Description of Work: The tech that came from Precision was great. He went through all the options and encouraged us to contact our flood insurance and homeowners insurance company to find out about discounts and door requirements that would satisfy our needs and our wallets.

Description of Work: I bought two new remote openers. The technician did check over the whole system, and said I need new rollers and a bottom seal, but I will tackle that at a later date. Very good company!

Description of Work: We had an accident with our garage door (closed on open trunk). Door became stuck - could not open even manually. Both cars were in the garage. Precision Garage Door service person arrived within two hours and got everything working again. I did have him update the door rollers. springs and cables while he was there.

Description of Work: Called for a door that would only go half way up at the most. Had to go to work but wife was here. Said we needed there tuneup? of springs, rollers, lube and adjustment. Got home from work and tried door but oops same thing was happening. They came back the next day and said it was just an adjustment. Asked service agent why he changed the rollers and springs. Went to his truck and got one of the supposed bad rollers from the day before!! What do they keep them as prizes? Anyhoe even that roller wasn't bad. It spun just fine. He got the door working and said if there's anymore problems might be the wiring. What? If you think that's the problem look at it. Well the door lasted about 3 weeks an it started the same thing intermittently. Called a differerent company and as soon as the serviceman pushed the button he said bad gear. As I stood and watched he pulled the cover off and small pieces of plastic gear fell out. The gear was almost gone. I imagine Precision would have come out looked at the wiring and hoped the door worked so they could come back to change the gear or whole unit. Very disappointed in this company!!!

Description of Work: The technician checked our garage door and performed some routine maintenance. He arrived on time and was pleasant and did excellent work.

Description of Work: Excellent service! We ordered an advertised silencing and maintenance service for a garage door but wanted an additional service performed when the tech arrived. The tech didn't blink but performed the extra service at a modest cost. Received suggestions on how we could extend the life of the door and components as well they seem more interestetd in serving the customer than drumming up extra business.

Description of Work: Full Silence Service to the garage door and changing the coil that was not holding properly. The serviceman showed us the problem, told us that it didn't have to be changed until it stopped working but we chose to change it while he was there with the part.

Description of Work: We had used this company previously for our home garage door maintenance and were very pleased. This service was performed on a rental property we own. In addition to some garage damage repair that Precision was doing for the tenant, we had a maintenance service done as well. The tenant was pleased with the service.

Description of Work: Garage door tune-up. They inspected the opener and door and performed preventive maintenance checks. The door opener had not been functioning properly, but the technician fixed the problem and it has worked great since.

We thought we would have to replace our door. However, because of Johns expertise, knowledge and honesty our door was fixed in a short period of time. I highly recommend Precision Door Service. Description of Work: The installer was able to come to the house within less than 30 minutes of my calling. He was punctual on both days that he came to my house. He was also very personable. In addition, he was flexible enough to work with me regarding the need to have an electrician provide an outlet for the garage door opener before installation could be provided. This meant coming back the next working day at 8 a.m.. Quality installation was provided. My problem was with his lack of knowledge of the discounts offered by the company. I gave him a yellow page coupon and told him there was also a Senior Discount. He knew nothing of this, so he called the company. Then he told me that the Senior Discount was only 3%, so he would use the $25 yellow page coupon which would be better. I went back online to Angie's List and found that the Senior Discount was 10% which would have been $45, not $25, so I called him and he said he would remedy it...either with a refund or by providing an outdoor keyless entry pad. I chose the keypad, and I am happy I feel that the price was rather high, but I had not compared it to others. I was in a hurry to have a working garage door opener. Hopefully, I am getting what I paid for and that it will last a long time!

Description of Work: I took advantage of one of your Angie's List deals. My technician, Dennis, and his trainee, Rob, were both excellent. The service performed really helped to quiet my door while it was running. Everything was prompt and throughout.

Description of Work: Today I took advantage of the speical offer on Angie's List for a tune up on our garage door. Within 10 minutes of purchasing the offer I was on the phone with Precision making an appointment for today. Dennis Managan was the Certified Technician who came to the house. He was going to be 20 minutes late and even called to let me know. Dennis was amazing in his knowledge of our "aging" door opener but the little tweaks he did to it was wonderful. We're not sure how much longer it will be before we need to replace it but you can be sure we'll be calling Precision Door Service and asking for Dennis.
