He came and did a diagnostic on A/C but we went with someone else to do the work. No offense to them, my husband just knew the other guy and he gave us a cheaper price.

Great, did not feel pushed and were upfront with everything that was going on. Will continue to use them in the future.

Contacted Chase on Monday, July 7th for a service call and Craig stopped by that afternoon. Before entering the house he slipped on shoe covers even though we had wood floors. This showed that he respected our home so that was a big plus to me. He proceeded to do his check and determined the compressor was bad. He broke down our options, gave us prices for each option and made sure we understood the potential issues. We opted for the complete system replacement since it included a 10 year warranty. We were pleasantly surprised when Craig told us that they could install the new system the following day! We were fully expecting the install would have to be scheduled later in the week. The following day Craig showed up promptly at 8:00 am for the install and told us that it would likely be an all day affair. He took down the old system and we asked him if we could keep the coils to take to the salvage yard to recoup some of the cost. He said that would be no problem. Craig completed the install around 5:00 pm, cleaned up and did his final check. After 3 days without air conditioning in the Florida heat we were very happy that Chase was able to fit us into the schedule so quickly. I can't stress how happy we are with the service provided especially with Craig's professionalism. I highly recommend Chase!!

This was an emergency after hours call and they came out within about 90 minutes of the call. They did a good job but I felt the price was a bit high. Craig was very friendly, worked efficiently and was very responsive.

Michael was the technician who came to service the unit today. I have a 21 year old (no joke!) Janitrol system that I thought for sure had finally hit its end of life. After hearing what I already had done to the unit the night before, he explained the things he would check, checked them efficiently while I watched, all the while, he patiently explained his findings and showed me what he was looking at. We went over the options (repair existing or replace system), Michael prepared an estimate to replace the system, and gave me the cost to repair. He explained the estimate in detail, discussed some of the system types and the advantages/disadvantages, and I elected to repair being fully informed of the choices and possible outcomes. As soon as the decision was made, he replaced the capacitor, and added Freon and a sealing substance to the system. System is working now. Hoping for one more year, but if not, I will definitely have Chase Air come back to replace the system. Very pleased with the responsiveness, cleanliness, thoroughness, and the general customer service, from both the initial phone call with Charles, to the actual appointment with Michael. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again, and I also would recommend them to others without reservation.

I researched them on Angie's List, and they came highly rated. They did a good job. They were prompt, timely, and did what they said they would do. I would recommend them, and I would use them.

Let me start by telling you about our estimate experiences. We had 7 estimates before choosing to go with Chase. I was present (as a pregnant wife) for all of them while my husband worked. I sat through everything from power point presentations (literally) to lectures and handouts to absolutely nothing (one company was in and out in 5 minutes, left without giving me a single thing, said he'd email it...and never did!) It was amazing to see the differences in the first impressions made by each company. Some treated me like an idiot (perhaps I play the part well, but I do have a doctorate). Some spoke as though I owned my own AC company. After research and a father-in-law that knows everything I had decent knowledge on what were looking for and where to spot significant differences. One of the first major differences of this company was that they requested to set up a time when both spouses could be present. (Having to relay details to my husband was not as easy as I thought, he was going to have to call for addtional clarification on this or that). This is a small differnce, but very helpful and only requested by this company. Upon his punctual arrival, the owner was very courteous, neatly dressed and polite. Some were sloppy and unkept and over an hour late with no heads up. Made me question the quality of their workmanship. Another small difference was how much I appreciated the little shoe coverings few companies insist on wearing. Only two, Chase included, wore them in my house. Now you must understand, we have all hardwood floors which are hardly ever clean, we have three dogs that seem to shed year round so I was not concerned with any dirt on their shoes, but I was concerned when one of the estimators (who did not wear the shoe coverings) almost stepped in a huge pile of doggie 'byproduct' that could have been tracked into my house... I now appreciate something I once thought of as unnecessary... During this estimate, we all sat down to discuss certain elements first, instead of immediately showing them the air handler and compressor. It was nice because we were able to tell him about features we were interested in and for him to gain an understanding of what we already had in mind. I liked that he also told us to feel free to stop him at any time if we felt we knew we would not be using their services for whatever reason. I respected this because I wish I had been able to cut off half of the companies when they started blowing smoke... and wasting my valued day off. Some I'd even say, 'begged' for our business.. Red flag, annoying an uncomfortable. We were not concerned with finding the "cheapest deal". This is a major investment. We wanted a superior system installed properly and timely. At the end of our estimate adventure, we had three estimates for the exact same models with the same "bells and whistles" we wanted. We went with a Bryant 16 Seer Variable speed model with an added filter. Everything was replaced, copper, etc. When comparing this model with the other companies, we found that Chase was not only cheaper, but offered the best deal on warranties by far. One thing I learned was that a 10 year warranty on parts is standard but the labor warranty is where the differences comes in. All other companies offered only 1 year labor, which I began to think was standard... Chase offered a 4 year warranty on labor! Wow! Now here's something I could not understand... It's a brand new system... Surely there shouldn't be problems with it unless the install was done improperly. The fact that they were giving me the best warranty on labor tells me they back their installation. Excellent. They also offered 0% financing and, similar to other companies that offered this, gave a discount for cash. That's totally dependent upon your situation but I did think it was a great perk to have as an option if needed. We got our estimate on a Friday night and thankfully they were able to get us done the next day! I couldn't handle another restless night. That was unexpected and a blessing on such a short notice. They showed up first thing in the morning and got right to work. They were very hard workers and left everything neat and tidy. The new system looks amazing! Clean, neat and orderly! At the end of the day when we went to write out the check, we had another pleasant surprise, my husband went to add in tax but they said that was already included in the estimate! Wow! No other company did that (all stated at the bottom of the invoice tax not included). This made it and even better deal!!! Excellent company. We will definitely recommend them and use them for all our heating/cooling needs. Another small personal thing I will quickly add is that I just got, let's call it "good vibes" from all of them. Good, hardworking, honest family.

