The guys were prompt and fast. They were done before I knew it. It looks good and I'm sad to say I look forward to the next rain shower to test them out. I will be having them install on the sides in the near future because I do love the way the gutters look. Thanks guys for a great job...

I had Gutter Helmet installed a few years ago by a previous franchise owner. The Helmet was not installed properly, it caused damage and when they came to fix it they left dents in the Helmet. I went to the Home Show this year and spoke with Kevin. He came out to the house - and since I was getting a new roof - the Helmet had to be removed. Kevin indicated that the damaged areas would be replaced when the Helmet was re-installed. Well, Gutter Helmet was here yesterday. To my surprise, the entire Helmet was replaced. The owner of Gutter Helmet not only stood behind his lifetime warranty, he made right what the old franchise owner did wrong. And now, I have a new Lifetime Warranty. This company has my gratitude and my business for a lifetime!

They were great. I thought my gutters needed cleaning, but when Mike came out he pointed out that the gutters were clean but the previous owners put in 4 inch gutters. The smaller gutters were not enough to handle the rain and overflowed. They redid the gutters and they are doing a much better job.

Our new home came without any gutters. David Sutherland came out and reviewed the property with us. We decided to put gutters around the entire 2,000 sq. ft.house and include 5 downspouts. Although Gutter Helmet is a little pricier than other companies, we liked the seamless gutters, the guarantee and the company's ability to install the system in a matter of days. Other companies wanted us to wait over a month before someone could even come out. A two-man crew came out in a couple of days and it took them less than a day to install the system. They did a great job at matching the color of the downspouts to the house color. A diverter was installed in front of the house and it was white like the gutter color. When I told Brian that I thought it stuck out a little, he brought out a can of spray can that was about the same color of the roof. My husband hadn't seen it yet, so I told Brian not to paint it because my husband might want it white. Brian left the paint can with me and we later painted it. Two days later it rained real hard and we noticed an area leaking where one of their spacers attached to the gutter. I called and they came out the next day and fixed it. Brian said, "I noticed you painted the diverter!" We are well satisfied and recommend Gutter Helmet.

They are a bit more in cost, but the representative did a great job in describing their service and product. The work was done on time and completed when they said it would be. Service provided was well within the final price. Very fair deal.

They were very very nice. Needed new gutters, so they couldn’t do they work.

The Gutter Helmet works just like Kevin said it would...I'll never have to clean my gutters again!

Initially this company was included in a roof repair job to replace gutters. The initial estimate obtained through the roofing company was $350. After the roofing job was completed, I was told Gutter Helmet would come out to perform gutter replacement. Gutter Helmet sent out the owner's son to look at the job. He saw that there was a french drain attached to one gutter and was at a loss as to what to do to replace. He said the job would be double what was originally estimated - if they could do the work (he was very unsure). I was told they would get back to me. About a week later another representative of the company showed up (no call, no appointment). He took a look and said they would be able to work with a french drain and tie into it. He was supposed to get me an estimate. I never heard back. Finally the owner called and apologized for the miscommunication. He offered to make it right, but I had already signed a contract with another provider and did not feel comfortable reneging on that. I believe they are putting processes in place to avoid this type of mishap in the future.

The estimator Michael Scantling arrived 1+hours late for the appointment claiming his boss sent him to Saint Augustine Beach instead of Vilano Beach. He arrived with another man, but did not introduce him or indicate why the other man was here. MS measured the house then walked to the back of the house, where I was swinging my 20 month old granddaughter. He said he was going to the car to get some samples and would be right back. In the meantime, Mike from American Gutters showed up (on time I might add). I apologized to Mike and explained that Gutter Cap had been late. He was very nice and said it wasn't a problem etc. Michael from Gutter Cap came back to where I was with my granddaughter and showed me a drawing of the house and began his presentation. I was still swinging my granddaughter and assured him I was paying attention, which I was. I heard his spiel, then he asked me if I had obtained another quote and how much was it. I told him I wouldn't give him that figure; I wanted him to give me his best price. A couple of times my granddaughter said Grandma and I would excuse myself and look directly at her. She was in a baby swing and wasn't being distracting or anything. At this point I asked Michael what his price was and he said about $2,100.00, about $11.00 a LF. He went on to say that with Gutter Cap I would be getting a quality product, no leaks, 10 year warranty, blah, blah, blah. Approximately 104 linear feet of gutters with 3 downspouts for nearly 3x the amount I've been quoted by other companies. I coughed spluttered and told him I wasn't paying $2,100.00 for gutters and I don't know exactly what his quote entailed because at that point Michael became angry and said "you know what, this is not even worth my time", as he said it he held out his hand and I shook it and told him that I didn't appreciate being insulted in my own yard; told I wasn't worth his time, and told him to get off my property. He was unprofessional to the nth degree, he insulted every other gutter company around saying their products were inferior to his. I spoke to the owner and he was very nice, offered to come out and measure and present the quote but I declined, as Michael already quoted $2,100.00. Their gutters must be solid silver...

