Description of Work: Two windows needed to be replaced. When installed we were given a 100% replacement guarantee from the manufacturer. However this manufacturer went out of business and this guarantee became worthless. American Windows, the vendor, split the cost of replacement with us. Not the ideal outcome but one which we could live with.

Description of Work: They actually recommended we go with glass replacement instead of window replacement. They provided a referral for the glass replacement. Not too many companies would refer away from their business even when in the best interest of the customer. I would definitely seek them out again when we need to actually replace the windows.

Description of Work: Installers arrived and replaced all of the windows in the house. After they left, you wouldn't have known they were even here. They did a beautiful job and had a shop vac that removed all of the saw dust, plaster dust, etc. I actually believe they left the areas cleaner than they found them.

Description of Work: I contacted the company and scheduled an appointment. Roger came out and estimated my job. He was very helpful on deciding on a window brand. He was very knowledgable. In the process of deciding on who to use, I talked to 5 vendors. Roger was the only one to give me a discount and tell me he wanted to earn my business. American Window was A rated on Angie's List. I like to do business with people who who have both a quality service and want my business. I'm scheduled to have my windows installed in January 2016. Thank you Roger Austin. You represent your company very well. The guarantee on my PGT windows is lifetime.

Description of Work: We had six aluminum framed windows replaced with vinyl low E glass windows. The sales rep took measurements and recommended a mid-grade window from a company that made the size that we needed. Installation process was excellent. I would have preferred foam around the windows, but they advised that it wasn't needed. Windows are of high quality;however, the screens have a less than perfect fit. Overall, though, the windows are excellent and we are very satisfied.
