Chase Heating and Air Conditioning

Although the A/C continued to cool our home, the fan would not shut off after the desired temperature was obtained. Even when we shut off the unit, the fan continued to run. This all happened four days before our daughters wedding! I called Chase Air and they were scheduled to come on Tuesday, October 15, but because of a longer than expected appointment ahead of ours, we had to reschedule to Wednesday. Late Tuesday, I received a call from Chase Air and was made aware that the technician was running behind due to unexpected challenges at his current job site. I was given the option to have the technician arrive later on in the evening or reschedule to Wednesday. Since it was late and our air conditioning unit was cooling (we continued to received cold air), I opted to reschedule to Wednesday morning. On Wednesday, Charles promptly arrived on time and he and his son went to straight to work. Very professional, polite and knowledgeable. The problem was fixed and our unit (fan) is working beautifully. I appreciate their professionalism, hard work, honesty. I would recommend this company to anyone! Great job and Thank You!

Our A/C Unit began leaking from the air handler approximately 5 weeks prior to Chase Air coming out. We had a home owners warranty with American Home Shield, so our first call was to them. We purchased our condo in 2004 and the A/C was originally installed in 1997. When the home warranty was purchased, it was purchased for the sole reason of knowing that eventually the A/C would need to be replaced. It turns out that money was wasted since they did nothing but send clueless techs out to blow the drain lines. After two failed attempts at that I was told I needed a condensation pump installed but there was no room to put one in. So, I went out on my own to find another company to get a second opinion. That company charged me 900.00 to clean the coil (McGowans). This resulted in more leaking and the only possible solution to them was to replace the unit. They told us if we utilized them to do the work they would knock the 900.00 off charge for cleaning the coil. Well, their quote with that "discount" was 4400.00. We ended up getting two other quotes from companies we found here on Angie's list with favorable comments and recommendations. At the top of that list was Chase Air. They were 100% totally professional people from the first phone call to the complete installation. Charles and William came out on 03 September and replaced the air handler and outside condensation unit. When I arrived home, I noticed that the sound coming from the air handler was dramatically increased, so I called them and asked them to come back and see if there was anything they could do to decrease the noise. They made an appointment with us and were right on time to check it out. They made an adjustment to the fan motor which did bring the noise down to a more tolerable level. I can't say enough how impressed I was with this company. I pretty much knew when the first guy came out (with his son) to give us our first estimate, that we would be calling them back to do the job. I wanted to just hire him that day, but felt it would be in my best interest to at least get two more estimates. One of the two I received was about 300.00 less, but the technician failed to provide us the estimate when he said he would, nor did he call to let us know why he couldn't have the estimate for us on the date he promised. That was a red flag for me. Pride and professionalism goes a long way when dealing with customers, and Chase Air has obviously figured that out! Way to go to the Chase Air Team. He did an exceptional job. We've tried to have this unit fixed unsuccessfully several times in the past by other companies. Chase air came and quickly determined the problem and really fixed it. They also serviced our two other units to make sure we have no future issues. We were concerned that we were going to have to replace the faulty unit, but now it works as good as new. They provided very friendly and courteous service. We highly recommend them!!!!

Very professional & responsive. Answered my numerous questions w/ complete straight forward responses. My A/C work was authorized by the Warranty company and assigned to next vendor on "their" vendor list. Unfortunately for me this was not Chase Air. I would have been much happier.

The A/C stopped working on Saturday mid-day (and it was a holiday weekend). After checking Angie's List, I called and spoke to Charles who answered the phone promptly. He let me know they had a 4:00 PM time slot available to come that same day. He called about 30 mins before the appt. time and said he was on his way. Arrived promptly when specified. He located the problem, got the part he needed, and returned to complete the repair. This company is the best that we have dealt with hands down and we have been in Jacksonville for 30 years. I would definitely call them again...and recommend them to anyone. Great service. They deserve A+

They arrived and inspected the exisitng a/c duct work and got on the phone with managment prior to leaving to give me a quote. They completed a very thorough inspection of existing a/c unit on Thursday and showed up the next day to replace the duct work.. Very professional, quick and completed everything requested within 24 hours.

I called first thing in the morning and the technician called my wife later on that day seeing if he could go ahead and do the service. The technician went well above the expectation and even let me know he didnt need to replace an entire part but could repair it at half the cost. He was very friendly and even explained the process of everything he was doing. I will only be using them in the future.

We used Chase once before, after deciding to change to another company. Of course, we got them off Angie's List. Our system was approx. 12 years old and we were having some cooling problems. Of course it was during a really hot spell. We couldn't get the a.c. below 80 degrees. Called Chase and they immediately came out and, just as we thought, our system was on it's last leg. We are so comfortable with this company that we did not even bother to get another estimate. They are honest and we trust them. They were out the next day or so to replace the system. I know we have all had to deal with a.c. people during hot spells when everyone is having problems and I usually get the "we can't get out right away" answer. Not with Chase - either time we have used them. They call back immediately and get out as fast as humanly possible. Great experience and we will continue to use them for all of our a.c. It's stressful enough when you are having a heating or a.c. problem, but to have to wait just makes it worse. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants a fair, honest company addressing their needs.