They came out and gave us an estimate. The estimate was a a bit higher than a competitor's quote, but we liked Gutter Helmet better and felt they were more out for our best interest than to make a profit. They gave us helpful suggestions on things unrelated to gutters (I.e. calking) to prevent moisture from seeping in to our house. They showed up for the installation at the agreed upon time and installed the gutters without a hitch. The price was true to the quote and the gutters look great! Thanks for a good experience - we will be using Gutter Helmet for any future needs.

Every facet from our initial contact to the completion of the project went extremely well. David the sales person was very professional, he explained the product in detail, which assisted me with my selection. The crew was on time and through, had a wonderful experience. Thanks,

It was great. We were inclined to call the gutter helmet company that is associated with the Home and Patio Show, thinking they must be the best. However, after checking with Angie's List, we decided on Gutter Helmet. We got an immediate appointment with Kyle. Boy, does he know his stuff. He explained how gutters should be placed so that they don't detract from the front of the house (ours were wrong). He explained about how the gutter helmets work. He helped me choose colors so the gutters and downspouts blend with our brick house. We also added screens to the gutters we already had on our family/sun room which is on the back side of the house. Not pushy at all. It was a great learning experience. Got the gutters. Obviously, there was a mess when the old gutters were removed. Every piece of debris was cleaned up and there was absolutely no mess at all left on our property. The gutter helmets work great. We had serious issues with hard rain going over our gutters and beating down my flowers. No more. It's amazing. No messy gutters to clean out any more. I just wish we had done it sooner. This company is great!

Completed work in the time frame they said they would. I live in another state so can't say anything about the quality of the work right now. Once I visit the home in FL I will come back and finish this review. I had to call a few times to get some answers and was passed on to a different person each time. However, they were friendly and cooperative--I hope they did a good job. UPDATE: the gutters look good! I would recommend them.

