Description of Work: Needed broken spring replaced. Technician arrived within hours of call. Cost was a little more than I expected a garage door spring replacement would cost. Rated them 'C' on Responsiveness because I requested that they provide me a quote to replace the seal along the bottom edge of the garage door and never heard from them. I would certainly use this company again.

Description of Work: Instead of just a general service call I ended up doing a complete update of my garage door system. After 13 years it was time to replace the main working parts and upgrade the system. The door itself was in good working order. I was given credit for the original service that I signed up for on the Angie's list website and given a discount for my membership for the additional services.

Description of Work: They showed up to do a basic fix that I purchased through Angie's List, but I really wanted them to do more than that and renovate the mechanisms more. They changed out the springs and rollers completely, upgrading to parts that should never wear out. It moves more smoothly now. I wanted it to go faster, but apparently there is actually a Florida law that limits the speed of garage doors. It's a little quieter, as quiet as a chain drive can get. I will upgrade that in the future, especially if I can get a deal through Precision. The technician who came out was clean, well-spoken, fast, punctual (early actually due to a cancellation), and knew his stuff.

Description of Work: Adjusted spring, extensive weatherstripping.also lubricated rollers. I was told not to lubricate the tracks which I already had done. I was disappointed the technician did not try to clear the tracks of my lubricants.

Description of Work: The base of the garage door was sticking to the floor. I thought the door needed to be readjusted. It turned out that the new weather stripping was heating up due to the Sun. No adjustment was necessary. Technician tried to get me to pay $20 for service call. I reminded him I paid extra for a lifetime warranty.

Description of Work: The spring of my garage door rusted thru and snapped. They came to the house and replaced the spring as well as re-ran the cables on the door and lubricated the door. It works great now and is so much more quiet.

Description of Work: I purchased a garage-door check-up through Angie's List, knowing I wanted more than that. They arrived - ahead of schedule due to a cancellation, having called ahead to make sure it was okay that they were early - and I could tell the young guy was professional and hardworking and straight up, in addition to the very positive reviews on AL. So I went ahead and upgraded to replace the key parts of my garage door with items that would never corrode, which is important when you're 0.5km from the ocean. It was a little pricey but needed to happen. I'll probably go with Precision when I want to replace the drive mechanism and/or do some other repairs.

Description of Work: They replaced my garage door lift. They were very up front and honest and the work was done right away. They put a door and lift in for my mother 2 years ago and they were fair with her too. That is why I called them to take care of my lift. I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: I called Precision Garage Doors because my door came off it's track when a roller popped off. Their technician, Rob, came out within a few hours and did a thorough evaluation of all the moving parts before explaining his findings and my options. He was very knowledgable and had ready answers to my questions. I chose to have all the moving parts replaced since they were at the end of their useful life and received a discount for that package of services. I was very pleased with the function of the door after the repair - especially how quietly it operates. I will definitely use this company again and recommend them to others.

Description of Work: Installed newtension springs, overhead lifts, pully system, bearings, keypad outside, indoor controls & car remotes for 2 garage doors. I called them to repair a tension spring & they had completed all the above work by the next day.