Our AC was starting to blow warm air during the hottest part of the days. On the weekend we called Chase Air, because it is hard to find time during the work-week to make a call. We received a return call on Saturday and missed the call. We received a return call on Sunday and were told that they were closed, but someone could be out tomorrow. Monday, Mike came out and was on-time, courteous, knowledgeable, and able to fix the problem very quickly. He even showed us some preventive measures to help keep the unit running well between tuneups. We will definitely be having the company out again to do all of our tuneups so we never have to be hot in our home again. :)

Very knowledgable, professional, and efficient. Options for service and financing clearly laid out and well expained without pressure of a sale. Service/equipment quote came in slightly lower than quotes from two other vendors and professionalism shown by all Chase staff members exceeded both of the other vendors who provided quotes. Customer service done right, the way you just don't see often anymore. Email and call response always very timely and as promised. Went above and beyond in offering to bring over a portable A/C unit to use until existing unit was fixed. Did installation on July 4 with no extra charge. A+

After an exhaustive search for a company,i went with chase air. Charles came out and went through everything and i felt very comfortable They installed a new system in my house and was very professional. I called him several times with questions and each time he had an answer for me. I really was trying to decide between a 13 seer and a 15 seer, but with the rebates and tax credit i went with the 15 seer. They also offered a 3year labor warranty which really pushed me over the edge.Every other company offered a 1 year warranty. We set up a time to install the unit and they came on time and took good care of my house. After they were done i noticed a small leak from the drip line in the house and i called Charles and he came back within 20 minutes and fixed everything. He even went back in the attic to take care of some small details that were missed...When he did he dropped his keys in the attic insulation and actually found them when he went back up to look...good job Charles. Overall i probably spent a little more than i wanted to but the labor warranty really sold it plus the rebates. I have recommended them to several people and would use them again,. I am very pleased with everything.

It went great. Even provided a portable ac unit so we would have some cool air during the conversion since weather was 90 degrees. Very pleased.

Very well. Thoroughly went over what my options were with pros and cons for each. Removal and installation went smoothly and professionally.

Charles with Chase Air responded quickly to my request to repair my AC, coming out to the house within an hour and a half. He quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the faulty capacitor. He also replaced the ripped insulation on the copper line. On top of all of this, he also explained my options for improving the air conditioning in our bonus room, which included inspecting the attic and getting up on the roof.

Fantastic Company run by honest people. Unsatisfied with the service and results from my former company, I called Chase Air. Charles and Mike came to my house on a Friday to survey and recommend a replacement unit. Charles returned to repaired my A/C on Saturday to get us through the weekend (at no change), and replaced our system the next Wednesday. Mark installed the new unit and ran a professional crew. Chase Air cleaned up a maintenance/service nightmare my old company left us in. The price was more than fair. If you need a company who is good to their word, professional and really knows the cooling business you should call Chase Air.

They were pretty good but the only problem I had was that they did not clean up well when they left. Other than that, everything went well. They passed the inspection.

Charles was great. I used Chase Air for an A/C tune up almost a year ago. My second time around I was hoping that it would be Charles. He even remembered that I was on my way to buying my dream car the first time we met and couldn't stay to go over what was being done. Very trust worthy person and company!!!! Will definitely have my business in the future!!!!!

Mike came out to our home to clean our HVAC system. He was on time and professional. He spend a lot of time cleaning both of our systems and gave me advise on how we could extend the life of our systems.

I called Chase Air and asked for a quote for a tune-up and coil cleaning service and was quoted $138.00. It was a good price, comparable to other places I had called and I scheduled the appointment. They arrived early, which was ok with me. The technician inspected my A/C and advised me that my blower also needed to be cleaned and there was an additional charge for that which I agreed to. Unfortunately, when the cleaning was done and it came time for me to pay the bill, I was told that there was also a $99 service charge so my bill ended up being $99 more than I had expected. They are really nice folks and I appreciate the work they did though I do feel blindsided by the additional $99 that I was not told about when I called for the quote.

I called and they were able to come out on a service call the very same day. The technician confirmed the leak and showed me the location of the leak. He provided a competetive quote to replace the AC unit and also a quote to replace the coils and recharge the system. We decided to go with the repair which also was set up promptly. Two young technicians came out the following day to replace the unit. They were a little late but I was called and notified of the delay in picking up parts. Both of the techs were competent and professional and did a great job. They cleaned up after themselves and did, in my opinion, a high-quality job. They saved my quite a bit of money over the other quote I had. I would definately use them again.
