J & K Roofing Inc

I contacted the user regarding some services that I needed. Even know they did not offer the service ; they were very professional and pointed me to the right direction and provided me the contact information for some one who services better in my area.

They did great. I met with Phil, J &K's representative, and reviewed the project. After agreeing on a price, $1700. J & K gave me a substantial reduction since I was contracting with them for a second reroof at a separate location. J & K completed the project in one day. They arrived early, removed the solar heater, stripped the rotten section, and replaced the shingles to match the remaining roof. They completed they job and were finished by the afternoon. And after I explained I was an Angie's List member, the owner returned a 10 per cent discount. Thanks Angie's List.

I contacted them through Angie's List Monday. They called and came over Tuesday. Scheduled for Thursday, but rescheduled for Friday. Came Friday and repaired roof in 2 1/2 hours. This was the second time I used J&K Roofing, and as before another excellent experience.

It went great what was promised happened on time and proffessionally. It has not rained yet but I am sure everything is going to be fine.

The ceiling in our bedroom started an area of browning and being moist. We contacted this company and the owner Don was very punctual in the return of calls. He came over to inspect the roof and give us an estimate. He called in the morning as his crew arrived to check that he could get in the gated area and if our dogs were out. His crew was on time to begin work. They did a thorough repair, cleaned up all of their materials and completed the job in a timely manner. Don and his crew were very courteous and professional. We would use them again.

I made an appointment and they were a no show. I called and spoke to Don. I mentioned I had an appointment that was made at their convenience and my convenience. Don became defensive and rude. Don did not care that I had taken time out of my day and was waiting on them. Don then hung up on me. I called him back and Don immediately began screaming at me at the top of his lungs and cursing at me and threatening me. Don called me a f-ing a****** and a p****. Don told me to come by his shop and he would take care me. Don then told me he had a good attorney. Don could not take responsibility for his own negligence in this matter instead immediately lost control and became hostile. Obviously, this is a company that should not be doing business. I Warned you I do not take kindly to being threatened by Don. If Don or by third party continues to contact me or threatened me I will seek legal action. I want all my contact information removed from his employees, and anyone that is affiliated with J&K Roofing. J&K Roofing is never to contact me in any fashion, direct, indirect or by third party ever again.

Just after that monsoon Saturday rain we had recently, I developed a leak in the roof. I called them on Monday and they were able to come out that day. They were able to squeeze me in on Thursday and the leak is gone. I have used them before and it was so great to know of a good reputable company! They are professional and good workers!

They were great and the work was done well. Billy was the sales representative who came out. They were always in contact with me. They did everything that they were supposed to do.

They were great. Called me promptly after I put a message on Angie's list. Arranged an appointment for the following day to give me an estimate . Billy was right on time and gave me a full explanation of what needed to be done to fix the leak. The workers arrived on time and did the work that needed to be done. Very nice company to do business with.

From start to finish they were very professional and courteous. They did exactly what they promised and came in on budget too!!!

They did a great job. When something isn't done right, he is always there to take care of business.

I asked for a roof repair estimate from four companies listed as very good and reliable on Angie?s list. According to the reviews, I was sure that all of them would do a good job, so I choose the company with the lowest estimate. My situation had extra difficulties in that the problem spot on my roof was in the same place where I had installed solar panels for my pool heater system. Some companies want me to remove those panels before they will fix the roof and then put them back, which will cost me probably more than roof repair itself. J & K Roofing Inc. did not ask me to remove the solar panels and his estimate was $300 - $400 smaller than others. I called them Friday and asked to do the repair. They wanted to come Tuesday but I was afraid that it would rain during the weekend and asked them to come on Saturday. Saturday it was also supposed to rain but they showed up anyway, early in the morning just as they promised. They not only fixed the issue I had identified but they also found more weak spots where I could have similar problem in the future and I asked them to fix larger area under the heating panels. They did an excellent job and didn?t charge me anything additional for coming out on the weekend. They accepted the 10% coupon from Angie?s list with no issue. I definitely recommend this company and will call them again on the roof.if I have another problem with my roof.

Outstanding from start to finish. Showed up on schedule and also called when in route, for both the estimate and for the repair. After the work was started, they realized it was a much bigger job than they estimated, but they completed the work at the estimated price, and did not even hint at charging more. I was so happy with the work, I chose to wave the Angies List discount. They will be my first call when I am ready for a complete new roof.

