It went well, the owner came to my house. I feel he is trustworthy and does quality work.

Charles was very professional and came to my house promptly and on time. He reviewed my options with me. I elected to have a new air handler and heat pump installed. He came out the next and installed it. It only took him around 3 hours for the enter job. Through the whole process he kept his work area very tidy. Afterword he showed us how to use the new thermostat that came with the system. Great service and a great price. The AC is working awesome. Chase heating and Air-conditioning has exceeded my expectations on every level. Thanks

They got to the house the next business day and came back as soon as possible to install parts. Nice to have great service after the installation.

The maintenance work done by the rep was good and I got a quote of $79 from the owner but the bill was for $99.

Very badly. Had to replace entire system in short time

I had used an ‘inexpensive’ company to swap out an upstairs unit that was giving me problems. The price for the new unit was pretty good and I was the one suggesting a new unit would be better than throwing more money at the old unit that never worked well. The new unit was performing worse than the old unit after installation and had been looked at several times. I had a new unit warranty but the labor wasn’t covered. They couldn’t get it working right and had even stopped charging me for the labor. I had family coming in to stay with me for a week in the middle of summer and got worried about waiting for them to figure out the problem. I went to Angie’s List and selected Chase Air based on the reviews hoping the unit would be sorted out before my family arrived for their visit. Charles came out, replaced a part and explained that if the install was ‘dirty’ the part would fail and he’d know how to get the unit working correctly. The part failed and the next day he spent several hours fixing things the other company did and then left a machine running overnight to clear out the line. A day later he came back, replaced the failed part and the unit ran perfectly from there on. He only charged me for the first part and repair. I’ve been using Chase Air ever since. Recently my older downstairs unit stopped working and had been acting up for months. Charles came out the next day, used some spare parts and got it working again. He told me he would be back with the correct part but that the fix he did would be fine for a few days till he could get the right part. I asked him if he would apply the cost to a new unit instead and he agreed. We set a date for the swap out. I looked into the price I was being charged for the swap out. It was the same or slightly cheaper than other companies would charge. The temporary fix wasn’t included in the price. Thanks Chase Air! Hurricane Mathew beat us to it but fortunately the temporary fix held up and I never went without AC. The swap out was done by Mike McLain. Showed up on time, was very knowledgeable and very friendly. The job was done in a few hours just like they promised. When he was done he went over everything with me and the clean up was spotless. Nice young man. A few days later the upstairs older unit stopped working. Mike M. showed up on time and within 15 minutes had diagnosed the issue, called the manufacturer for warranty coverage, explained to me what was involved and told me the cost. Came back with the part when he said he would and was done so quickly I barely noticed he was here. There have been other occasions where I have called Chase Air to set up an appointment and Charles suggested some things I could look at on my own. In one case I was able to fix the issue myself with his suggestion. I’ve also emailed Chase Air with some questions after the fact and received a response within a day or less. More impressive to me was the offer to contact them if I had any more questions because I could tell they meant it and I have taken them up on it. I have dealt with 4 AC companies since moving to Jacksonville, from the most well known to those not so well known. The bigger companies make me feel like they are looking for the up sell and once they’re done so is the customer service. Chase Air does good work for a fair price and it’s easy to tell each person in Chase Air knows what they’re doing and takes pride in their work. They didn’t promise good customer service…they just went about providing it. You can find cheaper but you won’t find better.

Michael (Technician) was fantastic!! He arrived at the appointed time. Before entering our home, he put covers over his shoes and then asked what issues I was having with my A/C unit. Immediately went to work on repairing my unit. Repairs were performed in a timely manner. Again, Michael could not have been more personable. Extremely knowledgeable and explained all problematic issues before starting the necessary repairs. Not only will I use Chase in the future, but was happy to know that they will go ahead and put me on their annual calendar for preventative maintenance. GREAT company, service and personnel!!!!

Great service. Reasonable price. This is the 2nd time we've used them and I would highly recommend them for any HVAC work. The repair was actually finished within 2 hours of my phone call. This is the best service company in Jacksonville. There is no high pressure sales, but just a thorough assessment of the problem and the estimate before proceeding with the repairs.

I'm on a service plan. I pay $39 a month. When they come out to tune it up, if something is wrong, I have to pay for a part or something like that. Their price is reasonable.

