These guys came and got the job done in no time, no fuss, no mess! Very professional.

I had to wait a week longer than I was originally told at the time of the estimate, but the gentleman showed up on time when we finally got a date set. The job went fairly smoothly considering how heavy that storm door is. The door now seals and closes properly and that was why it needed to be re-hung again after 6 years. Nice to have a properly closing door again!

The 2 man crew was right on time, did all the work contracted for and did a good job of cleaning up after the work was completed.

The appointment for the measurements was set for May 6, 2013 between 11AM and 11:45AM. Nick, the owner arrived at 11:05AM and after the measurements were completed, gave me a written estimate. It included the $349 Angie's List Big Deal for 50' of gutters and downspouts with a remaining balance of $95.00 for the additional length. After a few days, I called to set an installation date which we agreed would be May 24. On May 22, Nick called to ask if the gutters could be installed a day early. I had no problem with that change and the gutters and downspouts were installed on Thursday, the 23rd. Since the work was being done outside, no one needed to be at home. I told Nick where the outside outlet was and the job was completed perfectly includiing all clean up. I am very happy with the results and would recommend Home Res-Q Inc. I have some other home improvements in the planning stages and will definitely consider Home Res-Q high on the list of potential renovators.

I was under a time crunch due to blinds being installed.in all rooms of my house and called Home Res-Q about the Big Deal. I spoke to the owner to see if they could schedule the painting on the Monday before the blinds where installed if I bought the deal, I was told yes they could and I bought the deal. I called the next day to schedule and was told the owner would need to come out and check the job to see what supplies were needed and that I would get a call. I did not hear from the owner and made several calls with no respounce. I purched the paint needed and moved all the furnature to the center of the room to allow the painters easy access. I made a few more calls and left messages on Friday before the date the painter were do to start with no luck contacting anyone. On Monday Morning, I called the office and the Owners cell and left more messages. I did get a call back from the Owner and was told that a crew would be out on the Monday to paint. a Few hours later two guys showed up and started painting. They worked the full 7 hours and only took a short lunch break. They where able to paint three bedrooms with three different colors and painted the base boards in all three rooms within the 7 hours. I did call and have Home Res-Q come back out for an estimate of painting a upstairs hall/ stairwell and front entry way. the Estimate was a lot higher than even the "normal" price of the 14 man hours and I do not feel it would take the full 14 man hours to paint the estimated area.

They are going to replace some wood and the floors in the kitchen. They were professional and followed up on their work. I would recommend them to my friends in the future.

They were very prompt in contacting me to set up a service inspection and setting the date (the next day) of the service. The thoroughly explained what needed to be done. They selected the correct materials to replace the rotten wood all around the house right under the roof. They did a great job is removing the rotten wood and seemlessly installing the new wood. They sealed and painted a number of times until the wood finish was perfect. They were very professional and very friendly. They cleaned up behind themselves! When they where finished, you couldn't even see a paint chip left behind! They gave me the heads up on some minor roof work that needed to be done even though they don't do that type of work . They weren't recommending anyone either; they just told me what needed to be done and what didn't need to be done. They even gave me some do-it-yourself advice for touch ups around the exterior of my home. I'd recommend Home Res-Q in a heartbeat!

called for an appointment.. company never showed up .. claimed they had a major job they had to finished.. they never call until later that date after the appointment.. after my mom waisted all day waiting for the company to show up. they casually should up .. the next day. when i was all dressed and read to go to work.. a group of young men. very unprofessional looking, and very rude. mention its not a big deal that they are there now and can be gone in an hour.. not understanding that i am on my way out.. and i have to leave.. they insisted, they it not a big deal. which was very unprofessional and rude. I called the office manager, and she claimed she call and left a message. ( no message was there) that they will be there the next day at 1pm .. if they are free. about 3 weeks later i called again and make another appointment .. again they never showed up . claiming that she had written it for a different day that she originally told me.. this was also done with an email . and after i fwd the email to her, she claim she had alot to do . and must have gotten the dates wrong.. no apology. finally i made another appointment a month later. and after the job was done a week later it rained and the gutter leaked and all the debris was left on the roof and all over the deck..i called and asked for someone to come and clean up the mess and the seal these leak. she gave me a week appointment to come back. at this time ..its schedule to rain the next few days.. i went to home depot a nd bought some gutter sealant. and had to climb on the roof and seal my gutter and clean up the debris.. Ashley , the office manager, rudely, email me.. ( I can forward it to you ), that her workers showed up and didnt see and debris and seal the gutter. not understanding that i told i can wait for a week to get mess cleaned up and the gutter seal . because its going to rain. she then went on a tangent . ranting and raving .. that.. they even put a piece of gutter in the front.. and didnt charge me.. and nothing was there.. and kept on being rude. FIRST and foremost.. HER COMPANY worker .. BROKE off my downsprout and hence ripped out my front gutter when they were dragging the equipment to the back. they the worker apologize.. and said they would fix it. I will never use this company or recommend again.. mostly because theoffce manager is very rude., condescending.. and unprofessional.. and constantly in all her conversations, belitted my mother, with accusations.. and judgements.. ----- FYI>. this provider did not give me free gutters,, there irresponsible, teenage boys.. workers,, knock down, my downsprout (ripped it off) however it was by accident . when they were going to the back.. with their equipments.. so they replace that piece

They were at house a little early than planned ,but that was OK . I wanted to see them put the gutters up .

