Description of Work: I CALLED TOM, WHO HAD PROFORMED REPAIRS FOR ME IN THE PAST. I HAD A VIRUS AND HE WAS TOO BUSY TO GET TO ME FOR A WEEK OR SO. HE TOLD ME WHAT PROCEDURE TO GO THROUGH THAT MIGHT FIX IT. WE DID AS HE SUGESTED AND IT WORKED. HE DIDN'T HAVE TO DO THIS, BUT THATS THE KIND OF GUY HE IS. HE WILL TRY TO HELP YOU AS SOON AS HE CAN ANY WAY HE CAN. I HAVE ALWAYS GOTTEN GOOD INFORMATION FROM HIM EVEN IN AREAS HE WAS NOT HERE TO REPAIR. LARRY HUNTER

Description of Work: Hard drive crashed. Had him replace the hard drive. Excellent service, picked up the computer at my home and brought it back far better than it was before. Went way above and beyond my expectations. He cleaned up the entire hard drive, reloaded all the software and restored all data.

Description of Work: Tom restored sound and printing capability on my computer, cleaned out bugs, errors, and old programs. My computer now runs great!! When I have another problem I can't fix...I'll call Tom!

Description of Work: I am new to the area and was very lucky to find Tom, he did a great job at addressing the problem. Tom came quite a distance and I certainly appreciate it. We had a problem and Tom made it right with no question asked. I would highly recommend him to anyone with a computer problem.

Description of Work: Tom responded to my call to set up new computers and network in my home. He transferred files from two computers to two new computers, set up two network printers and all the related work required to get us back on the internet, email (two different programs), etc. He also did complete security checks of all the old computers with software he provided. Tom was informative and took all the time needed to inform me of what he was doing and why. Thanks, Tom

Description of Work: He is so thorough that he even comes with software programs that usually are quick to install and helpful to protect my home desktop computer. He explains details so that I can understand them. Appointments can be set up within a week's time. I asked if he offers "maintenance" contracts because I would definitely sign up but the business is not that big yet.

Description of Work: I consider this service truly excellent in all respects as indicated above. Not only was the desired service provided but it was an excellent learning experience for me as well. I strongly recommend CPR to anyone with a computer/internet problem.

Description of Work: Cost shown was for two service calls. Tom diagnosed a video card problem and checked out a second computer on his first visit. Then he installed a video card and checked out a malfunctioning monitor on his second visit. He also tweaked the computer settings for more efficient functioning. Tom offered alternatives to fixing our computer including advising me that I could call Dell for service. He is a knowledgeable, honest professional. I would not hesitate to call on him again or refer him to other people.

Description of Work: Installed system to enable Verizon wi-fi allover the house. Verizon unit is at other end of the house from where I needed download of DVD information & laptop wifi access. He came up with an excellent fix and equipment was included in the price.

Description of Work: We needed software cleaning-up on our computer and Tom was the man!! He was punctual, knowledgeable, and pleasant. Stress-free experience and our computer's great !!!

Description of Work: I run a small medical research company and I had a computer failure of my laptop at the beginning of labor day weekend....i got tom harden's name from angies list and i was able to meet with tom on labor day...(even though it was a holiday) -- at which time he diagnosed my problem as a hard drive failure. During the following week he was able to help me procure another laptop (at a very reasonable price), and -- more importantly -- he was able to restore the large majority of files from my damaged hard drive and from my external hard drive backup (which he also discovered had flaws). Basically, he saved my research and my company from a major meltdown. It was obvious that he put in a lot of time and effort and attention to detail. He communicated frequently with me with regard to the the progress he was making in restoring my files and putting them all back in order on my new laptop. Tom is extremely knowledgeable and -- as far as possible -- is dedicated to making things right. The cost of his service is more than reasonable. (It included the cost of a new laptop as well as the work on file restoration). I would continue to use him again in a heartbeat!

Description of Work: Tom came over and helped us clean up our computer all the while teaching us what he was doing. He added memory and also advised about different functions. We will continue to work with him to learn how to get the most out of our computer.

Description of Work: Computer was completely inoperable due to some spyware I had picked up, thought it was a virus because my wallpaper was replaced with a green WARNING screen that wanted me to pay money to some site that regarded itself as microsoft, it even had their patented symbol. Tom said he was booked up for a couple of days, however a job finished up early and he came by the same day I called, he was at my home about 2 hours and fixed my problems (with my laptoop anyway :-) ).

Description of Work: My computer has a malware problem. Could not restore to earlier dates. Internet Explorer was constantly crashing. The owner of CPR, Tom came on site to my home and after evaluation of the problems, we both decided that the only option was to restore the operating system as it was when the computer was new. Tom was very through, concerned that all possible data was backed up prior to restore. After the restore, Tom loaded all the files and folders so I was able to work with this computer again.

Description of Work: My hard drive crashed. I bought a new hard drive but could not get it to work. Came to my house and tired to get it working. He had trouble so he took the computer to work on the problem. Returned and hooked up my system, including the wi-fi.

Description of Work: I had a major problem with malware and/or a virus. Tom Hernden came out, picked up my machine and repaired it. He brought it back on time, and went over in great detail what he did, and what I needed to do in the future to prevent this from happening again.
