J.G., the plumber, assessed the problem and went on the roof to snake the roof vent. We had our kitchen sink stop up a week before, and he spent lots of time checking to make sure that both roof vents were clear of any stoppage.

They were prompt, on time, and they were very clean, and they didn't take a long time. They fixed the problems just as fast as they could get to them. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I got Action Plumbing from Angie's List. When I called the woman on the phone was very pleasant and efficient. I had a plumber (Mark) here within 2 hours - I thought that was real fast service. He snaked the pipes and we asked him to return to fix a leak in the shower. Great service all around.

The technician responded within three hours. The work was done in one hour. I had to call them the next day because the toilets were backing up again. They came right over and fixed it. We have had no problems since then. The receptionist called and told me that someone would be there in the morning but nobody showed up so I had to call back and set up a 4pm time for them to show up. He was very professional and did good work. The estimate they gave me was right on the money.

Arranged appointment over the phone. "Junior" arrived dressed in work attire, but clean and pleasant. Wore shoe covers whenever in the house. Front drain issue he addressed easily telling us we did not need snaking, but because of the type of "drain" (French drain) it needed other type of services done-which we will use Angie's List to address. Evaluation of low water pressure was made by Junior before he started work by giving several possibilities, easiest evaluated first. Sediment from the hard water was clogging up the aerators in each faucet. Junior took care of each problem efficiently and pleasantly. While he was here we added on a couple of other small items which he also addressed efficiently.

My kitchen sink faucet broke and the water couldn't be turned off. I had to turn the main water supply to the kitchen off. I called Action Plumbing and they arranged to come out right away. My husband had to go out and choose another faucet (we have a contemporary style house) that would match our interior design. The old faucet was taken out and the new one installed that day.

Mark arrived exactly on time. Checked HW hose connection and sprayed with WD40 then did the kitchen trap repair. Hose would not come off connection and it took quite a bit of effort to remove connection from hot water line, but Mark was successful. Replaced the handle, attached the hose to it and to the washing machine. Made sure it was leak free. He was very pleasant. The reason for the "n/a" regarding estimate is that I put off two other possible repairs that were included in the total estimate Mark gave me for four items. Don't forget to use the $10 off coupon which is why my bill was $165 not $175.

Went very well. Company called in morning to see if they could come earlier (but we could not adjust the time). Called 1/2 hour before arriving to say they were on the way. Plumber provided various suggestions to my wife on other plumbing related concerns. Everything was fixed and the price was reasonable.

I called on a Thursday hoping for a Friday appointment, but didn't have my call returned until late Friday and was given an early Monday appointment. The plumber came in promptly at 8:30 am on Monday morning. Having looked at the bathrooms where I had problems he then gave me a written estimate of the work to be done. The company does not have an hourly rate but rather assigns set fees to different tasks. He first replaced the cracked valve under the water tank in the kids' bathroom that was causing the leak. This cost about $170, but the problem was resolved fairly quickly. He then went on to replace the leaky sink fixture in the master bathroom. The fixed fee was about $140, which I found rather pricey, because I provided the fixture and had the workplace entirely cleared out and ready for him to work, so it was pretty straightforward, I thought. Nevertheless, everything was done well and left clean. Finally, I got a $10 coupon from the Angie's website which he applied to the tab.

I called Action Plumbing as soon as they were open and spoke with David, who took my description of the leak and my information and said he would call back as soon as he could look at the schedule. About 30 minutes later I was told a plumber would arrive shortly to assess the situation and make needed repairs. Jay arrived soon thereafter and was able to ascertain that I had a cabinet screw in my pipe and it had probably rusted through and created the leak. He was able to repair the leak without difficulty, answered all my questions and cleaned up his work area. He was not disturbed as I photographed the offending pipe. Most of all, Jay was unfailingly courteous, a rare commodity in Miami.

He was prompt. He told me he would be here at 4:00 and he was. He even wore surgical covers on his shoes so as to not dirty my floors.

Good. The worker explained to me where the problem was and gave me an estimate. He fixed the toilets. He then explained that they would have charged much less if I knew what the problem was. He showed me how to determine where a leak is coming from if it happens in the future.

From the beginning this company was very professional, responded in a timely manner and responsibly.

They did have to come out a second time to ensure the job was done correctly however they didn t charge for that visit. They also came out rather quickly (considering it was over the holidays). They were very thorough and pleasant to work with.

They were very willing to take suggestions from husband. The employees were pleasant, knowledgeable and friendly. Their positive ratings from Angie's List were equivalent to our experience with them. They are a longstanding business since 1976. I appreciate the fact they speak English. The company offers a minimum 1 year guarantee on their labor. David & Marcia were accommodating to my needs. I will definitely use them again for my plumbing needs.

Big AD 24 hour service, we'll call you back in 15 minutes. Well, it's now 1.5 hours later and I have another plumber on the way. If you don't want to work 24 hours don't sell yourself that way.

First, Mark called to let us know when he would be at our home. He showed up on time and was very courteous. He was friendly and well groomed (The last plumber we had "smelled.). My husband showed him the toilet that was leaking and Mark got right to work on it. We had been told on the phone how much it would cost, so we didn't have any hidden costs added later. He spent at least 1 hour or longer repairing it. We even had him check our sink in another bathroom which he told us was all right. He didn't charge us for that. We also appreciated that he spoke English fluently and understood exactly what we needed to have done.

Excellent!! Although the work was very simple, they came the same day, were punctual, competent and reasonably priced.

This company and its representative, Mark, deserve the highest of praise. We had a leak under the kitchen sink. A plumber was called in and he tightened a valve and said that was all that was needed. If there was a problem, to call him back. Well the problem did not go away. We called him back. He said we needed 3 new valves and to replace the faucet. Total bid - $700 plus the faucet. I looked on Angie's List and found Action Plumbing, which is located within 5 miles of my home. They sent out Mark. He said the leak is from the faucet and that there is nothing wrong with the valves. Bid - $178 to install a new faucet. The man returned the following afternoon as promised. He installed the new faucet - adjusted the valves (no charge) and guess what - no leaks. What else can you ask for? Action Plumbing will be the one I call when we need such work in the future. They came the day after I called, as promised. They fixed the problem and promised to return, if I was not satisfied with the job.

ACTION PLUMBING DID A GREAT JOB. THEY GOT BOTH PROBLEMS TAKEN CARE OF IN A VERY TIMELY MANNER. MY WATER NOW RUNS QUICKLY THROUGH MY PIPES WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM.

THIS COMPANY ONLY CHARGED ME THE TRAVEL COSTS FOR THE CALL INSTEAD OF A SERVICE CALL CHARGE. THEY CAME HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BY FRIENDS AND DID A THOROUGH JOB. THE CLEAN UP WAS GOOD TOO.
