BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! Poor workmanship, no accountability and are not willing to honor their warranty. Complete re-roof lasted for *LESS THAN 5 YEARS!!!* I just purchased a property that J&K Roofing did a complete flat re-roof on September 2019 (as shown in the permit picture). A home inspection on December 2023, just a little bit over 4 years since they did the re-roof on this property, determined that the roof has *ZERO* lifetime and needs to be completely re-done immediately. Keep in mind that the inspection was done on December 2023 but the roof condition has been like that for at least a couple of years in order to reach to these condition. Which means that the work they did maybe, at best, lasted for a good year or two. A COMPLETE ROOF RE-DONE I mind you!!! I contacted J&K Roofing and asked for the owner to call me back after I provided them with all the inspection reports. Took him a week to get back to me, and he will not take any responsibility nor will honor their “transferable warranty” they are “selling” to people. They blamed everyone and everything but their poor workmanship. They blame the manufacturer, the previous owner, the termite, the rain, they even excused the poor condition of the roof as an “act of god”. What a joke. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company. It is clearly that they only want your money and will tell you and sell you everything just to get it. They do not guarantee their poor job.

We had a few leaks in our roof and found J&K on Angie's List. Mike came out to give us an estimate and, after talking with him, we felt so good about his knowledge and expertise that we agreed on the spot to accept the estimate and get the work done. Just a few days later we received a call that they were ready to start. We had two valleys and a spot above a window repaired. Kevin and Don were amazing. It was 90 degrees on the ground, so I can't imagine what the temp was on the roof. They removed the tiles carefully so as to reuse them and took great care to clean up any debris. They kept us informed every step of the way and were very cordial and friendly. We were very impressed with their skills and work ethic. Now we are ready for hurricane season with a roof that won't leak. Would definitely recommend J&K as an honest, local business with fair pricing.

The entire experience with J & K Roofing was excellent!! Julio was very professional, knew his products and provided an all inclusive great experience. It is rare these days that you come across a company that that fulfills all its promises and obligations. In this case, Julio and J & K Roofing exceeded my expectations. After each visit from the workers, the entire property was combed over and kept immaculate. The end results of quality and craftsmanship were 5 star. They repaired a leak along a valley.

I scheduled an initial appointment for an estimate with this company for Saturday Feb 16, at 1200 for my father in Miami. No one showed. After waiting for 2 hours, I called them and spoke with another individual and no one knew what was going on. I then spoke with another gentleman who assured me that someone would contact me immediately. I did not receive a call until the following week and at that time I told them I was no longer interested in their service. I apologize that I didn’t get any names, but they know who they are!

The job was completed late and the cleanliness and communication was extremely poor. I directly spoke with their tile distributor and the manufacturer in order to speed up the process. Delays of the tile were by the manufacturer but J&K offered very little help or creative thinking to help smooth out the process. After discussion with the manufacturer, I was able to have a slight change of color of my tile and get it here a month sooner. I chose J&K at a higher cost because of there great reviews and the hope that I would receive a level of service that would match the price tag. Instead, I got terrible communication and found nails all over my property day after day. My hope is the quality of the job will be done to last, time will tell.

From start to finish, J&K was excellent. Scheduling was a breeze. They sent 3 highly experienced people to perform the job. No other company wanted to repair a leak, and all said I needed a new roof. J&K was honest and advised that the roof had many years of life left, and not only fixed the leak, but warranted their work, which means they stand behind it. When I do need a new roof, they will be on my short list of companies that I call. Honest company with lots of integrity..

Very happy from start to finish. They were prompt with the quote and with service, showed up on time, and their price was very competitive.

I called for an estimate and they showed up on time with a very competitive quote, though not the lowest. With an Angie's List discount however, they were even with my other preferred vendor. The other vendor promised a quote in twenty four hours and I got it a week and a half later. I had actually called other companies for quotes as I had given up on them. They didn't return two calls and a text thru their website. If that was while trying to get the job, what kind of response could be expected if something went amiss. J&K showed up when they said they would. They had already repaired a number of houses in the community with exactly the same problem. They said they would be out within a few days for the repair and they were there the next day. From my conversation with the foreman, I believe the leak is fixed and will stay that way. I received the discount as promised. The whole experience was excellent from beginning to end. As of this writing, I would go to them for any future problems

We had to call them back several times when they did not complete the job we were quoted for. The roofers said they repaired areas that they didn’t even touch. The supervisor, Mike, was the only professional and responsible person. It’s was too bad he did not do the work. This work was done back in December and the only reason I am writing this review now is Lyons Roofing just came to do additional work, and go over what J & K failed to do. They did everything and then some (inc. painting the fascia which J&K did not). I hired J&K for their superb Angie’s list review. But it wasn’t superb for me. Lyon’s was.

