Don’t think about it, call them if you need service! First time customer today. Mr. Dan Cox is the bomb. He showed up sooner than expected and within minutes had figured out the issue and fixed the problem! He’s the best. Great service knowledgeable, professional and friendly! I recommend 💯!

It was great. They were professional and stayed super late to ensure that we had air even though Lowe’s had told us it would be a two day job. They came back and took the old AC out of the attic as promised. I would recommend them 10 times over

Horribly. The tech showed up, said he could NOT snake it (which is all I asked for) and then charged $79 service call.

Never responded to request for estimate

When I spoke to the rep on the phone, they read the 23 point checklist and said if there were other problems that needed to be addressed they would inform us at that time. Several days later the technician came as agreed upon. We just purchased this property and we wanted the HVAC to be checked. In between the time the appointment was made and the technician came my husband noticed water on the garage floor around the unit. My husband mentioned it to the tech and he looked at us like we were from another planet. He then recited the 23 points that he would cover and that this was a maintenance problem. He spent about 2 mins looking at the unit and told us he was cancelling the appointment. He said we should ask for a refund. We did so and the office told us to get the refund through Angie's List. I would not use this company again because it did not make any sense to me why they could not perform their 23 point inspection and then tell me what needed to be fixed.

The technician arrive as scheduled, he was very professional and explained what he was doing and discussed his findings. I would highly recommend Cool Connections and will contact them if I have any issues in the future.

He cleaned the unit outside and inside, but will have to come back for the A/C when it is in use to check thermostat and functioning.

I would not call them back. He was checking out the air and furnace and he said it needed Freon. I won't say it didn't need any, but what he charged me for, I don't think he put that much in it. He lied and I feel like I was cheated out of money. After he did that, I had to get someone else over here to look at it and to check the Freon in there and stuff and it didn't last anytime. For him, to have put 30 lbs. in there, what he was telling me he was putting, it should have lasted. I did not have the $300 and something else. He didn't tell me what the price was going to be before he added it. So they did let me pay so much and then pay the rest later. They came out when I called them. He should have discussed the price and all that with me before he put it in there.

Great! The tech called when he was on the way. Gave me some tips to maintain the system.

He was very knowledgeble and understanding. Explained things as he was doing them so knew what was wrong. Although, as i feared, nothing could be done but replace my a/c, he confirmed it for me. Now i know what needs to be done without question.

Job was done in a very professional fashion. On time, on estimate. Clean up was quick. Additional small items were repaired or adjusted to our cooling system.

I love Cool Connections. He's honest and polite. The people who work for him love him. They do a wonderful job. Out of all the services I've used, they've been the one I've been most impressed with. They're coming to do some more work for us in the future.

The purpose of the technician's visit was for an A/C tune up, cleaning & inspection. The technician did arrive promptly, but his attitude was really bad. The technician was reluctant to inspect the unit's air handler being that it was located in the attic and the weather wasn't exactly cool, meaning the temperature would be hot or uncomfortable in the attic. He communicated very little, as he walked outside to inspect the unit. I observed without an invitation, noting how he did things. He did not lubricate any moving parts as the web site advertised, nor did he explained the reason for not doing so. Furthermore, he appeared frustrated when I questioned him about various things pertaining to my A/C unit. One response was I needed to purchase another unit, stating the Lennox unit was too old. Poor professionalism to say the least. I will not use this company again. Finally, when he handed over the job description, I was unable to understand anything except my name and address do to his atrocious handwriting.

I had them clean the unit and had them add biocide for an additional cost. I thought the pricing was a little high.

Went well. The company contacted me for a convenient time and date and at that time the A/C repairman arrived and preformed the necessary inspection, he was a very experienced repairman and very professional and friendly.

