I purchased for a friend that lived outside of the service area. I was refunded for the purchase.

It was a Big Deal purchase. It worked out fine. They were courteous. They were fine. Everything was good. Our interactions had been fine. I didn't spend any more than the original cost. They came out within two or three days after the purchase. The price was fine. I've moved out of state since then but if I could, I would use them again.

We recently purchased our home, 2 years ago, and the spring broke on our garage door. I had called Precision Overhead Garage Door Service to come fix it. My husband was home at the time of service and reviewed all of the garage door issues with the technician. It was agreed to fix the spring and do an "overhaul special" with a LIFETIME warranty. Later that evening when I returned home my husband and I were discussing this and something "rang a bell." I then pulled out the paperwork the previous owner's of the home had left us and found that they had used Precision to install the garage door and had also purchased a LIFETIME warranty. I called the next day and spoke with the receptionist and she informed me that the "warranty is not transferrable." Therefore, our garage door was not under warranty. As a consumer, this makes no sense to me. It is not feasible to remove a garage door and take it to a new home! Therefore, why wouldn't the warranty remain with the door and not the purchaser? I feel that the 'LIFETIME' Warranty is misleading. If you plan on moving in the future, I recommend not purchasing this warranty because of this "non-transferrable" small print that is somewhere stated on the back of a barely legible yellow carbon copy. Unfortunately, if something does go wrong with our garage door I will be contacting them since we have now purchased our own LIFETIME warranty. Had I known this from the beginning I would not have chosen to use Precision because, in my opinion, this is an unethical tactic.

They informed me the garage was commercial size and does not qualify for Big Deal. They told me they would let me know pricing for the commercial size, but I have not heard from them again.

Seemed to go alright, I did refer another customer to them. They were polite, professional and punctual.

I liked that they were prompt, they came out when they said and they got to it fairly quickly. The guy seemed very knowledgeable, he knew exactly what he was doing, and he took minimum amount of time to do it. He gave me a free bottle of silicone spray. He did pretty good. He made a little money on the remote, but he did a good job, and he gave me the silicone. I thought the price was reasonable. I thought paying $60 for the remotes was a bit excessive. He took 5 minutes to program them, and 5 minutes to put silicone in the door.

Per my discussion with the provider, they informed me that the motor for the garage door needs to be replaced and that isn't something that can be done as part of the tune up. I have requested a refund of the Big Deal purchase from Angie's List. I am not going to do anything on the garage door until I have to.

I thought the company was a little pushy. He fixed the garage door and tried to talk me into spending $300 more. He told me it could take 8 months to a year before the problems would arise. Then he said the garage door could fall in on my car. I understood if that was the case, but he didn’t come out and say that when he checked the garage door. The only thing that needed to be replaced was the springs; which he did.

Garage door an home is only 6 years old. Arrived on time. After examining the door I was recommended to purchase a full tune-up for more than $500 or I could have them tighten the springs with no guarantee for $199 as they thought the springs were making all the noise. I chose the $199, but with the replacement seal I paid $299. The door makes just as much noise as it did before. Couldn't get the seal onto my aluminum track, removed it an put on their plastic track and seal and lubed the rollers. I couldn't get an approximate price on the phone when I called.$299 for what they did is ridiculous. Very disappointed. Will still have to call another door company to fix what they couldn't. Update: After owner posted his comments, I contacted Precision Door twice. Both times was told he and Shauna were out of town for several days and would contact me Friday or Monday. A week later I still have not heard from either one. Poor follow up to a customer complaint.

They were out within two days of me purchasing the deal. The service was fine. I didn’t feel that the garage door worked any differently after the tune up. However, the technician warned me that it was getting time to replace the parts.

Repairman arrived on time & provided a very thorough inspection of the garage door & opener. He also gave a detailed explanation of the work he performed.

Excellent service and great bargain. Andrew and George arrived early, explained what they were going to do, work for about 30 minutes, showed me what they did, and tested everything a few times before they left. Best service I have had in a long time for anything.

Years later, everything is still working fine! My garage door is in great shape. They did a good job for me. The individual they sent was very nice and efficient. They are a good company.

Everything turned out well. The technician arrived on time, was friendly and professional, and did a good job in most respects. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to fix an issue with the door's keypad and advised to contact the manufacturer.

They did a great job and we're thinking about having them back out. The tune-up went well, but we need to have them back out because our door isn't functioning correctly. They were very knowledgeable and helpful in answering our questions.

These guys are the absolute BEST !!!! I got a good impression from the first moment ( the guy who came out to see what was going on). Then I talked to Shawna at the office, and she was so very helpful..... (made me wish I was 100 years younger) !! Then David and his crew came and did an EXCELLENT job..
