Tom was unable to get in my price range, which was pretty low to start with. But he did recommend another alternative, gave me advice and things to look out for and provided links to the services. All this wihout making a dime. Tom is awesome an you better believe he's got my business next time I have computer issues! Thanks, Tom!!

Tom was able to fit my computers into his busy schedule. He had to find a part for the desk top and came back 2 days later to install this part and get the computer working.

Tom came, worked on the system and now everything is fine. As always he was punctual, professional, explained everything in terms we could understand and solved a problem that baffled us.

As stated previously, Tom always showed up promptly, completed his tasks in a timely manner, and at a very reasonable fee. I have used him at my home and was extremely pleased which is why I used hired him for work at my business as well. I would whole heartedly recommend Tom and CPR for any computer related work he is comfortable doing. The computer service this business had used previoulsy was not near as responsive, or skilled, and cost considerably more than Tom.

The problem on the first computer (failure to boot) was resolved before Tom worked on the computer. However, he did install software that picked up some malware that may have caused the original problem. He recommended we purchase and install that software on our other computers. The problem on the second computer was also a failure to boot problem that required more detailed diagnostics. He found the hard drive to be corrupted and suggested that it would need to be replaced. He could not immediately retrieve data from the drive, but offered to take it with him and try some more sophisticated tools. Rather than pay for that additional service right away, we got a second opinion from Dell online support which essentially validated Tom's findings. Tom was very upfront about the fact that he had not dealt with a drive with the type of drive encryption we had and so after confirming his diagnosis about the drive we brought it to someone who had the type of experience needed with the encryption. In all of our dealings, Tom was very honest about what he could and might not be able to do, and his prices were very fair. What he did do for us was very competently completed.

My daughter spilled a soda on my laptop keyboard. Several keys stopped working. I waited to have it repaired due to a transatlantic move. I consulted Angie's List and saw that Tom was highly rated. I e-mailed Tom and got a very quick response. Despite being under a tight deadline, Tom picked up my laptop, ordered the replacement part rush delivery and got it fixed in time for my business trip.

I had purchased a complex and rather large computer 5 years ago. It had been serviced about 6 times during that six years requiring 2 power supplies, 4 fans, and 3 hard drives.In July I started a Doctoral program and unfortunately my computer stopped working again. I called Tom, who came within 24 hours and took the 100 lb CPU to his shop for repair. 3 days later he called to say that although it might be fixable (needing a power supply and motherboard, it may not be worth the expense. Tom said that he could find a new computer, with updated wiring(sata) and less complex, easier to fix for under a $1000. Having spent $5000 on the original, I was skeptical but interested and told him to do it. Tom said to have patience as finding the right computer takes time. Tom called every 2 weeks to let me know that he hadn't forgot about me for the next 5 weeks. Last week he called to say that he had found the computer and was transferring my data. All was done and the new computer was delivered, and installed. Tom took the time not only to answer my questions but to show me the new programs he had installed to keep the my thesis safe and recoverable. I am amazed at his knowledge base and his generosity in sharing his time, expertise while keeping the information understandable. Tom's honesty and no frills attitude is refreshing and he instills a rare confidence that makes you a customer for life. I would recommend him with five stars!

This is the 2nd time I have used CPR. 1st time was more than a year ago. About a month ago our computer came down with something.....bad virus maybe. I was ready to buy a new computer as this tower is about 7 years old. My husband mentioned the computer issue to our neighbor who works with computers for a large company. He offered to take a look at it. He took it to work and pretty much put everything back to the way it was in the beginning which was a good thing. However, when he returned the computer, it had no sound. Asked the neighbor why and he couldn't come up with a remedy. Rather than buy a new computer right now, we called Tom. He came out today and after some heavy-duty research found there was something with a sound card that had been installed at some point. It took a lot of effort to track down the information so he would know what to do. We now have sound for upcoming football games....my husband will be soooo happy. Bottom line is....we should have called Tom right away instead of letting a neighbor try to fix it. Had to call Tom anyway and we wouldn't have been without sound this long. Tom wasn't going to give up until he found the problem. Probably won't have this one fixed again, but we will call Tom to purchase, or at least install a new one. Tom is super thorough and makes sure it's done right. Super cudos for a job well done!

As always, Tom not only installed the printer but made sure that I understood how everything was configured. I appreciate Tom's deep knowledge of computers and, when faced with obstacles, he always finds a way to solve the problem and get everything to work.

Once again Tom saved the day. One of our employees at the end of business the day before change something on accident in our server. Tom was right on top of it and fixed the problem remotely at 7:30 in the morning before we opened. Without this fix we could not access our reports and would have had the office at a stand still.

Tom has been to our office several times to work on our computer network. We have tried several other companies only to have constant problems after their work was done. Once Tom came on board he fixed the immediate problems and made suggestions for a more efficient and updated system. He did not try to sell us anything we did not need and listen to our concerns as well. We are a small family owned company and with Tom we were able to do what we wanted in small steps to make it more affordable for us. He has completely re-worked our system and it works now better than ever. Tom is always available by phone when ever I need him and very responsive to our requests.

All 3 computers are working well and running at top-notch speed. I feel more knowlegable about how to keep my information safe as I interact with the web. Tom has a wealth of "know-how" that comes from experience.

I called Tom of Computer Problem Resolutions and he drove to my home that afternoon. He knew exactly how to fix the problem. He tweaked out other issues my computer had to improve performance. He installed some very good free virus protection programs and now I'm writing this report using my improved computer!

I contacted Tom on a Thursday June 30. We set up a time to meet on Friday July 1. He came to my office - performed the repairs. Tom wasn't happy with the fact that all the malware was not completely eradicated. He took my laptop and came back on Tuesday July 5. Everything was working properly, my computer is as fast now as it was when it was new. I can't tell you how happy I am with his work. The fee was very fair as well. I figured the fee would be at least twice as much based on experience with other computer service providers in the area. He was very attentive to all the details and I am a happy customer. It was overall a good experience. He is very knowledgable about computers and viruses and explained them in simple terms for the uninitiated. I would use him again to fix computer problems and for purchasing new computers. I would highly recommend him to others.

Tom did a great job handling my previous computer issues. So I called him today when I suspected a computer virus. He called me back quickly, and asked me to describe the problem. He said I needed to correct the problem right away because the damage would get worse. He explained how I could fix things myself right away, because he couldn't respond immediately in person unless the workaround failed, which luckily did not happen. I followed his instructions and everything worked fine. No more virus, and apparently no damage to my computer. I very much appreciate Tom's expertise.

These remarks unabashedly sing the praises of Tom and CPR. Before we first began to use his services our computers were both a pleasure and nightmare for us. He requested Tom visit us in order to assess and diagnose a malfunction which surfaced after a violent thunder and lightning storm shut his pc down. Tom spent fifteen minutes on the phone with him, suggested a fix which worked immediately and perfectly and then refused any payment. The savings in time and stress, Tom saved him are incalculable. CPR is a true find and our computers are now valuable tools that we use without the constant worry that they will break down.
