+ -1 moreThey were great and lived up to the ratings they got. They have a service contract that allows you to get an immediate discount once you pay a lifetime fee which I liked. The technician came out and checked the motor for the pump outside and said that the seal was broken. He explained to me what the options were and the pricing and also the time that it would take to complete the work. He spent a good hour and did not charge me. Their prices were very good, especially with the service contract. He was also punctual and I was very impressed. He will be returning the pump tomorrow, but he explained that what he is going to do will improve the pump. I would use them again and they are my plumbers for life.

+ -1 moreThe plumbing company is responsive, punctual, and professional. They are competent and always seem to get the job done. We had a discount coupon, so we used them. The guy who came out was efficient. He got right to the job and he got it done in a timely manner. The quality of work seems to be good so far.

+ -1 moreThey have been good and were rated high on the list. They have replaced the toilets in the house and came right out and did a good job. I was able to talk to them over the phone about what was needed and he gave me several recommendations and the pricing was upfront. They had to put in a sink and it was a difficult installation. It took a long time to have the work done, but they did not charge me anything extra because they gave me the price upfront.
Description of Work: We used Action Plumbing Of Miami Inc. The last time we used them was in the beginning of August because we had 2 more toilets to be fixed.

+ -1 moreHe was very responsive and the company was very professional. The day he came out, it was raining tremendously. He got here early- ten minutes. Someone else might have wanted to bust the ceiling, but he was able to help us without doing this. He just put some caulking in the corner and that was it. He was amazing and we would definitely recommend him to others.
Description of Work: We had water come through the ceiling in the living room from the bathroom. He stopped this with caulking.

+ -1 moreAll employees we spoke to during the three days (and some follow up work afterwards) were very professional and helpful in any way they could be. They always let us know what the plans were for our job that day. The job went as expected and when they were done they filled in our front yard and put the sod back in place. They left the area in really good condition and we were happy with everything they did to fix our re-piping problem.
Description of Work: They came out and reviewed camera video of our pipes and the back-up problem we were having which was originating from our underground pipes in the front yard. They quickly provided us an estimate to locate the problem and do the anticipated work. They also gave us their price should it be more work, which they wouldn't know until after digging to the pipes. They dug for 3 days. The pipe problem underground was exactly what they thought it would be (pipe pitch not originally set properly). They cut and removed the bad pipe, dug deeper and replaced that pipe so the water would flow properly downward.

+ -1 moreDidn't fix my existing water heater, which was fixable come to find out later, unnecessarily sold me a new one, charged me an arm an leg for it, and the technitian was hitting on my staff giving out his phone number. I do not recommed anyone using this company.
Description of Work: The water heater was not working correctly. They sold me a new one of a different brand. That one didn't work either. They called in the manufacturer to look into it. The technitian the manufacturer sent could not speak English, was rude, and embarrassed me and my customers by slamming things and screaming. Action Plumbing put in a new one of the same brand as I originally had.

They had told me they didn't have the part and that they would come back after I purchased the part to install. Action Plumber arrived on time. Before entering the house he put on shoe coverings so as not to dirty the floor. He came in a large box truck and they obviously had the part which was installed. After he explained the pricing and offered a plan for future savings by paying a one-time fee of $59 which included a free annual inspection. A very pleasurable experience.

+ -1 moreThe technician arrived on time, was friendly and professional and within 20 minutes my drain was running again. A plus was that the technician spoke English and there was no language barrier; as so often happens in Miami. I have no down side complaints with this company.
Description of Work: I had a clogged kitchen drain. The company listened to my complaint and what I thought needed to be done. They did not disregard what I thought was the problem. With the use of the electric snake, took care of my problem. The phone contact person was extremely professional; called me to let me know the technician was on his way.

Description of Work: I had a clogged bathtub drain that I tried to snake by myself. The snake was stuck and the water would not go down. I called Action Plumbing and they were able to schedule someone to come out that afternoon. The plumber got my snake out of the drain, explained that I had put it in the wrong place and showed me what I should have done.

+ 0 moreI awoke at 5:00 AM and heard the sound of rushing water coming from my garage. I opened the door and found my water softener was gushing water. I quickly turned off the water in the house. At 8:00 AM I called Action plumbing. They were very courteous on the phone and had Mark on my doorstep within 45 minutes. He was a pro. He explained the problem and got it fixed quickly. I would use them again in a second.
Description of Work: I had a large leak in a water softener. They came out and removed the damaged unit and repaired the one inch copper water line.

+ -1 moreOverall, I was extremely happy with finally being able to have my faucet working, after so many previous tries with other companies.
Description of Work: I had problems with the faucet's hose in my kitchen's sink, which had been repaired a couple of times by other companies. Finally gave Action a try and found Dania, the representative, very polite and accommodating and we made an appointment for next day. The repairman was able to correct the tightness of the faucet's house. He also gave me the $10 Angie's List discount. However, I forgot to check the movement of the faucet from side to side. Therefore, I called the company again and Dania, again very nicely and apologetic, sent me Mike Kris (sp) who took every care, not to mess up my floor and cabinet; he took out the whole faucet, oiled it, re-mounted it and called me to make sure the repair was this time to my satisfaction. He cleaned the floor in the area and applied no extra charge for the second visit. I could not be happier. The employees of Action Plumbing seem to be extremely professional and knowledgeable in their trade and I definitely will keep utilizing their services.

+ -1 moreI called this morning and they had Curtis there in a few hours. They called to confirm I was home etc. Curtis was extremely professional and put on covers over his shoes. He looked at the pipes and showed me the problem and replaced it and was done in 30 mins. We also discussed making some changes to the plumbing in the future that we not really necessary at the moment.
Description of Work: One of the pipes under the kitchen sink came apart spilling water everywhere. I tried to tighten it myself but it would not tighten. Curtis replaced the part and fixed it.

Very shortly someone called and said they were on a call that would go into the afternoon and he would call when he finished the job to see if I still needed him to come by. He called when he finished job, however, thought I could get by until the next day which cost would be less than a holiday call. Set up for the following day. Arrived on time and unclogged drains. Was impressed with the followup call to message left. Would use again.
