It went great! My electric bill is much more reasonable. and the house seems to be much cooler.

I was having issues with leaks in my garage and low performance, but the tech did a great job flushing out the line that went from the main unit to the garage. After this service the leaking stopped and the AC has worked much better.

I purchased the $59.00 comprehensive central a/c inspection service from Air McCall. During the initial call back to schedule the service, I was asked if there was anything going on with my unit I wanted to address. I replied yes and made them aware of some trouble I was having with my outdoor unit fan cutting off, and having to flip the thermostat off and on several times to get the fan to engage again. When the fan shutoff would happen, no cool/cold air would be circulating in the house only fan air from the indoor air handler. Guy (no last name) Service Tech arrived on time, and I restated my concerns with the fan disengaging again to him prior to him inspecting the unit. He inspected the unit and said he could not find anything wrong that everything checked out fine but then suggested that a new motor (although he did not find anything wrong with the current one) would fix the problem. In the meantime, the same problem with the fan disengaging in the outdoor unit kept resurfacing and the temperature inside the house would rise sometimes as high as 87 degrees before I could get it to switch on again. I received a call back with an estimate for a replacement motor and by this time, I am frustrated, hot and bothered. Therefore, I agreed to have the motor replaced at a cost of $391.00. However, replacing the motor DID NOT fix the fan problem either. So, now after close to 3-weeks (in this June heat) of me explaining the same problem repeatedly, finally, on the FOURTH service tech visit the tech actually found a bad contact switch on the outdoor unit that was causing the issue. So, with the initial $59 inspection charge plus $391.00 for a motor I DID NOT need I ended up paying out $450.00 dollars for what typically would have cost around $200.00 dollars give or take. Grossly overcharged! but otherwise the unit appears to be running fine.

Experience was good, the guy that was sent was a little unprofessional but polite.

The technician found my drain line plugged and found that painters had recently broken the line outside. He repaired it in no time.

They were courteous and professional. We appreciated them coming out so promptly and helping as it was a holiday weekend and they were short on staff. We asked about their maintenance agreement and what they entailed. Felt it a little pricey and we would think about it.

Arrived on time and completed the spring service. All recommendations were clearly explained.

It went well. I have an old system, but the technician wanted to give me the best advice about maintaining what I have. He did not try to twist my arm into buying a new system.

This was an extensive upgrade of our a/c system, so the total project spanned about a week, which gave us numerous opportunities to communicate with several employees, both on the phone and in person. At all times, they were professional, polite and obviously dedicated to doing a quality job and having satisfied customers. During the testing of the system, there was a problem with the air-flow in a couple of the bedrooms -- the problem turned out to be difficult to isolate, an engineering issue on one of the duct system boxes. The worker was at our house late into the evening, and an engineering consultant was called that same evening, who eventually determined the solution after the easier fixes had been exhausted and had not resolved the problem. We were very impressed with the persistence of everyone involved in trying to get everything working properly as quickly as possible. Removal of the old ductwork was a lot of hard work with so much old material that it completely filled our driveway, but by the end of the workday, everything was picked up and clean. When they gave a time that they would arrive, they were always prompt (sometimes even early!) Every phone call was answered right away or returned with very little delay. We had a minor complaint about the "tidiness" of the electrical subcontractor, which we voiced to Rob at AirMcall (our main contact throughout the project). Rob was immediately apologetic, thanked us for sharing the feedback, offered to rectify the problem, which was not necessary as we had already cleaned up after the electrical contractor. We were impressed with the fact that he took our small complaint seriously and didn't just try to make excuses or downplay it. After the project was complete, Rob provided me all the paperwork necessary to request a credit from Clay Electric, for both the a/c and the insulation, which was really helpful. This project was completed in mid February 2015. In the beginning of May, we noticed a strange sound coming from the outside unit. We called Air McCall who sent someone out the very next day -- they found a bearing that was throwing the fan blade off balance and causing the noise. They ordered the part and it was replaced two days later with no other issues since. We had gotten two other quotes besides AirMcCall's before deciding to use them for the project. They were in the middle range for price, but the system they offered seemed of better quality and we liked that they were able to handle the insulation/electrical for us as well. We also were impressed with their Angie's list reviews, which was definitely a factor for our final decision to hire them. We couldn't have hoped for a more pleasant experience and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and reputable heating & air conditioning company.

I purchased the AC Tune-Up/Inspection deal on May 24, 2015 but had difficulty getting in touch with the right person at Air McCall until later in the week. They were very considerate and apologetic once communication was established and service was scheduled on 6/2 between 2 and 4:30pm. I never received a phone call but after contacting Air McCall through Angie's List I was informed promptly that the technician was on their way. Courtney arrived around 5pm and he was very friendly and courteous. I was informed that the deal I purchased was for one unit but they would honor the $59 price for the second unit for a savings of $20 according to the invoice and stated that two capacitors were running low voltage at 5.4 and 6.8 of 7.5. He recommended both be replaced at $56 each. I agreed and after he was finished work paid the balance due. Communication throughout the scheduling process until the technician arrived wasn't the best, but I was informed they were down a person this week so I am confident my experience in that regard is not the standard (unless they're always down a person, which I doubt) so I am rating a C instead of lower in that category. Courtney recommended yearly service and I plan on using Air McCall again in 2016.

Service was good, technician was on time and did a good job. I would recommend this company to my friends.

No hidden charges or attempts to pressure me into further services beyond the checkup. This was an advertised special and I was very pleased with "as advertised" service. I would definitely call this company if I have real mechanical difficulties.

Air conditioner wasn't working and AirMcCall came out same day and replaced the float switch that was stuck. Great experience and would recommend them.

System was not cooling house. Technician troubleshoot the system and found leak. Freon was added and future repair to stop leak is scheduled.

My experience with them has always been good but it turned out when I called them I haven't used them for years. The company that was great three years ago may not be as good...if they were still in Angie's List the people may still be giving them good reviews. He came here twice because he didn't have the part needed for the repair but he did come out couple of days later because it was not really functioning at all. It was relatively good that they...it wasn't working but it didn't last a long time. I've used them multiple times and they've always been good.

Tech called ahead , was prompt and explained everything to me. Very good company and happy with the service.

He checked my unit and advised me that it needed replacing.I wasn't sure at that time if I wanted to replace it or not so I had him refill the AC unit with refrigerant.He was on time and honest.

Painless process! Tech came out to do an inspection - on time, efficient and knowledgeable. Provided us options from inexpensive (adding Freon) to a high efficiency system. After we decided how we wanted to go, they quickly scheduled the installation. It was again a good experience - technicians on time, efficient and knowledgeable. They made what could have been a painful process very painless.

Initially, we called Air McCall to look at our heat pump to see why the heat strips were being used constantly. The technician did not get it right, as we later discovered. However, one phone call to the service manager, Johnathan, and he rectified the situation immediately. We later called to get an estimate for replacing the HVAC. Toby was prompt and professional. He provided a very detailed estimate, and took the time to explain what and how it was going to be done. We ended up not going with Air Mcall, but feel that it was basically a coin flip. We will definitely call Air McCall in the future for any HVAC needs.

It was just basic service. Nothing technical was needed.
