Description of Work: They installed gutters. They did a great job - on time, for price quoted, and good clean up.

Description of Work: Apart from a pretty large glitch at the beginning (when an estimator totally misconfigured the job, then disappeared from the company), the job went very well. The work was important to the house's restoration/remodel and I would use the company again.

Description of Work: Estimator came out and took measurements for removing and installing one line of gutter at front of house. Though the voucher was good for 50' and I had considerably less than that, the estimator stated that it was only good for UP to 50', everything else, downspouts, gutter guards, etc. was an additional $224.00!!! No credit for pre-bought footage not used! OK so now I'm staked because I've already paid $349. for the voucher and it can only be used by him. OK, schedule installation, missed phone calls, install dates rescheduled 2 or 3 times by them, material "NOT_IN STOCK"?? Finally show up, nice fellas, pull down the old gutters and prep for install, only to find the estimator had badly underestimated the footage. Not enough material to finish the job; remember, the old gutters were now on the ground!! Back to shop, reschedule, no show, hang around the house for days when they're supposed to show, finally give up and go to store as the cupboard was bare. Come back couple of hours later and new gutters are up but dented in one place. No phone call from office. Give up! At that point I just marked it up to falling for a clever marketing stunt as it cost way more than it should have, I say this because I could have found any gutter installer in the phone book and had them install this one straight line of gutter for far less. Lesson here is clear, "Don't fall for this type of marketing mark-up type of contractor mumbo-jumbo"! The old moral, if it sounds too good to be true, it is!!

Description of Work: The guy who performed the estimate, as well as the guys that performed the job were great. The CSR I worked with on four separate occasions could have shown more empathy and understanding over the multiple reschedules that needed to be done.

Description of Work: I hired the company to paint my family room, kitchen, master bedroom and both baths. Some cosmetic repairs were needed in the family room drywall and kitchen ceiling. After noticing that no drop cloths were put down in the kitchen or countertops, I then covered all my counters and bar area and cleaned them up. The Painters did not put drop cloths down on the kitchen floor which required me to work for over 45 minutes removing the dropped paint. I paid for two painters $40.00/hour each only to have on numerous occasions, one painter standing around holding a roller waiting on the other painter. I had asked that they clean their rollers and brushes only in my back yard but they also cleaned their brushes on the side yard and sprayed painted my front yard white when painting my closet doors. I was in the process of selling my house and having a front and side yard white in the middle of July, was difficult to explain to potential buyers. While I needed the help to paint these additional rooms, part of the hall bath was never painted behind the toilet area, which required me to paint as well as touch up numerous missed areas.

Description of Work: The owner met with me for a walk through on my 1025 sq ft condo, but,!! Only about 700 sq feet had to be painted, I supplied paint. Ceilings did not have to be painted. He told me 2-3 days to paint. No body in charge, painters made their own time sheets, no manager to check on them. My time sheet different from theirs. You also are charged for thier lunch break @ $40.00 per hr. "As cine". 5 days later they we're finished.

Description of Work: The team of two gutter installers were on time, knew what they were doing, courteous and cleaned up all debris at the end of the job. They were the opposite of our previous experience with dock/boat lift contractors. Will definitely call Home Res-Q for repairs/upgrades in the future!

Description of Work: I purchased the painting because I was putting my home on the market and needed some touch up work done. Home Res-Q cancelled twice for estimation of the work to verify it fit the coupon deal. I cancelled the third appt because my home was already under contract for purchase and I was asked not to do any painting. No work was done and I would not own the home by the time they could get to it.

Description of Work: we had them come out and give a variety of estimates. Discussed doing the whole house, and a bit of changes.. Good variety of colors. They were great with the endless questions we asked. And it looks terrific Gutters really do make a difference; really pushing water away from the house. Very happy with the job they did.

Description of Work: The company showed up on time for the estimate, but did not show up for the appointment. No phone call or anything. Found out they were short handed or something and had to reschedule. Not professional not to call and let me know. I had someone waiting for them to show up all day. When we finally got the appointment reset, they did show up and the work was done in a timely manner and to my satisfaction.
