This is a follow up to the original review. I had a leak repair done at the beginning of June and have had lots of rain ☔️ since then without issues. Now a day after Irma came through with hurricane strong winds and driving rain my roof is still doing well. Confirmation that the work was done properly.

Their availability how quickly they came out that's why we chose them. They were always on time.

The repairs went very well. The roof techs did a very nice job. The work done in April and as of date, Aug 18, 2017, no leaks. What more could you ask for.

Lots of contractors are cherry picking roof repair jobs these days and only pursue biggest ones. These folks were punctual to both quote job and do the work a few days later. Very professional. Would use again.

Fast, efficient, and very accommodating when we had to change the appointment time due to our scheduling. The inspection went smoothly and we were given the estimate of what was needed. The repair was done quickly and the roof no longer leaks.

The price they quoted me was actually higher than a competitor, however, they were doing additional work that the other company didn't address. I felt comfortable with their approach and reasoning so we went with J & K Roofing. They were extremely prompt and professional. There was an issue with our homeowners assn. letting them come in on a holiday and they dealt with it extremely professionally. They came back the following day and finished up the job. I would hire them again without a doubt.

BEWARE OF WARRANTY. This company tells you that the warranty for the roof shingles they install is 25 years. In reality, for the first 10 years they repair your leaks with no problem. Response was great. After 10 years, we were on our own to go directly to the manufacturer of the shingles after discovering that the singles were defective. We are now responsible for paying the cost of replacing the defective shingles with neither J & K nor the manufacturer of the shingles willing to cover the cost. My roof was installed May 2002, making it only 15 years old. I have been dealing with this issue for over 5 years after discovering the shingles were defective ( manufacture by Owens corning roofing and asphalt ). J & K do not care to back me up on the warranty. I recommend not doing business with this company. NOTE: in respond to the BBB FROM J&K ROOFING, Yes you have made multiple repairs (2) FIRST 10 years. I'm complaining about - after the 10 years my WARRANTY STATED 25 YEARS --NOT 10, When I first decided to do business I thought I was dealing with a FIRST CLASS COMPANY NOT A OVER NIGHT COMPANY, ......... BEWARE !!! ( THESE DAYS WE STAY LONGER IN OUR HOMES ) SO BEWARE OF WARRANTY FROM J&K ROOFING .......

Job finished on time and as described.

I can't complain at all. Any concerns were consistently resolved to our mutual satisfaction.

They came out on time, repaired the roof, and all is good.

First off I appreciate the fact that this company returned my call. I have had such difficulty not only with roofing but many different services simply returning my call. They came out on a Sunday and identified the problem and projected they'd fit me in towards the end of the week. I received a call that same day asking if I would be available the next day for the repair. They were extremely punctual both times, all the gentlemen with whom I spoke were knowledgeable and shared information with me regarding the problem and the repair.

I called them around 9:00 am Saturday and by 10:45 Chris was already here. He informed me of his findings, gave me a price for the repair. The job was started that afternoon and fingers crossed no more leaks. I say fingers crossed because that was just yesterday, it has been raining ☔️ on and off since and it's okay as far as I can tell. They were all very professional and friendly and cleaned up after finishing the job.

They did some patch work to start with in October, and they said that it would be better to do the roof after hurricane season and it would be less expensive. They did a great job. They were polite. They covered the drive way so that the dumpster would not mar the drive way. They stayed till the end of the day every day. The clean up was much better than other roofers we have used. They were very conscience. They were every responsive when we had to call them between the two times.

They came back out because I was having an issue and they identified that it was a problem with my gutters. They advised me of what I should do next to take care of the issue.

really bad experience with the worker

Owner (Donny) was out of control. Never showed for scheduled appointment.

Excellent results. Met these folks two years ago. I found them on Angie's List when I need a repair over the garage. Met with three companies and J & K was the most responsive and honest. When I decided to replace the roof along with a lot of rotted facia, I got a quote from them which was very competitive. Sammy's communication throughout the project was amazing. They finished when they said they would and the house looks great. Neighbors have commented on how perfect the roof came out. Chris was on hand to supervise and make sure all the details were covered. It passed the Weston inspection with no issues. These folks really are wonderful to work with.

We hired J&K Roofing to fix what we thought was a roof leak. Chris was very friendly, prompt, and above all, honest. He advised that after opening the roof where the suspected leak was, it was not a roof issue but rather an issue with our A/C vent in the attic. He put back the roof tiles and did not charge us anything. I have never had such an amazing experience with any company conducting repair work. This company has earned my business for years to come!

Looks great! Took a little longer than anticipated. Possibly due to rain. Happy with results. Plus they patched a leak to keep us dry while permits were being pulled.

They did good work. I will use them again if needed.

The entire process went very well. I was impressed with this company as soon as I called several weeks ago. As I did not have a roof leak, just the need to have some tiles replaced, they told me to call back once the rainy season came to an end because it would be less expensive! This was impressive. Once I called them back, within just a few days they had given me an estimate, ordered replacement tiles and got the work done! Easy. Excellent price. Quality work!

I originally said that they were very good I had a leak and they came and fixed it and when they fix that leak, thew guys that were up there said there is another spot over here that doesn't look too well this before I had the new roof put on and so they do you want us to fix it and I said yeah okay and I thought it was really nice they didn't charge me to fix the other spot. Well there was a bad rain storm I had a problem with the spot that they fixed that they didn't charge me for so I called them and the guy that came out and I said they had fixed this before and they said well we didn't charge you for it the first time and it was less than a year we can't fix it for free I mean they charge me a lot just to fix the one spot, it was expensive just to fix the one spot fix. The guy was nasty when I called, the guy who came out was very nice but the guy on phone at the office very gruff and nasty and I go well forget that.

They did an excellent job. I have recommended them to friends.
