Description of Work: Did a complete re-roof on combination pitch and flat top roof. |I was in a real bind as part of my flat top had rot and I got a major leak. I called Donnie on Tuesday morning and he had a man out later that day to give an initial estimate. On Wednesday morning Sammy came out at 730 AM and covered all the bases for a re-roof answering all my questions. We came to terms and at 1PM I had men patching the hole to get me by till the real job began. |What followed seemed like a miracle. |Friday morning Donnie called to tell me that the crew would start work Monday morning first thing. |The crew worked well past dark and was ready to shingle that night. |During the process, someone from J&K maintained communications with me each day. |Thursday evening the job was finished and the permits were signed off Friday. |To say that I am grateful would be an understatement. My sanity was literally saved. |This company does business the way all businesses should; with no BS and a ton of integrity. |The price was within my range of expectations and the quality of work excellent.

Description of Work: The estimator and the roofers were punctual and accomplished exactly what we needed... to seal up a leak in my sons room. All of the other companies we called could not come any earlier than 3 to 5 days and then needed to schedule the repair "sometime" in the future. We cannot comment on the quality of the material or repair since we are still not sure it completely solved the problem, but the roofers took my husband on the roof, explained their work and showed him the repair. Very satisfied with customer service and with price. Will call them again if needed.

I requested Monday morning and the crew showed up on time and got right to work. They were very polite, professional, and friendly.

Description of Work: Chris came out to give me an estimate, and was very fair with me. He was so warm and receptive that I actually suggested my mother contact this company to do an emergency patch on her roof that was seriously leaking as soon as the rain really started coming down in this area. Mike and Byron were out to her house the very same day, and she was absolutely astonished when she learned the price they were charging. This made my heart feel so good, because my mother is 92 and is easily taken advantage of. That following Saturday, Mike and Byron came to my house to repair my roof, and they also did an incredible job on mine, as well. They even pointed out an area that was leaking, that was originally undetected, and fixed it for the very same price. I can't speak highly enough of the kindness and professionalism shown by not only these two gentlemen, but the company in its entirety. I would recommend them highly and wholeheartedly to anyone.

J & K Roofing went to the properties, made a carefully inspection and determined that no roofing repais were warranted. We found them very professional; and we will call them in any need for roofing problems.

Description of Work: J & K did great. I arranged appointments with six contractors and selected J & K for their representative, Phil, and their price. They obtained the permit as explained on the following Monday, stripped and dried in the shingle roof as well as a hot tar section. After inspection they completed the shingling and did a complete cleanup. Start to finish, four days. And after explaining that I was a Angie's List member, Phil took a hundred off. Description of Work: They came out and did the job and left. They called 10 times to get their money. The roof was okay. I felt like the company over charged me a little. They weren't going to paint the wall around the flat roof until I said something. They did the job expediently, within a week they were done.

Description of Work: Complete reroof of ranch and patio flat roof, bringing up to code. The roofing team was great. They came in and did the tear off and put the felt down in one day as well as replacing rotted wood in the flat roof. Unfortunately, a nail was driven into our a/c refrigerant line and we had no a/c that night. The next day we called in an a/c repair and the hole was welded and the system recharged. J&K split the $320 repair bill with us. Two roofers came back to shingle. Most of the roof was shingled but there weren't enough shingles to complete the job. We had to wait until the next day and more shingles for the roof to be completed. Flat roof was done well. All in all I was pleased with the job the J&K did on my roof. |It was a decent price for a better than decent job. |My only "complaint" is that they should have looked in the attic to make sure the a/c line was clear of any possible damage before they began the job.

Description of Work: J&K replaced my roof in 2006 after Hurricane wilma and did a great job. Since my insurance company required repaires to my roof, they just did warranty repairs on my roof (fixing several shingles that were raised, replacing a facia board that had cracked) as well as new work related to several items - repair hole where electrical service pole used to be, replace main facia on side of house, remove and replace vertical boards with stucco. Gene was especially helpful in documenting all the issues and the fixes, explaining what he would do an being onsite to complete the repairs.

Description of Work: I called them needing a speedy estimate on roof repair.....they were out the next morning. It took a few days of back and forth to get the estimate but that was due some extenuating circumstances. I would definitely use them in the future.
