amorguard exteriors was hired to change a screen room to a sun room. it was their guy who was to do the official measurements. but while they measured for the windows, they blindly ignored the back door. when it was time for installation, Sam the installer said the door would not open to the outside as designed and installed it to open to the inside. this never worked because from the begining the door would not open all the way. it scrape and completely stop. it could be installed the correct way because the door hit the gutter. their mistake. they would buy a correct smaller door, so they went to Plan B which was to cut 2 inches off the bottom. now i have a door that looks inferior and just d*** odd. also Rick the sales manager is a LIAR! he will tell you anything just to get a sale. also if you simply want to talk to Kevin the owner, they will pass you around to every body in the building. i've never seen a more teflon owner. buyer beware and i am a customer!!!!!

They were on time, did nice work and cleaned up. The two guys who actually installed the gutters were awesome - but unfortunately I know that because the salesman and the production manager dropped the ball. Mike came out and gave the estimate, picked the color and scheduled the installation. A week later we decided that we wanted the color changed from the house color to the trim color. I called and Brian, the production manager, said no problem. When the guys came to install the gutters he said immediately, "I knew this was a mistake before I even got here. No one uses this color on a whole house. It's used for things like bright white sunrooms." He told me that Brian should have questioned the color choice when I called and that Mike should have come back out to get the correct color. I had used the color samples they left...but they were WAY off. So...for $3426, I think that's pretty lousy way to do business. Thank goodness for the install guys who were willing to help me get the right color put on!

Installation went great. We would have preferred a different color going down the sides, but we didn't pay for that initially, so that was our mistake. The installation went well, they showed up on time and did a good job installing the gutters, even where it was at the top of our two-story house. However after all the rain we had, I begin to see where some of the screws are protruding and starting to rust, also they didn't leave me enough room to put the runoff paver after telling me I needed to do that. The quality was so-so. The installation was great, and that's why I gave them a lesser score.

The work looked great. After cleaning the eixisting gutter they blew off the patio. Installed new gutters on the main house and the in-law cottage. Added drainage piping to allow flow of rainwater away from the house. Installed the rain barrels (though they said they don't normally do that). They also dropped an old phone line in order to get the gutter up (also not something they normally do). Everything looked great. About 3 weeks ago we noticed a bad leak in the gutter. We call and they came out and fixed it immediately! Awesome people to work with.

Unfortunately, this estimate did not go well. I have never posted a negative comment, but I felt compelled to do so in this instance. Gutter Helmet sent a rep out to my house to provide some advice on a gutter issue. There are gutters along the back of my house, but no gutters along the sides or front. One of the gutters was pulling away from the fascia. I hoped it could be repaired and/or replaced, but I also wanted an expert opinion as to what my gutter needs are for the entire house, as it is an old home and I just moved in a few weeks ago. The rep who came to the house was very professional and courteous. He asked me what I am looking to do in terms of gutters. I told him that I, at the very least, need to address the damaged portion of the existing gutters. I told him that he can also provide an estimate for the entire house, if he felt that was a pressing need. I was concerned that the front and sides of the house do not have any gutters at all. He drew up an estimate and gave a polished presentation. He told me that his recommendation was to completely replace the existing gutters, as they were in bad shape, and install new gutters around the entire perimeter of the house, along with their signature product, the gutter helmet. This was going to cost approximately $8,000. I was a little blown away at the price, so I asked why I need the gutters along the sides and the front. He said to prevent erosion. I thought that made sense, but I asked for an estimate for repair / replacement of the existing gutters only. He said that he would email that estimate over in a few days. Two weeks later, I still did not have the requested estimate for the repair and replacement of the existing gutters, so I sought out a few other opinions. Two different contractors came out to my house to give me an opinion on the same issue. Both of these contractors, who are independent of one another, gave me the same opinion. They both opined that I do not need gutters on the sides or front of the house; that I should remove the damaged portion of the gutter along the rear, as it was never properly installed; that I can repair some minor leaks myself along the good portion of existing gutter; and that I do not need to replace the damaged gutter, but instead just repair the damaged fascia and leave that portion without a gutter. As they explained, my house was built in 1939, and there is no real erosion risk. They each gave me an estimate to simply remove the damaged gutter and repair the damaged fascia. One estimate was for $750 and the other estimate was for $850. They told me that whoever recommended new gutters along the entire exterior of the house, at a cost of $8,000, was taking me for a ride. They could not believe that someone gave me that opinion at that cost. Needless to say, I have chosen to go with one of the other contractors to do the work, saving me over $7,000. I am convinced that the rep sent to my house was only interested in selling me the Gutter Helmet, whether I need it or not. As a layperson, I was seeking a professional opinion as to what my new home (new to me) needs in terms of gutters. I was sorely disappointed to learn that I was misled by Gutter Helmet of North Florida in that regard.

Everything went awesome. The sales rep was in-depth, nice, and professional. He went above and beyond and we are very impressed with the company.

I was happy with them. The gutters are much better now and very nice since it’s by the road.

They were prompt and courteous. The arrived on time and went thru my requests. My only problem was, that he had quoted me about 12 downspouts for the house. when finished, they had only put in 5 or 6 and I truly believe that there should have been more. I get huge downpours at certain corners where spouts should have been installed ( or so are my thoughts). Because the rains pour so hard, they pull all the leaves down to the corners and then they bunch up and prevent any other rains from going into the gutters. THUS heavy runoff at many corners over the tops of the gutters. The results are that the water splatters on the steps or ground below, splashing against the windows and doors, which causes rot. The leaves still to be removed on a regular basis to enable the openings to be free of debris. We don't have to pull the garbage from the inside of the gutters, but it still has to be removed from the heavy load areas. I really would like about 3-4 more downspouts to handle the heavier rains. I think now, after more than a year, I'd have to pay dearly to install more downspouts. If you read this, Kevin, please call me.

Generally, speaking, I felt a bit uncomfortable, as the sole focus was to sell the "deal" which clearly wasn't a deal at all. I just wanted to be done with it. Unfortunately, the salesperson was very persistent. I also had discussions regarding the minimum thickness of gutters I would accept yet, I was told that "down here, we use ------ which is sufficient". That was unacceptable, as the thickness or lack of it would impact on the long term durability.

Most things went as expected. The only complaint I have is that the crew that took my old gutters down did not clean up the area very well. While morning my lawn I hit a metal bracket which broke my lawn mower beyond repair. So, it costs me about $300.00 for a new mower.

They did a fantastic job. John, the sales rep, inspected the premises, explained the process, made suggestions and gave me quotes for partials or whole house. Did not feel pressured and the next day I decided to have the whole house done. On the day of the install they were very prompt, the installer walked me around the house to confirm the job to be done. They were finished before I expected and was very pleased with the final result. The installer walked me around the house once more to inspect the work. John came back that same day to look at the installation and to make sure I was satisfied with the service. Very courteous and professional.

When grate they were on time and did a grate job

Great. We just moved from Tallahassee FL and bought a new home and to our surprise gutters are not installed by default. Due to the size and slope of the yard our side\edging was getting washed out and messy when it rained. We called and within hours we got a call and that day or next Gutter Helmet came out for an estimate and were able to do the install that next day in less than 1 hour. Not only were they professional and courteous they accommodated our schedule and the end product matches perfectly. You can not even tell we have added gutters, they blend in that great!