Fixed both leaks. They came back the day after to fix one of the leaks that still had problems. They made sure the work was done to my satisfaction I would recommend them. They were protected and finished as they stated

Great experience. Chris arrived when he said he would. I was open to replacing the entire roof due to the age of the house. Chris took the time to do a thorough inspection and advised I may have a few more years before needing a full replacement. Explained the problem and gave me a fair quote. Gene and Kenneth arrived on schedule to do the repair and were excellent in every aspect of their job. Just had a torrential downpour and the repaired area is dry as a bone. Can't ask for more. Glad I found this great company and people.

I had a major leak in one of my rooms and every time it rained heavily, a section of that room would leak substantially. I obtained several estimates from different companies and went with J&K because I felt very comfortable speaking with Don over the phone as well as with Chris (who came over and provided the estimate.) They were extremely punctual having showed up on time on the day we had scheduled. The crew was professional and after having completed the job, left the work area very clean. I am very satisfied the work, the service, and the professionalism provided by everyone. When writing the check, my wife forgot to deduct the Angie's List coupon for the discount and Don called me to inform me of the oversight on our part. Don immediately sent me a check for the 10% off the cost. THANK YOU.

Called for an estimate for a reroof or repair. Received appointment for next day. "Chris" called before appointment and said he would be 20 minutes late (thank you!). He was professional, friendly, and courteous. Unfortunately this company doesn't work on roofs in my neighborhood.

they were very nice both when I called and when they came out here. Saw they had really good reviews and said they are great and they really seem like it super nice and profession. Sam called ahead of time to inform me that he was on his way. Got here and was very nice did his thing and gave me my estimate which I believe was fair but out of my pocket range if I had that amount I would of done my new roof with them. Super nice

When new leak appeared, I immediately called the office and was told they would let me know by the end of the day when someone could come. After not hearing for over 24 hours, I emailed them through Angie's List. Immediately Gene and his assistant were at my house. They not only found the source or the problem but provided me a film of the problem. That day it was completed and they were greatly helpful. I think that Gene is the best roofer I've ever dealt with in terms of knowing where the problems come from and explaining so well. They cleaned up the area very well (which no other roofer has EVER done). It seems to be fixed. We are keeping our fingers crossed. I would recommend their service highly.

I called to have someone come out and give me a quotation on repairing my roof. I was informed they do not work in my community due to the structure of the roofs. I asked for more information and asked several questions as to why they don't work in my community. All of his answers helped me come to a conclusion about my roof that I had known all along, but just needed conformation. He was VERY helpful and I would definitely use this roofing company in the future.

He was very courteous and explained the problem and how they will fix the leakage. Did not hire them because we found the price was high.

I got them through Angie's List. It went well. They did a great job. They were very professional, they were punctual, and they were quick. They got it done faster than I thought they would. They actually went above what I asked them to do. I recommended them to my next-door neighbor and they were very satisfied with the job.

Sammy came out to inspect inside our home for what we thought was a roof leak. He was polite, professional and informative as he inspected the area we thought might be leaking. It turned out we had no leaks however, Sammy advised we should check with a termite inspector and painter for the ceiling area was stained. We were more than pleased with the service Sammy gave us, promptly showing us we can still have 'HONEST' WORKMANSHIP from contractors in South Florida. Thanks again? you ROCK!!!

We bought a house July 2013 and there was some roof leaks. The house has no attic or insulation, just shingles and wood. On July 26th, 2013, these guys came to fix 4 leaks. They charged us $1500 for shingles and wood for about 4 sq feet. and it's still leaking today. It never stopped leaking. 4 or 5 nice guys, came back after a few days and the leak wasn't fix and they never fixed it. My husband has been trying to fix them himself now because we couldn't afford another $1500 and we found out last week that not only did they really OVERCHARGED us, but they never fixed it to begin with. I don't understand the average "A" on Angie's list, or maybe they realized that we knew nothing about roofs and screwed us. I would NOT recommend or use again. In fact, I'm writing bad reviews every where I can. JUNE28, 2014 UPDATE: To who ever responded, Yes Angie's List does verification before posting the review, I have a receipt and I paid with a check.