Picked Cool Connections based on expected results in problem areas in house. They were substantially above other quotes, but wanted the job done right and they seemed to be confident they could get results in problem areas in house. Confirmed expectations in email to Cool Connections before work was done. Work was done promptly, but no results in problem areas. Called to discuss and they immediately called me back promising to set a time to look at problem in next few days. Two weeks later, no call back. Called them again and they immediately called me back promising again to look at problem. Again two weeks later, no call back. Finally, called and asked to talk to someone else. Immediately got call back and I agreed to send email that was sent by Cool Connections confirming expectations and work to be done. I even suggested a possible resolution. No response after two weeks. Emailed again and still no response. It has been almost three months and Cool Connections continue to avoid a bad situation. My experience is that Cool Connections overpromises, charges too much and then ignores problems that customers have. You never know when you may have a problem with work done, but in those rare instance that you encounter complications, you want a company that stands behind their promises and my experience is that Cool Connections does not.

How did it go? My A/C quit working, did troubleshooting with a friend who is HVAC in Kentucky and figured out the problem. David came out and diagnosed the problem, same conclusion as we determined. to repair would have been $500 but the age of my unit decided to replace. I will say my experience with David was the ONLY positive with this company. So Josh and Tyler came to install the unit, my wife was home, when I came home from work the unit was nearly installed. The inside unit was installed nicely, but the outside unit another story. I noticed instead of removing the old slab from the old unit outside that placed the prefab slab over the old slab the back corner was about a 1-2 inch gap. Upon inspection a rock.. yes A ROCK was used to level it. I talked to Josh, you could see his frustration, he talked to Tyler and they tried to level it. Told them I wanted the old slab gone as apparently it was not level. They said they would send a supervisor out to fix it. Well the supervisor (Chris) showed up while I was gone and there was a stack of about 10 shims and the unit wobbled profusely and you could slide it around on the old slab. Eventually David was sent out, re arranged the shims and added MORE for a total of 16 shims (yes seriously). I informed him I was not satisfied, I wanted the old slab removed, as it should be (I called other HVAC Co's in Jax and they verified their policy is to remove the old slab), David said he'd talk to Chris... no call back! A few days later, the woman from their company called to verify they had replaced a circuit breaker, I told her yes, there is a new breaker in my box and the old one was buy the box on a table, so they did replace a breaker. A few days later the Building Inspector showed up, my A/C failed to pass inspection due to , no biggie, it happens. But that afternoon, I got a message from the lady ant the company, and essentially made it sound like I told her I was wrong, read the inspection report, and informed here they did replace a breaker, but not another they should have. Anyways, CoolCon arranged an electrician to come out, I took off work early and waited, electrician never showed up, called and said he was at my Front Door, but he wasn't he was at the wrong house on the other side of Jacksonville. So repeat again, next day he showed up replaced breaker. Fast forward to today (4/27) I went to go replace my air filter, the door to slide out filter does not open all the way and it tears when you remove & replace the filters. Also today was SUPPOSED to be my re inspection. But by 3:30PM no one had showed up, called the County Building Department, turns out CoolCon did schedule the re inspection, but failed to pay the fee, so another wasted day. Seriously? HVAC installation has been around for decades, how is this process being so messed up, and how come no customer service to fix my outside unit slab? At this point I feel my options are to plead (which a customer should NEVER have to do) for CoolCon to fix the issues. Or worse, file a complaint with the county Licensing agency for HVAC, file a complaint with Trane, and take legal action to get my A/C installed correctly! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND SHOTTY CRAFTSMANSHIP!

They were timely, professional, responsible and their prices were good.

The crew was courteous and fast. I'm happy with work and glad that I called these folks.

Went well. My only disappointment was that the work was performed on a rental house that I own and besides the tenant telling me that the work was done, I never received an invoice or a phone call to tell me that the system was okay. I had to make contact with the company to receive the invoice and get the details on whether or nor the A/C system was functioning correctly. I would have appreciated a little better communication with the work being done.

They were out within 3-4 days of me purchasing the deal. They were down to earth and there were no tricky sales pitches. I was satisfied.

I would recommend, but it was advertised to include "cleaning", but this is extra cost. The $49 (very reasonable) was for inspection only.

The technician arrived in a timely manner. He called ahead as requested. It took about an hour to go through both inside and out. He gave recommendations and appeared to be extremely honest to the condition of my units and the waste of money that it would be to try to salvage. There was no pressure to have them perform the service. I later had another company replace both inside and outside units with some used equipment that I purchased.
