A&C Carpet Cleaning

The service member arrived 1 hour late. I did receive a phone call that he would be late, but 1 hour is a long time. When he arrived, it took a good 20 minutes to get his supplies in order and get his machinery working- which was having trouble. He then cleaned my carpets, but I do not feel that he did a very thorough job. He mentioned once that he was taking his time -so my friends could arrive to help move my furniture-, but hurrying because he had another appointment to get to. I feel this wasn't fair as I had a three hour appointment, and he only had 1.5 hours in which to do the work. In the end, he was gracious about not charging extra for a larger room, but my carpets still have stains and shadows in the high traffic areas. He also didn't have enough foam blocks for all of my furniture, so some had to be put right down onto the wet carpet. I may have to get another carpet cleaner in to finish the work.

I had called a carpet company that I normally use and received no response back. I received Travis and Emily Pepperkorn's number from a co-worker, so I called them. Emily offered to get a tech out either that day or the following day for me. I chose the next day. The tech called 20 minutes before he arrived, so my husband could meet him at the condo. He measured the condo and provided a written estimate. He cleaned the carpets and was very friendly and professional. He advised to stay off the carpets for at least 4 hours and was on his way. We went back to the unit the next day to see the carpets and they are beautiful. He was able to get all of the stains and foot traffic dirt. They charged $.20/sq. foot for a routine cleaning and that was 1/2 of what other places charged. I would tell everyone to use this company.

They came out and gave us an estimate and later came and did the work. I thought it would work out well but the spots seemed to be reappearing and looked worse than before they had come. I called them about a big spot that kept reappearing (the smaller ones they told me they couldn't help), and they came back to work on that one spot. This big spot was taken care of well, but for whatever reason, that seemed to intensify more spots, and they actually came back a third time to redo the whole thing. Also what dissapointed me was that I wanted the blocks under the furniture after he was finished, and I had to ask them not to put the furniture on the wet carpet. Their attitude was good, but I had to ask them to do many things. There also was a spot near my treadmill that I had to remind them to do. I appreciated that they came back so many times but I was dissatisfied with the quality of the work.

Jackie came out and gave us an estimate for cleaning our wall-to-wall carpeting and shag area rug. He was professional and knowledgeable. We hired A&C based on Anglie's List ratings and our meeting with Jackie. The work was performed brilliantly and Jackie even removed stains from a white sofa so we don't need to buy a new one! We also hired A&C to clean the dirty carpets and ceramic tile at my uncle's home. The carpets and tile look like new. Job well done!

I received a phone call to tell me they were on their way. The technicians were on time, polite and professional. Before they started working, they told me how much both pieces would cost to clean. They were also careful to check how to clean the pieces. Since the sofa didn't have a tag, they erred on the side of caution and dry cleaned it. I appreciated that. Both pieces were cleaned and look much better than before. I am very pleased with the service I received from A & C and will definitely use them again.

We recently purchased our home and the carpet looked great when we first moved in. The previous owners apparently had a very basic surface cleaning done which looks good at first until the deep down dirt resurfaces. The carpet was filthy. Jackie did a very good job getting our carpet clean. The company provides a two week guarantee. Some of the stains resurfaced so we called them back out. They were very responsive but unfortunately unable to get all the spots out due to the negligence of the previous owners. The carpet overall looks great. I would definitely use them in the future for any carpet cleaning needs and would certainly recommend them to family and friends. We plan to have them clean the vinyl areas of our floors also.

They came out on March 10th and did a great job for a very good price. They gave us a discount because we originally found them on Angie's List.

The main reason we had them out was to clean the furniture. They did a nice job. We were satisfied. The oriental rugs look pretty good considering what they had gone through in their life. We didn't compare prices. We kind of thought it was high but apparently that is the going rate. Their price was reasonable for what we had going here. They were quite accommodating where there were certain things they could not do after they started the job and they didn't charge us for that at all. We would use them again. The quality was excellent and they were very good on responsiveness. They were out within a day or so and they were on time. They were very professional.

A & C Carpet cleaning is the best carpet cleaners by far that I have ever had come to my home. They did the most amazing job getting my carpets and tile clean. They were professional and polite. They gave me an estimate that was very reasonable for the amount of work that they were doing. I couldn't be happier with the service that I received.

Travis was prompt, very efficient, and did an excellent job. The carpet in the living room had not been cleaned in seven years and was heavily soiled with one stain. He got it all out and my carpets look like new again. Would recommend him in a heartbeat.