Repair went well, but I think I over paid it was very expensive but was the only company I could get to come and give me an estimate

They were extremely punctual and responsive and came out to complete the work on a Sunday. Everything was explained as they went along and they left my yard spotless.

Sammy came out; he called when he was on his way to give us a heads up. I was pleasantly surprised at his honesty. We are first time homeowners and he found us a less expensive way to get the work done, explaining to us that our roof should still be under warranty and even helping me find out the company that did the roof replacement. He could have easily given me a quote and made the $1200, but his honesty was amazing and saved us money!

I called them up on Thursday, they stopped over to provide an estimate on Sunday and fixed the problem on Monday. The price was reasonable and the leak is gone.

I couldn't be happier with the responsiveness, service and HONESTY I received from J&K roofing. Other roofers who evaluated our problem weren't interested in doing a small repair -- they wanted to upsell us on a whole new roof. But after inspecting the leak area, Mike from J&K said a repair was all that was needed. I called to request an estimate on a Wednesday, Mike was here Thursday morning, and by Friday, his 3-man crew -- headed by Chris -- was at our house as promised, and completed the repair in just 3.5 hours. Chris inspected the entire roof while he was here and gave me an assessment on the life of my roof. I will know if the repair solved the problem the next time it rains, but there is a one year warranty on their work, which gives me peace of mind. When the time comes to re-roof, I will definitely call J&K.

Sammy, quite the southern gentleman! Very personable, and his assistant, Kevin was pleasant as well. Was very quick to press for a full re-roof. Also was pressing to know how soon I would be able to sign a contract. I kindly let him know that it would be as soon as my husband made the decision. Then they proceeded to put down other companies that I was seeking estimates from, despite the NUMEROUS positive reviews from my neighbors about one company, in particular. I know he was trying to 'close the deal' and inform the customer of potential hazards... etc.,(and I can appreciate him looking out for the customer!) however there was just something that in how it was stated that rubbed me the right way. He quoted the price, asked flat out if I would be going with them, and asked if he needed to bother with a proposal. I asked kindly, with a 'yes, please. Just to have something to show.' He was fair in not wanting to waste the paper. I always like to have a piece of paper to go back to in the end. Thank you J&K for the prompt estimate!

IT WENT AMAZING I WAS WORRIED I HAD TO REPLACE MY FLAT ROOF. THE ROOFER KENNY CAME OVER THE DAY AFTER I CALLED HE FOUND THE PROBLEM RIGHT AWAY. NO NEED TO REPLACE ROOF. THE DAY AFTER IT WAS REPAIRED NEAT AND PROFESSIONAL WORK. NO MORE NEED FOR A BUCKET IN MY FLORIDA ROOM. SAVED ALOT OF MONEY MOST ROOFERS WOULD WANT TO REPLACE THE ROOF TO MAKE MORE MONEY. VERY HONEST COMPANY WILL USE AGAIN

So far it’s been good . No more leaks

Came out immediately for an estimate and perform the work the next day completely. Resolved all roof problems. Would definitely hire again.

My wife spoke with Don on Oct 13th to schedule an estimate. Don indicated we did not need to be home for them to come out and survey the existing roof in order for them to prepare the estimate. He said they would have someone come out to our house by the end of the following week. One of us was home at all times during this time and nobody from J & K came by. We had other roofers stop by, but nobody from J & K and no estimate. Maybe they are too busy with repairs and re-roofs following the hurricane, but the lack of follow-up is inexcusable. Based on their rating here and the number of positive reviews I was very hopeful they would have a competitive estimate, but based on the reliability i would be very hesitant to use them. I've heard horror stories and seen what neighbors have gone through with roofs taking 3-4 times as long as they should.

They were able to send someone quite soon after I called. Every other roofing company is very behind after the hurricane. That was the only positive trait. The man who came looked at the stain. He did not look in the attic. He did not even asked where the attic is. He went outside and never got on the roof. He just looked from the street. It is a 2-story house, what can he see from there???? He gave me an outrageous estimate of $1800 saying we have to replace the exhaust vent. I had 2 other people look at our roof, walking inside the attic and on top of the roof and we DO NOT need to replace the vent.

As usual J&k Roofing did a wonderful job. My wife called them 1 day after the hurricane and was able to speak to someone. From start to finish they were courteous polite and on time which is a major plus. The gentleman that came out today was even nice enough to touch up my ceiling that was stained from the water leak. This is not our first experience with J&K Roofing and we will definitely recommend them to our friends and neighbors. Donnie and his employees are a rare find is S. Florida. Don't hesitate to call them for your roofing needs.

With no response from the company after leaving multiple messages, including once when I actually spoke with Don, who told me he couldn’t take a message because he would only lose it, there was no progress.
