelievable! I asked for a quote on insulation upgrade, Chris arrived that day, gave me a good quote, but said the insulation would not improve the comfort in the 3 bedrooms. He explained their were insufficient ventilation returns. He recommended adding 3, at $350 each. Two days later Carl showed up, spent all day putting in the 3 returns. Very precise positioning, careful not to make a mess, explained exactly each step, the sealing, etc. Saw immediate improvement - within the hour of completion! Chris also came the next day, did the insulation, sealed all the existing ducts, fixed some on the minor issues, all for the original insulation quote (~$500) . I will submit that report under insulation. I signed up for their repair service on the AC unit, Chris seems very knowledgable, reasonable, not trying to sell something we don't need. Highly recommended for any AC work. I will use him when I need a replacement unit.

Chris arrived the day I called for estimate. Gave me a competitive estimate (I had 2 others), also seemed the most knowledgable, and he was the manager. He suggested I add insulation over the garage for comfort as well as cost savings. Total after JEA rebate was $752. He and a worked showed up as scheduled 2 days later, they did a super job, sealed all my existing ducts, fixed a crushed bathroom exhaust vent, all included in original estimate. Fixed several insulation problems, filled blown in insulation in excess of minimum R-38 estimate. I couldn't be happier. I had a energy audit, with re-audit after the work, the inspector was also impressed with the work and the price. This will be my go to company for any insulation, ductwork, or HVAC problems!