The rugs and leather furniture look great. Most of the upholstered furniture looks great too. I have 2 antique chairs they cleaned as best they could and, other a couple of areas, they look good. They had to be very gentle with these 2 pieces because they are covered in a silk material. The tile grout is remarkable. They worked really h****** this to get it clean. Most areas came out beautifully. A few darker areas here and there but, in contrast to what it did look like before cleaning (scrubbing!), we are thrilled with the difference. Two very professional and congenial employees worked really hard and long. I will definitely use this company again.

Jackie arrived on time and was very professional. He was finished in the estimated time and the newly cleaned carpets and sofa looked very good. The stains were removed and have not returned. We received a bottle of spot remover for future stains. We will definitely use A&C again.

We spent about $150 on that service. We went with them based on the recommendations on the list and it went very well. When Rita was a puppy she must have found a spot in our son?s bedroom that she found very useful and continued to use it. I had done everything, but I could not get the smell out and they got it out. We used them while my son was away at camp and did a great job. They did exactly what they said they would. They said that they would come back if we needed them to, free of charge, but to give it 2 weeks to work. They were right, it took about two weeks and the smell was gone.

Very professional. The technician showed up on time and provided an estimate that was within our price range. He did a great job with the carpets and paid special attention to areas that needed it. You can definitely tell the difference! I would highly recommend this company.

They did a great job as well as advising us on how to care for the items moving forward. We would highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.

When I first moved in, the first thing I noted was how dirty the carpets were, and knew that I'd need to have them professionally cleaned. When I spilled a huge jar of milk on said already dirty carpet, I freaked out for a few hours before sending an email at 10 at night asking for help. I got a response less than 9.5 hours later, letting me know they could be out the next afternoon, and giving me instructions as to how to handle the milk mess until they arrived. I followed their directions and they showed up an hour ahead of scheduled (but certainly called first, assuring that it would be alright with me) and got to work. It didn't take long at all. There were a few stains that just would not come up (things that actually dyed the fibers, as opposed to just staining them), but the carpet itself looked a million times better than it once had. I noticed a few hours after he left that there was still an odor and slight residue at the spot where I had spilled the milk, so I contacted them again when I noticed to see if anything could be done. They responded like lightning and said they could retreat the spot, and to pass along a time that would be best for me. They were incredibly patient when I took days to respond due to my circus of a life, and when I did finally respond, I again received an answer in less than a day's time (I LOVE that). This last time, I received a call; he said he was going to be late. It was only 2:30, and he was 35-40 minutes away, and my quote time was between 2-4. So he wasn't really at all going to be late, but the fact that he called just to tell me he was running behind really shows their level of professionalism and respect for the customer. Now, there is still a faint smell left on the carpet, but I think that's just the nature of the beast. What matters is that I can't smell sour milk when I walk in my house anymore, and there isn't an odd residue under my feet when I walk on my carpet! I will remember this company next time I spill something or hear my friends complain about their dirty carpets!

Jackie showed up on time and after looking over the house gave me a price. It was higher that the price I was quoted on the phone but he honored the original quote without question. He spent additional time on the difficult areas and the carpets looked almost new when he was finished. I would recomend this company to anyone.

They did a very good job. I will definitely use them in the future.

I used a coupon and it was as advertised. It was very, very affordable. I was extremely happy with them. I've used other carpet cleaners and they got it a heck of a lot cleaner. They were very responsive and showed up 5 or 10 minutes early.

They did an awesome job. They cleaned carpet in one of our rental properties. They made the carpet look better than it did before the previous renters moved in. They also romoved stains that we thought would never come out. They are teh best carpet cleaners we have used to date. We willl use them again in the future.

Good customer service ... and good service technician. I give them a B overall because price was more than quoted over the phone and there was a transportation charge. I would typically think that cleaning stains and transportation are built into the price quote and not on top of regular charges. Oh, and not a huge deal for me, but they do NOT move furniture. They did remove pretty tough stains, but some stuff didn't come out.

The home we bought in Jacksonville had extremely dirty carpets throughout. There were not only had stains and animal stains, but the carpets stank. We were sure that we would have to replace everything. We decided to have the carpets professionally cleaned to see if we could delay the purchase of all new floors. Travis and Jackie were on time and went immediately to work. When they had finished, the carpets looked brand new and the smells were gone (not replaced by chemicals or covered up by sweet-smelling deodorizers.) We could not be happier. Now, if and when, we put in new floors, it will be a choice and not a necessity.
