very efficient, professional!

Arrived, did the work,were neat & everything looks great & works.

It took 4 days to schedule from date of purchase and today (the date of my appointment) the company calls and said they could not make it till next Monday. I have now requested a refund for the deal from Angie's List. This company didn't notify me that there was an issue till after my scheduled appointment time.

The technician was very knowledgeable and was able to quickly determine what the issue was and also educated me on a few things in the process.

They did a good job. The cost was one of Angie’s List specials. He was 5 out of 5. He seemed knowledgeable. He was dressed neatly. We could tell that he was part of a company. It had around the shirt. He gave us ID. He came in, did what he needed to do, and explained to us what he was doing and what we should expect. He did not waste a lot of our time talking about how beautiful the view it is here.

Overall, it went well. There were times when it was difficult to get in touch with the sales person to set up a definitive time on the day service was to be completed. With working during the weekdays, I needed a solid time in order to be there to let them in, although it ended up working out just fine. The plumber, Joey, was a great guy to work with. He was professional, completed the work the same day, and did a great job running the plumbing exactly how we had discussed. The sales person, John, could have been more clear that the additional cost of the water heater was not included in the original estimate, but they were still very competitively priced when compared to other quotes I received. This is the second time I've used them, and they did quality, professional work as always. I would recommend them for future jobs.

There were very professional and did a thorough inspection of our septic tank.

This was a new installation. He was very courteous and performed the job to our satisfaction. We are very happy with the installation and American Plumbing would be my first choice the next time we need a plumber.

I think they did fairly good job. I found them on Angie's list. They were very professional and I don't remember anything bad. I would recommend them.

I broke a pipe in the wall under my kitchen sink. I got the water shut off and the water cleaned up and started calling plumbers. Two of the top rated contractors said that they couldn't be there until the next day. I called American and they were out that afternoon and had it fixed in about an hour and even relocated the pipe some so that it wouldn't get broken again.

They arrived on time, it was raining so they covered their shoes with plastic covers. Fixed the drain and were finished in less than a hour.

The 2 workers arrived on time, were friendly, and completed the job in about a short period of time, removing the old sink and faucets, installing the new.

work was done well. the bill included a "trip charge" of $45.00. we have used probably 7-10 different services, this is the only one that charged this. needless to say this will be the only visit from this company..

The estimator, John Richard, stopped by , reviewed the job and gave me a quote. I explained to him that I wanted to tie in an existing whole house carbon filter to the water softener so that the water entering the house is first filtered to remove chlorine before it is softened. I also wanted to add a spigot for softened water to be used for washing cars. I currently have an existing spigot after the filter that I wanted to keep to access un-softened water. He thought it was a pretty straight forward job and recommended that I replace the pvc ball valves with brass valves. I agreed with his recommendation. On the scheduled day for installation, the crew showed up about an hour later than the scheduled time though they did call to let me know they were running late. After briefly talking with them, they went to work. On completion, they showed me the hook up and I had to point out to them that it was not installed as I had requested. They hooked it up so that the water line split and a portion of the water went through the carbon filter and the other went to the softener. The result was that chlorinated water would be coming into the house and bypassing the filter. When questioned about this, the plumber said that even with the carbon filter, I was not removing all the chlorine anyway and it should not be an issue. This defeats the main reason why people install whole house carbon filters. Having had similar setups in my previous homes, the way he had plumbed it made no sense. After discussing it with John Richard, he agreed to change the pipe configuration so that all the water going to the house was now passing through the carbon filter. Once complete, he reviewed the work with me prior to leaving. I have had no issues with the plumbing setup since they completed the job. All in all, they were very professional and listened to my concerns and remedied the problem. I was disappointed with the how the job progressed given that I fully explained to the estimator and plumber my desires on the setup. If I had not been home that day to review the results, they would have had to come back and make changes. By the way, I work in an industry that deals with water chemistry and filtration devices so I am fairly knowledgeable about water systems.

My husband replaced our kitchen sink (sink, faucet, garbage disposal) only to have a small leak upon completion. The next day, we realized our dishwasher was not draining. I called American Plumbing who was able to get someone out the next day at lunch time. The gentleman arrived a few minutes before our scheduled appointment and completed all repairs in under 30 minutes. As soon as h looked at the issue, he knew how to quickly resolve. He was extremly friendly and professional. We will definitely be using this company again.

After my 4th slab leak I decided it was time to do a whole house repipe. Did some research and decided to go with PEX piping. I called 5 different plumbing companies, 4 responded and I got written estimates from them. American Plumbing was not the lowest nor the highest and the written estimate they provided had the least details. So I called them back and inquired about this and was told they only provide a general description on the estimate unless the customer decides to go with them or they inquire, like I did. So I decide to go with them. The guys came on the date and time they said they would. Very professional, courteous and respectful. It took a total of 5 days, as quoted, and everything went smoothly. They did leave a bit of a mess in my attic. Excess pipes and pipe insulation and the attic insulation was moved off some spots and not put back. Overall I would recommend them and call them for any future plumbing needs.

the time they were suppose to come to my house no one show up no one called me. i called was told there was an emergency would be out set another time no one came. called again then was told it would be the next day. next day someone did come but was late. once got started OK. did not clean up after self i had to do it. the tech. was pleasant enough. what i would say to them to be more professorial and on time