The receptionist was arrogant. They did show up and do what I asked them to do and did a good job. They had to come back to correct something done shoddily, I guess I expected it to be done without a callback. Overall they did what I asked but I would not use them again. I could have purchased a new door and jamb for less than the materials and labor for just the jamb. I wish they would have told me that.

.The only reason I gave a B rating on the overall experience was the morning they were due to come, I received a call they were delayed on another job. I was assured they would be there the next day & they were, I would definitely use them again if the price was right ---- a groupon!!!!

They showed up on time and did a great job. One of the jobs was on the second floor and had to be done from a ladder. As they found problems, they told us what they found and were able to correct each problem. The jobs were more involved than we expected because of hidden wood rot, but we were very pleased with their solutions. They fixed everything so that it didn't just look good, it also was fixed right. They primed and painted everything and we are absolutely delighted with the results. We will be calling them again with our next exterior wood projects.

I had to be away on the day that the repair was to be done, but that was not a problem, since it was all outdoor work. When I returned home, it appeared that no work had been done. It turned out that the workman found a different area of rot on a different porch, and fixed that! On the second trip, he repaired the original area, so all in all, we got more than we expected, still at a very reasonable price. They were pleasant to communicate with and generally very responsive.

They called to say someone was sick so the painter would be late. After he got here he went right to work and worked none stop for the 7 hours he was to be here. Did a great job. neat and tidy. The next day they sent 2 painters who finished up Got all my hours and a great job. Looks wonderful. I will use them again.

The process was only the estimate visit and follow-up phone calls and emails; it was unsatisfactory throughout as described on the request-for-refund forms.

A date was scheduled for the painters to perform their work and I was assured the painters would be at the house at 9:30 a.m. The day arrived and at 10:30, the painters had still not arrived. I called the office number, no answer, I called the owner's number, no answer. Finally around 11:00, the person in the office returned my call and told me they had a painter call in sick and we would have to re-schedule. I had taken a day off from work and I had to call them to find out where they were. The appt. was re-scheduled and the same scenario happened again. Incredible! No call from the business, I had to call them. The owner returned my call and gave me a story about his painter and a court date, frankly I didn't care, he was running a business and is responsible and I had taken yet another day off of work. I told him he needed to get the job done...today. He sent his father and another man. His father was a very nice person, but he was already exhausted when he arrived at my home. The two men painted until 8:00 that evening. I had dinner plans I had to postpone. Most of the work was fine but there was paint in a few places there shouldn't have been. I have had a fair amount of various types of work done at my home and never had a similar experience.

The gentleman that did the work was very professional and seemed to know what he was doing. He was able to make the necessary repairs without some additional work the man who did the original estimate felt might need to be done and which would have required an additional crew. There was one small problem which he came back and repaired the next day. I would definitely hire them again.

I chose not to do this Big Deal because of extra costs involved. The worker was very nice, I just didn't want to spend the extra money.

It went well, the job they did was beautiful. They couldn't work full days because the office was so far away. They compensated me for part of the work. The crew does perfect work. There was a delay of about a week for them being able to get back out here and finish the job, I'm sure Nick would have a story about why that happened. They are balancing people in working in different counties.

see above. Overall, went well. Once he got started, he completed work quickly and efficiently. Was mildly surprised at price, even with Angie's List discount. But I don't contract out this sort of work very often.

They came out to look at the project. They were honest and upfront about the entire project. They said I would need to get the roof fixed prior to them doing the job and they referred me to a roofing company that could do the whole job instead of two companies doing each piece of the job. In the end, it made more sense to have one company do the whole project.

Purchased Angie's List coupon offer for vendor @ $149 for 4 hours of labor (did not include materials) Vendor contacted me immediately to schedule an appointment. We were required to take photos of wood damage and email to vendor with understanding they would indicate which type and amount of materials to purchase. (This part gets a "B" rating because we had to provide materials without waiting further for vendor instructions.) Vendor was very flexible when we had to reschedule appointment. Worker arrived on time and ready to complete job. We had to purchase extra materials on installation day because some old wood underneath old fascia was in poor condition. Hence, the extra 1 hour charge of $45. However, I was very pleased with the honesty of the worker, he could have simply overlooked the bad wood beneath the fascia and not informed us that it also needed replacing. WORKER WAS FANTASTIC, completed job and house looks like new, no take that back, better than new! I would hire this company again for home "wood" repairs.

The initial appointment was rescheduled 30 minutes before they were scheduled to come. Said a job had run over. Would have appreciated more of a heads up (like the night before) but it was rescheduled and they showed up promptly on that day. As requested they brought the needed materials and I supplied the paint. They did a very professional job in securing the trim they replaced which had not been done before. They did everything in the time paid for!! and the cost for the wood was minimal and very fair. Very very pleased with the quality of the work and the clean up afterwards. Would definitely bring them back! Thank you.
