Precision Garage Door Service

Ty was very professional and fully explained the problem and the solution. He certainly understands the meaning of customer service. He called prior to the 11a-1P appointment window to set a more definitive arrival time. All costs were fully explained prior to the start of the job.

Ty was our installer. he arrived on time and made sure that both my husband and I were in the garage as he explained in detail both the tune up and the overhaul. we decided that the overhaul sounded like the best option so we went with that. Ty was great about us fully understanding what we were paying for and what we needed to do to in the future. we liked that we have a lifetime guarantee on the work that was done. Ty was a true professional during the installation and when he was finished he had us out in the garage once again to explain in detail what he had done. he also set up my garage door opener to my rear view mirror which I was unable to do in the past. we would certainly use precision garage door service again and we would hope that Ty was the installer that they sent out.

The technician was prompt, knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. He repaired the squeaks and greased everything down and tightened up what needed tightening and now my garage door is very quiet when it opens and closes.

My 13 year old Wayne Dalton garage door opener finally died over the weekend. It was noisy and temperamental and I was ready to replace it even if it hadn't died completely. When I called Precision Garage Door Service and explained my problem I got scheduled very quickly. I wasn't expecting such fast same-day service. The technician actually was able to come earlier than originally scheduled. When he arrived we discussed the unit I had and what I needed to get back to a working garage door. He was ready to begin immediately and I was thrilled to not have to wait to be rescheduled. It was a big task and the technician worked continuously for more than 3 hours. The attention to detail of the entire installation was outstanding. The technician even stayed to help me program the Homelink in both my cars. I really appreciate great service and this was as good as it gets.

They did an amazing the job. Very professional.

The young man was courteous and very quick. It has been almost a year and the results are still outstanding

about a week later I had a problem with the same door I call they came out the same day it was not the fix that they did but a broken spring he came back the next day and got back to work .We are very happy with the service

The tech was very nice and professional. We felt he wanted to charge us a rebuild with their lifetime warranty plan instead of fixing the sensors and adjusting the door. Service in what he did was fine, but did not address the other problem for adjusting the spring. If the spring can not be adjusted we should be told that. Again the issue was not addressed at all. Now we must get another opinion.

It was pretty good. The only concern I had, was that my wife purchased a $99.00 deal to fix a "garage noise", and the next thing you know, we've got a $1,200.00 replacement of garage parts. I'm not worried about that, but I don't even thing the $99.00 was ever taken off or applied to that. They basically said that our type of garage was never going to be quiet (We have a three car garage.), unless we put in plastic or some type of tracking that's not metal. That would have been probably another $1,000.00. We live in a fairly new home. The home was built in probably 2006. I lived in another house for ten years and never had any issues with my garage door. I like Angie's List, but what was listed as the $99.00 deal, in the end didn't even apply to what we had done. He looked at one of the doors, and said the garage door was in really bad shape and had parts that needed to be replaced. The other garage door wasn't going up and down, so he ended up putting a new mother-board in the little unit. I looked at Costco, Walmart and Home Depot, and found out that a whole new unit was only $250.00. If I would bought two of those, it would have been $500.00. He had it all done within about three hours at max. When he said "Hey, you need to have this replaced.", I don't know if it would have worked for the next ten years or if it was really needing to be done. The door that my wife was originally concerned about, he said was actually in good shape but it was the other one that was really bad. I don't know what he looked at to be able to find that out. At the end of the day, I don't know how much work actually needed to be done or if what he recommended was what needed to be done and we paid the $1200. Scheduling was easy, but the first thing in my mind is "Are they up-selling product that home-owners don't need?"

It was fine. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount but he had tons more to sell us. We didn't do anything extra. He tried to sell us the moon. They were very good. I just didn't care to be pushed constantly about adding stuff to our garage door system. They were very knowledgeable.

Jake came on time, diagnosed the problem, fixed it all within an hour. How good is that!

Not good at all. They tried to scare us into paying over $600 for repairs on our garage door that were not necessary. They said that the garage door opener would burn up in a matter of 30 days without the repairs. Terrible. Thankful we were able to get a second opinion.

Phone person was very friendly and professional. Clayton, the tech, was friendly and professional. He has a happy enthusiasm about him. He gave me a couple options and their costs. He called 20 minutes before he got there, just like the lady on the phone said he would. He worked quickly. Cost turned out to be less than quoted. Shook my hand and introduced himself when he arrive.! Shook my hand when he left. That alone gives this experience an A rating!

It was fine. They worked pretty good. The scheduling was fine. They came out, did the job and they left. The price wasn’t bad.

Went great! As part of the work, I asked the rep working on my garage to inspect the motor which was very old and was jamming. He showed me in detail what was wrong with it and it needed to be replaced. Additional work came with a 10% discount which he applied on the new motor and remote that I decided to purchase. He completed the tune on my garage door which included replacing all the rollers, lubricating the tracks, replacing the seniors at the base of the door and also checked the springs. He did this very efficiently and professional and then installed the new motor and mounted the new open and close switch on the wall by the door into the house replacing the old one. He then went through the programming process for all our cars that have the home link system. Once it was all done, the door opened and closed whisper quiet (as they promised). The rep then showed me how to care for the door, springs, tracks and motor to get the most years out of the system. Couldn't have been more pleased. Prompt, courteous and professional service with high quality product.

It was fine. They did a nice job. They came out and did exactly what they said they would do, the charge sum seemed fair to me and it was everything I expected. They did what I wanted. They were to get back with me with and they were to have provided new rollers and they never got back to me. They were here on time. The professionalism was good.

Precision Door technician, Cory, was extremely competent, knowledgeable, efficient, and helpful in diagnosing and then corrrecting the problem. He arrived an hour later than expected, but called prior to the original appointment to say that he would be there within one hour, which is exactly when he arrived (he traveled out of town to get to us), and completed the job quickly. Communication is everything! He was courteous, honest, and a great representative of the company. I cannot imagine using anyone else for garage door repair. This company is simply the best. You need not look elsewhere. Cory was a very good communicator, was enthrusiastic, and loved his job. What more could you ask for? The company followed up after the service to see if we had any questions.

Very good - very professional and my garage door is much quieter.
