Technician was reliable by keeping in touch to confirm his status and time of arrival. Had to drive longer distance than he was aware of but arrived promptly when promised. I felt confident in Keith's knowledge, work, and honesty. Would definately use this company again. They were courteous and dependable.

It was ok. He only did the inspection. I didn't like that he didn't do the tuneup. I felt like he wanted to push a new unit.

Confirmed appointment the day before. Called the morning of appointment to say they were on their way and would arrive within 10 minutes. Arrived on time, performed serviced, explained what was done, what issues were found, what issues might be coming up within the next. Also gave tips the maintain the system at peak performance.

Price is right but you don't get what you wanted absolutely no cleaning or lubricating of anything made a quick visual inspection and used my bleach and water which he had me bring him to keep the line clear checked the smaller unit, identified problem which I did not let him fix...his estimate to repair five time too high told many stories

They check the equipment and make sure they're organized. So far, it hasn't broke down.

Bob Wetzel showed up on time and did more talking about how I needed a new condenser and because it was so bad he refused to do maintenance on it. He did blow out the drain line. Bob recommended a new system for $7,200 or $4,200 for just the condenser/heat pump. The prices were so overboard Bob offered a Payne condenser that was in stock for just $3000. He wanted to get the work done immediately. He was a fast talker and used a lot of terminology he may have thought I would not understand. I am a retired property claims adjuster. My sister just had a quote for a new condenser so I had a reference point. (Sorry I went with the B rated vendor) I made an appointment for a second opinion with Eric Beauregard of B&B Heating and Air, wonderful.

The service was good no complaints. They were on time and they did the job. I did not spend more than the original estimated price.

Keith was on time very professional & knowledgable, found some issues we discussed them and he left a full detailed report with several options for us. as soon as we discuss them we will definatly contact Cool Connections to do the job. Thank you!

The tech was on time and ready to work. Checked freon charge/pressure. Checked current draw motors and compressor. Flushed drain line. Professional and informative.

Sales rep showed up when promised - Did what appears to be a thorough examination, asked what I wanted, then explained what he felt would be best for my needs. Did a good job explaining what he saw and made recommendations. Note home was built in 1994. The installers were to add baffles where needed - seal openings to house as needed, upgrade insulation. We have a bonus room and very hard to get on top to blow in insulation. They offered to cut an opening and then seal as best as possible (we would be responsible for making look professional). Wife did not want a hole in bonus room ceiling so they promised to do best they could to insulate but could not guarentee all would be covered with R38 but would give best effort. Intsallers showed up on time. We spent first ten minutes going over what they were going to do to ensure what i was expecting is what they were planning on doing (very professional). They complted the work and then we had a short session where they explained what they did and that they were fairly sure they had covered the bonus room, but again noted that tsince they could not see whole roof section for bonus room they could not promise all was covered. Again suggested if we still had issues may want to consider cutting the necessary access so could guarantee properly insulated. Overall very professional - have to be honest, did not climb up into the attic to inspect the work as I have high ceilings and attic space is very limited.

What an excellent experience I had with this company! All of the people I dealt with at Cool Connections were efficient, personable, responsive, professional and knowledgeable - this goes for the woman that called me back to set my estimate appointment all the way through to the intallers who completed the job. Everyone arrived as scheduled, walked me through the process, helped me get my JEA rebate, completed the work timely and thoroughly cleaned up when finished. And now for the icing on the cake - I had almost no insulation in my attic or over my garage, today was cloudy, drizzly and 50 degrees outside. My heat had been going on and off several times an hour as it usually does - until Cool Connections was finished that is. The results were immediate and astonishing! Cool Connections completed the attic insulation installation at about noon today - it is now 11 PM, 49 degrees outside, my thermostat has been set on 68 degrees and my heat has only come on twice since they left my home 11 hours ago!!! An excellent company to do business with, an excellent process and product - what more could anyone want? I give Cool Connections my highest recommendations without any reservations.

The service man was more interested in trying to sell me a new ac unit instead of trying to find the real problem with my unit. I told him that the ducts from and to my unit to the main duct under my mobile home were several years old and i suspected that they were losing air. He said that he did not crawl under mobile homes to check ducts. Therefore, i felt like i gave this company $100.00 dollars for practically nothing, because i still had the same problems when he left. I called another company to get a second opinion, and this service man crawled under my mobile home and checked the ducts and one did have a split in it where i was losing air. Therefore, i would not recommend Cool Connections to anyone. A lady from their company called recently and asked if they could come and do a regular checkup on my unit and i politely replied, "Thanks for calling, but no i do not need your service". I explained the reason for this and she apologized for this happening. |

He wanted to charge me for the part and 1 hour for service. He claimed the compressor was overheated but it was warm to the touch under the sun. He poured water from the hose for 15 minutes to cool it down and charged me 2 hours for service. I insisted in not paying for the part under warranty. I will not use their service again.

He was good. I felt that the service guy went above and beyond what was necessary. He answered more questions than what he was actually required to do.

The deal went well and I was happy with the work. The technician that came out was knowledgable and helpful.

The technician was pleasant, educated in his trade and informative. However, the customer service at the company was terrible! When I called to schedule the appointment, the lady was abrubt and not very friendly. She informed me that they do not work on Saturdays, so I had to take a day off to schedule it for a Monday. I also told her it was a Rental property and asked if they could call me when they were on their way so I could meet the tecnichian there. She said yes. My appointment was between 9am - 11am on 10/21. I called again that morning around 9:15 to ensure the technician would call me when he was on his way there and she assured me that he would. Again she was short and not very friendly. I then received a call at around 9:30 from my tenant telling me that the technician was at the property working. When I arrived, he was done with the maintenance and he told me that he was not instructed to call me before arrival. I will never use this company again!

They were asked ahead of time to order and bring a new filter and change it. They knew what we had as they installed our HVAC heat exchanger and they are very good about calling to get that bi-annual cleaning and check up done .... They will call over and over until it is scheduled, and then they STILL called.. Not only did they NOT have the filter when they arrived but the technician was not told that was what we had asked for. We decided to go online and order our own filter and had it installed NOT with this company. We have been loyal customers for years and will continue to be so, but we will order our filters ahead of time from now on. Not only is that cheaper than buying it through them, but we can be certain to have the right filter when they come and have them install it.

3Keith found a broken PVC elbow, replaced it, and performed the system check. He also provided me with some good information on how to keep this 20 year old system running for as long a possible. What I liked is that he did not try to push a new system on me. It still works and he tuned it up. I currently use Cool Connections for three other properties that I own. I'm sticking with them.

Approximately one week later we experienced a water leak from one of the units. We had a second leak two weeks after that. On 10/2/13 we hired another A/C repair company to come look for the problem. According to this other A/C repairman, the air handler was needing to be cleaned, drained and sealed. The other unit had a low efficiency rating and needed more Freon added. I can not know if this was a problem that should have been caught by Cool Connections, Inc.

They sent a gentleman out and he gave me a written estimate. A lady called me the day before he came and gave me a 2-hour window to anticipate when he would arrive. When the gentleman came out the following week, he was as nice as can be. There was a rebate on the work and they sent me a check for that. They were very honest and did a good job. They guy worked very hard and explained everything really well.
