Service was prompt & professional. Technician cleaned the heating system and A/C compressor. He checked all electrical for any problems and checked the freon level. I'm sure he did lots that I did not follow. I am a McCall's customer ( they installed my current system & my previous system). I regularly use their semi-annual service. I just used this Angies List offer for the discount.

After working with a different company in the last few months, Air McCall was a breath of fresh air. After explaining my issue, the service technician took the time to actually diagnose the problem instead of a quick guess and showed me where the problem was occuring and the recommended repair. After the professionalism of the service staff, the office staff was also quick and expedient on getting my estimate to me and working with me on pricing to make sure I was getting the best deal. Excellent service. They were on time, professional and finished the job in the time frame they told me. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone needing honest A/C repairs and/or A/C replacement.

On time and very knowledgable and professional. It took him less than 5 minutes to diagnose the issues and had the parts available on his truck. The tech installed and monitored the unit. He explained that our unit was over 10 years old and that we would benefit in a new one. Gave us contact info to his office to have someone come out and give an estimate for a new unit. Very nice guy, quality fast work and we are cool as a cucumber. The only blemish was the cost. I felt it was a little high. But if you live in Florida you gotta have AC. Would definitely use them again.

We had our air conditioning stop blowing cold air a couple of days before; I set up the visit the following day and quickly got a confirmation from AirMcCall for an appointment the next morning. The technician arrived around the promised time. He quickly found the root cause of the issue, and replaced the offending part, setting things up in a more efficient configuration as he did. He then verified the A/C was running properly. All in all, this took less than an hour total. The price was a little higher than I expected (even with the Angie's List deal), but not excessively so, and that was solely parts cost - the labor charge was reasonable. The A/C hasn't given us a bit of trouble since. I would use this company again for issues with our HVAC system.

The air conditioner had stopped cooling so they added refrigerant. It works great now. They were there on time and worked quickly. They even explained the problem.

The technician showed up on time and did an excellent job in tuning up the ac units.

Work was successfully completed. The follow-up visit was delayed for several days due to the replacement part not ordered in advance of the scheduled work date. This however got special attention and was completed 3 days later.

Thomas showed up on time, and preformed the work as promised. He also took the time to tell us a part on the outside unit is going bad, but it wouldn't be covered under warranty until it actually does go out. Since we decided to wait, he informed us what we should do when it does go out. He also wrote the part number, and exactly what is going on the service sticker. The only "hiccup" to a perfect experience was that the company itself was a little late returning my original message(it was left during the 4th of July weekend) , but they quickly fixed the issue. Overall I will not hesitate to use this company again.

Technician was on time, polite, and knowledgeable. He took care of both the inside and outside unit and gave me some advice on maintaining the units, since we are new to Florida. I would use/call this Company again. #### Note: I'm a busy person and normally don't have time to write reviews. However, the email spam from " Angie's List" was at the point of harassment. Just easier to get it done and over with.

Great Experience. I purchased an older home and of course I was apprehensive about the system health, even though I passed the Home Inspection, i need the expert opinion. The technician was great. He was right on time, very professional and thorough. He explained everything in English - meaning he was patient and used simple language. I of course was expecting the worst and was waiting for the hard sell on upgrades or a new system I didn't need. That didn't happen, I am very pleased. I found my regular go-to company!

The service technician was excellent. Very pleasant and did a great job. He walked me through everything and why he was doing what he was doing. I choose Air McCall based on their reviews, and they were surely correct. I would certainly use them again.

Air McCall was very responsive and professional. They called me shortly after I purchased the coupon on Angie's List to schedule my appointment, I didn't even have to call them which was great. They scheduled my appointment for the very next day and the tech who came out was punctual and professional. He explained all parts of our unit and what to do to keep it operating efficiently and my husband and I were very pleased with the service. We have had no problems with the unit since.

Our technician Guy called and told us he was on the way to 30 minutes before our appointment, and arrived on time. Guy was very friendly and immediately went to work on our system. He was very familiar with our system, and performed routine maintenance as well as an in-depth inspection. Last year we had use another company who told us our AC lines were leaking and we needed lines installed. They charged us an extra $89 for a "shot" of FREON "top the system off". They also recommended completely replacing the AC lines (which are embedded in the foundation) by rerouting it's up the side of the house into the attic and down to the AC unit. Approximately cost $2400 plus parts. Guy found nothing wrong with the system as stated in his written report to us. This is the second time that Guy @ McCall has saved us from performing unneeded expensive repairs on an HVAC unit (he served as our technician at our mother's home) If you're going to use an HVAC company I strongly recommend air McCall

So far, it is the best AC services company I have dealt with in Jacksonville. The employee was very professional and quick. He explained the issue and how to avoid it in the future. I will use the company in the future.

Upstairs A/C was on the blink and it was HOT! Called and they scheduled in morning of 2nd day after call. Office called to confirm tech on way and that Angie List prepay deal was good. Tech arrived on time and went straight to work. He was very professional (Navy vet) and worked without my feeling the need to watch him. Wrote up invoice neatly and explained it. Was quick to fix it when he forgot to use the AL deal. Was responsive with pricing for my question about maintenance deal, but did not try to upsell. We will be doing the maintenance deal with them, moving from a highly advertised provider. We are very pleased with our experience.

I bought an Angie's List Deal, Air McCall contacted me immediately and scheduled an appointment for a tech to come out. I was able to get an appointment right away. When the tech came out, he was here for a very, very long time. He seemed to be doing a thorough job, but also kept coming downstairs to show me more things that could be wrong with my unit. I kind of had the impression he was delighting in finding things to add-on. He was here for over 2 1/2 hours. I have a young child and found him being here and requesting I go up and down with him into the attic and outside pretty exhausting. He was also very chatty. I am fine with some chit chat, but felt it was excessive. He did not pick up on the fact that I was taking care of my infant and didn't desire a long chit chat. Anyway, I declined any additional services while he was here and asked for an estimate. He gave me a service invoice and told me that someone from Air McCall's home office would call me and tell me how much it would cost for all the things he said my unit needed. Some things he said were needed were: a part for a motor, a clean-out of my units and fans (due to "microbial growth") $800 each, two $1000 UV light filtration units, a duct cleaning and sanitizing. As you can see, my head was spinning. After he left, I never heard back from the home office with the real estimates. I was busy and let several weeks go by without thinking about them or receiving a call. I finally called them 3 weeks ago and asked what the quotes would be (I was more interested in the part that was needed but was curious about the duct/ fan cleaning). I was told by the office that someone would need to call me back with estimates for everything. To date, I have never been contacted. Again, I placed my call about 3 weeks ago. Both my units have been running fine. So either the tech really was trying to run up my bill or the communication in the Air McCall office is very poor. Either way, I won't be using them again.