On the week of May 13th, Shannon came to our house to give my husband and I an estimate on gutters. He was very professional, and personable and we were sold on the spot. We had wanted the gutters to be done in early July so that we had all funds saved to pay for the gutters (as we are opposed to avoidable debt), but Shannon scheduled them for May 24th, and said he would give us 60 days after install to pay the remaining balance. I thought this was very generous of the company. On May 24th, the gutter install crew arrived a little late. Their work order showed us not getting gutters everywhere that Shannon had put in our original estimate. They said we not getting gutters over the garage, and that my order had a downspout for gutters going right into my mulch. My estimate said that they were going above the garage and the downspout was going into the grass. I called Shannon, who then spoke with the crew and told them how my gutters were supposed to be. Shannon assured me that he took care of it and not to worry. I did not stand outside to monitor the gutters going up, because I was inside with my small children. Gutter helmet's policy (I was told by the General Manager of the company and the President) is not take a customer's money unless they are happy and not to leave a job site unless the customer is happy. One of the men in the gutter crew came to my door when the installation was complete and just told me how much money I owed them. I gave them a check for 70% of the gutters as was arranged by Shannon. The men then just started to leave. I ran outside to see the gutters (since no one went over the work with me) and although they did put the gutters above the garage, they still had the downspout going into my wooden mulch and not into the grass. I pleaded with the men to fix it, I told them over and over again how unhappy I was, but they refused. They said that's where it was supposed to go, to move it would cost me a lot more money, and that they had other jobs to do. I argued with them, I begged the men to fix it, upsetting one of the crew members. He started throwing his tools, slamming the truck, and cursing at me about how I had already gotten "free" gutters above the garage. He literally cursed at me. By the time they left, I was almost in tears. I called Shannon and told him what happened. Then the General Manager, Wallace, called me and I explained everything to him too. He was adamant that this was not how the company conducts business, that my gutters would be fixed very soon, that I was not responsible for the remaining balance on my gutters, and that the man who was so rude and had cursed at me was already fired. I then received a similar call from Kevin, the president of the company, repeating their company policies and promising a quick resolve. He said that they had my check but would not be cashing it until I was happy. By May 30th, almost a week later, I still hadn't heard from anybody at the company about scheduling having my gutters fixed. I finally got a hold of Wallace, who said that my gutters where scheduled to be fixed on June 7th sometime because that's when they could "fit me in". I was upset that they scheduled this without telling me at all, and that they had no regard to my schedule or when I was available. After this I only spoke with Kevin, the president. He said that he would try to have the men come back to my house sooner, and that they would call and schedule it with me, and that when the men came back they wouldn't be allowed to leave until he, the president of the company, called to make sure I was pleased with my gutters. And he said he was not going to cash my original check until he spoke to me after they were fixed. On June 4th, I got a call from the gutter men saying they were 20 minutes from my house. This had not been scheduled with me prior, they were just going to show up. This upset me, but luckily I was home and available. The men showed up, fixed what I asked them to fix and then informed that the earlier employee that was so very rude to me was in fact never fired, he was actually on vacation and would be back to work shortly. Then the men left. The president of the company never called me to make sure I was happy, and he then cashed my check immediately without ever once reaching out to me. As for the remaining balance I was told I was not responsible for, I received the bill for that last week saying its due in a few days. UPDATE: At no point have I had an issue with the quality of my gutters. They not only look great, but they work perfectly, even in the heavy coastal rains and tropical storms. After the original review, the president of Gutter Helmet, Kevin Booth, came to my house, and we thoroughly discussed all of the issues that I had encountered. He acknowledged the company's mistakes, explained why things had and hadn't happened, and gave a detailed description to several company policies that have changed so that other issues like mine don't occur in the future. After the second crew moved the original downspout to the proper location, there were a few noticeable holes left on my house. This bothered me since the house is only a few months old. Kevin came out and personally patched the holes, and then came back out to paint the holes almost the exact color of my house. The holes are completely gone. He went out of his way to fix the errors that had occurred and make me feel like a valued customer to the company. I still would never allow the original rude employee back on my property, but I have since met several other Gutter Helmet employees that were very nice and professional. It shows great character for a company to value one person's experience and opinion so highly and I feel comfortable recommending them to others in the gutter market. Nobody and no company are perfect, but Gutter Helmet really does care and wants all customers to have a positive experience.

Unable to utilize service. I talked with a contact person and was told that he wanted the general manager to contact me as I was a real estate company and he wanted to give us good service for referrals. No call back

They were more concerned about the project then getting their money I like that in a contactor....I was out of town when the project was done and they told me to wait to pay them until I got home and inspected the work.... When I got home I noticed that they forgot one splash guard and I called them and they were out the next day to install it....good job... I would use them again

I met with Shannon and went over the installs and cost of the gutters. Shannon explained ever thing in a very Professional way to solved my drainage problem. Gutter Helmet did a great Job

Shannon Lennington came out and gave and estimate. Very professional and seems to know what he is doing. Gave a good presentation and while it seems a little high I haven't made up my mine as I wanted at least two estimates to compare apples to apples. He was not in a hurry and very quickly accessed what I needed. Showed me the product in the trunk of his car. I will definitely consider Gutter Helmet for my needs. We even examined my neighbors gutters and he pointed out some things that should of been done differently by another company. Looking for good quality at a competitive price to stay in line with my budget.

The installation was uneventful, and they left no mess when they left.

They installed seamless gutters around the house. Final day of installiation I mentioned I should have installed a rain barrel for my garden. They ordered one for me and came back today and installed. Very professional young men.

They were excellent, and everything went very well!

The is a quality company doing quality work. Family owned and run. They are backed-up 2 to 3 weeks but worth the wait. The gutters are the larger ones and they have an option to add built in covers so leaves will never get in again. Totally satisfied in every respect.

They were fantastic, they were excellent. There was something that wasn't quite right. We had a lot of rain after they were here and one of the gutters dripped a bit where they sealed it and so it didn't take. They came back out in a couple of days and made it perfect. They did a great job. I liked everything about it. They were prompt and on time, they were very professional, they left the property clean. They did everything right. I had a military discount but I knew before hand what the cost would be. The salesman laid everything out and also told me about discounts, so I was very pleased with what I got.

They made it so easy! The estimator arrived on time and offered a fair price. They were able to match the color perfectly! The work was performed as promised when it was promised.