They have been our HVAC guy for 10 years. He always shows up on time and stays focused on the work to get done. I can tell when Charles sends out his assistants that he trained them because they do just as good work. I would definitely recommend this contractor to anyone looking for an A/C company.

EXCELLENT SERVICE AT A GOOD PRICE. My home needed a new HVAC system and so I called several of the top rated Angie's list companies to ask what brand and size they would recommend for my size home, and what they would charge me. I also asked what brands they would stay away from and why. The companies were all recommending the same brand for installation, and the same brands to stay away from. So for me at that point it was a matter of who would give me the best price for the BRYANT system, and who had an excellent rating with Angie's list. When I check out Angie's list I look at ALL REVIEWS, and check what percent are A,B,C,D,F for quality and price. I want the total picture. CHASE AIR was the definite winner, and so I went with them. The technician who installed the unit was wonderful in every way, and it's working great. I also like it that this is a small business with the owner and one other employee doing the work, and so they really care about their business reputation. They are also both great family guys and I definitely recommend CHASE AIR as THE BEST!

I came back into town late Thursday night and my AC did not work. I called them at 8:15am, left my door unlocked and a check on the stove due to the referrals on Angie's List. They were there by 1pm and finished by 2:30pm - same day service in late June on an AC Repair is unheard of. I will use again.

We called Chase air when our upstairs air handler died. Charles came out and was able to do a temporary fix, but it soon became apparent that both it and the downstairs air conditioners needed to be replaced. An appointment was made for 4 days later at 8:00 am. Charles arrived at 7:55 am and immediately went to work, laying out a protective tarp in the main hallway. A co-worker showed up around 10:00 am. Both were extremely professional, quiet, and efficient, and Charles answered all my questions and explained what he was doing. All the old units and equipment were removed, all packaging was gathered up and removed as well, and all mess was cleaned up. All work was completed before 5:00 pm the same day. I would definitely hire Charles again, for any air conditioning service I require in the future.

My a/c quit cooling on 03/15. I called Chase the next day and they said could have someone out that day. Charles came out and said he could repair the system. Charles and I had discussed replacing system which was approximately 20 years old in 2011 so I decided to change if price was reasonable. Charles gave me several options and explained that my present system was too big for my square footage. Once he explained what and why of his recommendation and quoted a very reasonable price I told him to exchange it. Installation could not be until Wednesday. The gentleman that came did excellent work and did not even take a break until he was finished. He even took his boots off to protect my carpet!

Prices very high. Emphasis on recommending system replacement until I insisted on further evaluating the present components. No system replacement was indicated.

Mr. McClain, or Micheal as he introduced himself completely satisfied all of my worries about our system and its previous nights noises. He repaired some wiring in the area that I had concerns about and investigated and ran diagnostics on the area where I had heard a "clunking" noise that turned out to be run-of -the-mill operational noises. The system is now reset, Puron full, and ready for our next chilly night. I was expecting to have to pay anywhere from 350 to 500 dollars and Mr. McClain charged me a diagnostic fee and nothing else. I was so taken aback at his generosity that I had to write this letter. To me the work he did and the assurances he gave were worth far more and the quality of work and the professionalism and time he took with a layman such as myself to explain his work were invaluable. Accolades all around for he and the Chase Air team!

Found vendor on Angie's list. Responded to estimate request immediately. Showed up on agreed day and installed both heat pumps in one day (12/16/14). Had a minor issue with one compressor which was promptly resolved after installation. Also had them move a dryer vent line. Charles (owner) and Mike were professional, courteous, careful and neat. Very satisfied with their work and highly recommend Chase Air.

This is a great company. Charles came out and performed maintenance check and cleaning of unit. I did not know that he was Charles, "the owner"; very nice man, honest and reliable. I had used Chase before, but used another company last year (on the advice of a friend) and was disappointed with that company. I have returned to Chase for good! Thank you for doing a great job!

This is a truly exceptional company. We have worked with many firms like this, and they are the best. They responded incredibly fast and did a great job fixing our AC. The cost was very reasonable. Most recently they helped us install a thermostat by guiding us over the phone for FREE! I very highly recommend this company. They might not be the biggest, but in my opinion they are the best!!!

Cost seems high, but my system was very low in refrigerant. I was not pleased with the previous provider who i had purchased the system from, therefore, I was looking for a new provider. This provider was very informative and did a very good job.