Yesterday I arrived home only to find that my house was over 80 degrees. I could hear the AC fan going on and off. I immediately called Chase. Derek said he had a technician in the area, and he would arrive within the hour. Craig was here about 40 minutes later. He discovered that the AC motor was bad, so he told me that he'd see what he could do to determine whether the warranty was still in effect and would call me this morning. Around 8AM I received a call from Craig. He had found another motor in Jax, it was still under warranty, and, if I wanted, he could be here soon and replace the motor. Of course I said yes! He promptly arrived, put the motor in, and was on to another job in about an hour. Craig was a terrific person to work with. He was polite, very pleasant, and answered any questions that I had. Having this AC motor replaced was so easy for me, because Craig did all the work--calling, picking it up, etc. And, even though he had worked a very difficult six-hour job on one system yesterday, when he arrived here at around 5:00, he still had a sense of humor and was very, very nice. I have only used Chase a few times, simply because my relatively new system has only needed yearly, regular service. However, I will continue to use Chase, and I plan to always request Craig--although I'm sure that all their technicians are great!! This is incredible service, an incredible company, with incredible technicians!! THANKS TO CHASE AND TO CRAIG!

He was very through on looking at the outdoor part of the system then looking at the AC Filters.

We had several estimates to replace the AC. Everyone who came in, including McAir, Sears, Lowes wanted to charge us the arm, leg and then some. Mr.Charles came in, gave us an estimate and what we thought was a fair price for the unit we got. The technicians came in and installed the new unit. They were very professional, punctual and honest. We already recommended them to some of our friends. We are very happy with their sservice. Thank you ChaseAir!

We had several estimates to upgrade our HVAC system on our new 'old' home as it is getting long in the tooth. Most wanted to replace the ductwork as it was leaking much cold air into the attic. Chase Air felt we could reuse the existing ducts as they were well made, but unfortunately made in a time when energy efficiency was not a large issue. It was suggested that they could remove the old insulation from our 1960's ductwork and reseal it and cover it with a more energy efficient insulation at a fraction of what it would cost to remove and replace the existing ductwork. I was told it would take 'a day' to do this project. The techs arrived at 7:00 AM (to beat the heat) as agreed to and the three of them worked until 9:30 PM (Quite a Day). They worked meticulously and did what they said they would do. The house is much cooler even though we still have our old lumbering system and I am sure all things considered we will save on our electric bill too. I was most impressed with the techs at Chase and their professionalism as well.

The service was fine. They agreed to check the other unit for the same price. The technician was good. They got the job done in about one hour.

I sent a (email) message late night to Chair Air after noticing that my A/C compressor unit was not working. They called first thing in the morning to discuss the issue and also offered the same day repair squeezing in time beteween their appointments. I was very happy with the responsiveness, profesionalism and overall customer service. The price they quoted for the service was also very competetive. However (fortunately for me), one of my neighbours who happend to know the A/C stuff, offered to take a look at the problem and fixed it on the spot. It wasn't a major issue. I called back Chair Air to cancel the appointment and they were very accommodating. Next time I need to get some A/C service done, i will definitely reach out to Chair Air based on my experience with them.

