Precision Garage Door Service

I called for the $99.00 special . Billy came out and performed this task as well as putting new nylon glides on double garage door. A few weeks later the pulley belt snapped and broke in half. Since the metal support needed to be replaced along with the pully, the cost was more than $300.00. No brainer - buy a new system for $650.00. - new motor, new control panel, new light sensor, etc. Billy installed the system and adjusted the door so it does not bang when closing. Guess what, it still bangs!! Also, the security light on the motor comes on all by itself. No one - not even the company. - can tell me why? I am not totally pleased with the performance of this door. I also needed to buy new small remotes since the old ones do not work. After paying $25.00 service fee, the new motor cannot be programmed to work with the BMW HomeLink. I have had Garage Door Openers for almost 50 years and none of them have been as problematic. I would not buy another Liftmaster! Would I call Precision again? Probably not!

The job was done perfectly by Rob...ask for him if he is available. My garage overhead door is large and heavy, and it has never worked better since he came to service it. If he can't come reschedule your service call.

He went over everything with us and showed us what to watch for on the garage door and explained that it wasn’t time to replace any parts. He cleaned and oiled everything and made sure that it was opening correctly. He also showed us how to reprogram the garage door opener. What impressed me the most is that he was very, very honest and didn’t try to make business for himself just because he could (because of our lack of experience). He was very friendly and very personable and called us to let us know when he was on the way.

They came out today & said that unfortunately the door is too old & they can’t do anything for it. They recommended I contact Angie's List for a refund. They did really well while they were here though & explained why they couldn't do the work. Apparently there are no parts available for this type of door anymore. They also gave me an estimate on an upgrade to the door to bring it to code for hurricanes.

My garage door is 8 years old and stopped working and because of its age I just ordered a new one. From the time I called and until it was installed the service has been excellent and all people involved were very knowledeable in helping me replace it was the right new unit. Dennis helped me with final choices and did a great installation with wall units/and handheld sensors. This Liftmaster is so much better than my Quantam unit.

the work went smoothly, without any need for me to watch what was being done. serviceman explained what he had done and showed me how to properly maintain the unit.

Neil was the gentleman who took care of us. He is knowledgeable and willing to make his customers happy. Professional and we let all our neighbors know how well we were treated. Our door is so quiet now. I was really impressed with how easy Precision handled the entire process.

I called several companies and Precision answered their phones very professionally and scheduled a service call within the day. Dennis arrived promptly as scheduled, inspected the door and made recommendations for replacing some other parts that were worn. Since my budget would not allow everything to be done, he replaced the spring and made sure the rollers were lubricated and working well. He was very professional and finished the job quickly. I will use Precision again when we have the other parts of the door serviced.

The garage door coils were determined to be fine and lubricating the track resulted in a quieter motion.

Tech arrived as agreed, very polite and willing to answer questions and listen to my concerns. He explained what services he was going to perform. The tech completed the service in about 30- 45 minutes. Upon completion he showed me what he had done, then demonstrated the operation of a much smoother almost silent garage door system. I have nothing negative to say. My system was in service 9 years without any type of tune up or repair. I expect another 5 years before I have a maintenance service done in order to ensure a trouble free 10-15 additional years from the garage door. I will use this company again.

My garage door was acting slowly, so I used Angie's List to find a repair company. Precision was the company I chose, and I am glad I did. They were prompt and professional, and did an excellent job. The door is working faster and smoother than ever. I will be replacing the door in the near future, and intend to call on Precision again to do the work. I would highly recommend them for any garage door work.

Garage door seemed to work OK before, but didn't want to take any chances of failure in the future, so agreed to the work. All seems fine.

Everything went great. Also had 2 neighbors see the procedure and they had their doors done also.

Ok but disappointed they could not fix tho wasn't their fault

My husband was here when they came instead of me, but he was extremely impressed with the company and they did everything they said they would do. The company made some recommendation for extra work that would be necessary. After he spoke with me, my husband and I decided to go ahead and have the company do the additional work as well, which they are doing shortly. The company was timely, worked very well, and made appropriate recommendations.

The whole experience went very well. The technician, Dennis Managan, called before he came, identifying himself and arrived in a timely manner. He was polite and knowledgeable. He went straight to his work and explained every step of the work he was doing. I was comfortable with his presence and his explanations. He cleaned up after himself and filled out the paperwork legibly. He represented Precision Door Service very well. I would recommend this technician and this company to anyone.

I purchased a tuned up package with silencing package. They let that me know that my garage doors were too old for the Deal because they don’t make the bearings needed for them anymore. It was a little bit deceptive because the ad says garage doors plural and has a picture showing two garage doors, but when they came for the appointment they let me know that they would have to charge me double since the deal just covered 1. Since they were already here, I ended up just having the garage door rollers oiled. They seemed thorough and Angie’s List took of refunding the Big Deal since it was a different price for the work that I had done.

The guy who came said that I didn’t need the service and just did some maintenance work at a lower rate.

He had the equipment available in his truck to accomplish the opener replacement. The gentleman was on time, courteous, and had a good attitude. The opener with installation seemed a little pricey. I speculate that if I shopped around I may have been able to get a better price, but the convenience and quality of service warranted paying a bit more.

John was prompt, efficient, and did an outstanding job. I will recommend him to everyone!
