We bought a Big Deal for gutter installation. Home Res-Q was responsive to set up an appointment to look at the job. We needed additional footage beyond what we paid for in the Big Deal, so that additional charge was quoted as well. Once we decided to have the additional footage put on, we called and Home Res-Q set up an appointment for about a week later. They came earlier than expected on the day of the appointment and had the job done before I got home. I'm happy with the work done, though they left some clippings in the yard that I didn't see until I mowed the lawn.

*UPDATE ON REVIEW* Nick contacted me about my Angie's List review and apologized for the bad experience. He went out of his way to make it up to us and I am pleased to say that I would now recommend Nick and Home Res-Q. I understand not every job will be perfect, but all we as consumers ask is that we be treated fairly. Thanks Nick for reassuring my faith in you and your company. My previous review: I waited a while to write this review because I wasn't sure how I wanted to handle it. I bought the daily deal for seamless gutters. They came out and measured and I needed more than the special included. He gave me a new estimate and I was happy with the price. We scheduled a time and they came out and did the work exactly as described. I was very happy, until I started walking around my property to inspect the work. I stepped on a nail on the ground that barely missed my foot and as I started to look around I found many screws and pieces of the old gutters laying around (see pics). I called and explained the situation. I sent pictures of some of the pieces I found. That's the last I heard from them. I think that they are a good company that does a good job, but the follow up on a disappointed customer was lacking. I would have liked for them to offer to come out and check the grounds for more pieces (which I found when I mowed later in the week), or at least offer some type of compensation that would have renewed my confidence in them. Instead I'm writing a review that does not shed them in a positive light. I wouldn't stop someone from using them, but I won't recommend them either.

2 man crew showed up on time and immediately set to work. Installation went smoothly and was completed in good time. All contracted features were installed neatly and efficiently. Gutters look good and perform as advertised. I will consider Home Res-Q for any further home improvement projects.

They arrived on time, worked fast and got everything on the list in the estimated timez Everything was done professionally.

The gentleman who came to my house was not what i had expected. I was told by the owner that 2 workers were coming to come out. Only 1 of them had come but he was very nice and professional. He then went ahead and removed my old door and added the new one and frame that I have bought to install. I rated them this way due to some odd communications from the Company leading up to the work to be completed.

It was okay. I had differences with him. He gave me an estimate and I changed it and he didn't re-estimate it. Then, he took only a $1000 off for what I didn't get done. I had originally wanted to have the kitchen moved. But then I ended up finding out that I had other things to do. Each time I turn around, plumbing had to be done. The electrical had to be ran. The tile had to be done when we moved the stool. I just did not have a good experience with them at all. They estimated it at $4000 to remove the kitchen. I ended up only paying $3000 because he didn't tear the kitchen out. He didn't do it like I want it. I would not use them in the future.

They did a great job. I did not have any problem scheduling an appointment with them. They were fine and I only paid for the big deal. They came in, painted and cleaned up after themselves. We will be using them again in the future.

It was kind of a challenge. They came out initially promptly did give me the estimate. They said it should be able to get done and I guess I didn't leave the fine print because I had to arrange have the materials delivered and once they started they said that they didn't have enough materials and then they punctuality when the guy was supposed to come, didn't come and came later and so it was just a lot of and it just didn't work out as well and the project was still not finished so I am going to eventually hire somebody else to finish it. They never finished the job, they kept every time they came they said it was going to take more time, more materials, more work. It probably took a while from the time I brought the special just because I had a wedding coming up and all that so it was probably a month or so later, that might have been part of me too because I was so busy. I would not use them again. I would not recommend them.

I would like to give him a definite "A" across the board. He did a fantastic job, but I had a couple of people come out and give me quotes and they were so over inflated. I told him exactly what I needed to have done, which was basically to have my deck resurfaced and repainted; I did not need a whole lot of bells and whistles. He told me what he could do and he had a really reasonable price. He did a really solid job and I would recommend him to others.

In additional to the above, they were late.

It turned out good. I would use them again in the future.

They were very efficient. He contacted me for an appointment. I explained my project and he asked me to send him pictures. He then advised that he would be unable to do the work, but was happy to recommend a roofing company that would actually be able to complete the job.

Larry of Home Res-Q Inc. arrived promptly and spent almost all of the 7 hours I had booked putting up a bathroom cabinet, putting together a bed and headboard, a large kitchen cabinet and butcher block. Larry also took the time to look at exterior door locks and put in new front door lock .I formed a good relationship with Ashli of Home Res-Q Inc's office who was especially accommodating. I will be using their services again in the very near future as I am completely satisfied with the work.

The two painters that came out to do the work were prompt, professional and hard workers. They also did a GREAT paint job! The walls and trim were done very well. The ceilings look great (as great as popcorn ceilings can)! And the hideous red wall with its irregular paint color is gone and replaced by a neutral shade done perfectly! I am thrilled with their work and would not hesitate to call them for help in the future.

Started off great! They were punctual in providing estimate and upfront that the repair may not work. However, on several instances they were supposed to come to do the work and ended up calling to reschedule at the last minute. Like many people, I am a working professional and my time is precious. I was not happy about this and really felt disrespected. After being put off several times we were ready to cancel the job. But they insisted they would be there this time as promised. They finally held true to their word and came out and did a nice job. Unfortunately the project failed and the leak lives on!

I ordered the deal they were offering (forget what it was exactly, but I believe it was $499 for 50 feet of gutter). They claim they didn't get any notification that I purchased the deal, so they didn't know to contact me. I reached out to them by email, but got no response. I finally called and they "found" my information regarding the deal I purchased. No biggie. They came, looked at what we wanted to do and quoted for additional footage of gutter. They installed a couple of weeks later and all is good. We no longer have water running down the whole front of the house. They did a good job!

Purchased a provider Big Deal knowing that we had work to be performed. Provider came as agreed to give estimate and to complete installation. Owner was running slightly late to give estimate and called to advise same which was much appreciated. Can't say enough good things about Brent who installed the door. He arrived right on time and was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He took great care to preserve the exterior door trim so that it would not have to be replaced and cleaned up thoroughly upon completion. He also took the old door away. Great experience from start to finish.

They were extremely polite and professional.

The service that they provided us was great, everything was perfect. We would definitely call them again.

The price was low, they had one of Angie's list coupons or something like that, that I bought on the internet. That was two painters for seven hours and that was very good.

The lead guy was very unprofessional. I would ask him to do something and he would ignore me. He wanted to do whatever he wanted to do. He would also make smart remarks towards me. While he was placing putty on holes the other guy was standing around not doing anything. I was paying $90 an hour for less than professional work.

This was handled by the owner and he did a great job. I was pleased with this big deal. He was on time and very professional. I had a great experience with this work.