The service turned out well. We actually purchased our AC unit from this company. The technicians do good work and scheduling is not an issue.

Called Chase around 6:45 pm. They said they would have tech out in approximately 2 hours. Less than an hour later Craig showed up, analyzed problem and replaced capacitor in less than 30 minutes we had cold air! This is the 4th time I have used Chase and they have always exceeded my expectations! I would highly recommend chase for any of your a/c problems!

Charles was absolutely great to work with for an estimate. He was extremely knowledgable and explained everything to me. He helped me decide on a system that fit my needs with overselling on things I didn't need. The price was extremely competitive to others quotes and even included items, that after researching were needed, that others did not include. While I did not end up using this company because I ended up choosing a system in between the two levels of systems they offered. I can say they came in an extremely close second place. I would not hesitate to call them in the future for my HVAC needs.

The day following my initial call I received a courtesy call from the company to let me know that the service representative would be Mike Smith and that he was en route in accordance with the agreed to service schedule. Mike Smith arrived 30 minutes later and went to work. The repair was surprisingly complex (surprising to me) in that a sequence of events and subsystem failures had caused the overall system malfunction. Mike kept me informed of what he was finding as the effort progressed, taking pictures with his smart phone at one point to facilitate my understanding of an interim repair he needed to perform before providing an overall assessment of the condition of my system. After replacing several parts he was able to put the system back in service. The repaired system is 15 years old and it was refreshing to hear that despite my system's age, the general condition of the system is still "good". Unfortunately, it is far more common, and of course far more profitable for service providers, to advise consumers to replace older systems like mine. If you are in need of a heating and air conditioning service provider, check the reviews on Angie's List for the frequency of complete system replacements (as opposed to repairs) for important insight into the orientation of the contractors you are considering. It is NOT the case that a complete system replacement is the only or the best solution more often than not. I selected Chase in large part on that basis, (i.e. it appeared that there was a reasonable mix of minor service calls, substantive repairs, and system replacements) after reading customer reviews for several of the "award" winning providers I found on Angie's List. This worked out very well and, obviously, I wasn't disappointed. Some of the parts that needed replacement on my system were so severely fried that it would have been relatively easy to convince me that my system needed to be replaced, and I'm a relatively sophisticated consumer of systems used in residential and commercial buildings. Instead I got a thorough explanation of the problem, and honest assessment of what I needed to do to fix the problem, and a cost effective repair - i.e. integrity and an exceptionally good consumer experience. I now trust this company implicitly on the basis of this initial service experience and will engage Chase again for future repairs and eventually to replace my existing systems when that becomes necessary. STRONG RECOMMENDATION for Chase and for its highly skilled and professional service rep - Mike Smith.

Chase air conditioning is the most professional and thorough air conditioning company I have ever used and I am almost 70. If need be they will totally take apart your old compressor. I let them select the air con when it was finally time to change out. They went with a Comfortmaker and it is a Cadillac. Here in Florida, this system has no problem with the most extreme heat. Try to go with what Charles wants in your home. He is honest and extremely knowledgeable and an expert in savings in the long run.

Craig showed up on time. Was professional at all times, wore protective coverings over his shoes when inside the house, and thoroughly cleaned up after he was finished. Performed a complete tune up of the system. Paid special attention to a clogged drain line that was causing some overflow of water from the drip pan. Replaced the blower motor capacitor as well. Overall excellent service and a well earned price. Thanks!

Charles did an extremely thorough job with the HVAC cleaning and found a few issues that needed attention. We were very pleased with his service and the quality of his work.

I was very pleased with the service call. Michael was efficient and professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem (low coolant in unit) and provided me with my repair options. He completed the work in a very reasonable amount of time (and in the pouring rain!). I was so pleased with the service that I signed up for an annual maintenance plan.

Very trustworthy.. I purchased a new thermostat and had a conductor replaced but was not pressured too. The outside AC is so much more quiet with the conductor being replaced

Excellent Angie's Deal: Technician Mike Smith and son were punctual, professional and thorough. The service included more than the typical "spring tune-up" and no additional repairs or replacements were suggested. Will definitely call on them next year.

The technicians arrived on-time and were neat, clean, friendly, and professional. The work was performed beyond my satisfaction. I had one small part replaced while they were here. I would definitely recommend Chase Air.

It went great the service tech was professional, very polite and explained most of what he was doing and how it went. I did find out about a week later that Home depot was offering the same tune ups for 19.99. But unless they were on Angies list I am not sure I would use them. I also found out from the service tech they they perform ac duct cleaning.
