They were fast and professional.

after inspection of leak areas and roof - I was handed a contract with the cost for re-roof and a pamplet of available tiles. I was not given any other information regarding the re-roof, example time frame, explanaition of materials that would be used, etc. I was only advised if anyone said they could repair the roof - it was not advised.

WE NEEDED A TOTAL ROOF REPLACEMENT AND THEY WERE FAST AND PROFESSIONAL. I WILL USE THEM AGAIN WHEN IT IS TIME TO REPLACE OUR ROOF AGAIN

From the time K & S was contacted, everything went along five. Their response was immediate and Kenny came to evaluate the job and do an estimate. He was clear, not pushy. Explained the procedure and the time involved and gave an economic estimate. We agreed right then to do it and set the date, He did it on a saturday morning which was convenient for me. The work was done quickly and efficiently. He did explain what had been done and showed proof of the problem that he found. I was very happy with the job done and with the attitude of Kenny at all times.

It went well. They came the time that they said they would come. It had rained the day after they were done and it didn't leak, so the job was well done. They sent me some pictures after and they are very professional. They will work with you on the price. I would definitely use them again and refer them to anyone else who needs a roofer.

I had the flat roof over a porch and single car garage inspected by J&K for a leaky roof. The representative was very polite and professional when he called to schedule the initial inspection and evaluation. He showed up on time and reviewed the area making his notes. He asked me if I wanted to repair or replace the roof, based on his and comparable reports for other roofing companies we decided to do a replacement. The process was explained, for the permitting, roofing materials to be used, along with the reasoning for each corrective measures. I found working with this company stress less. Everything was documented in black and white, pricing was in line with other bids. Variables were also covered just to avoid issues if a need arose to reschuled. Thankfully there were no delays and the work was done in a manner I felt was not only professional but respectful of my property and that of my neighbors. The crew showed up right on time and just went to work like they had the plan down. The final was preformed just as efficiently and under the terms of the agreement, J&K called to schedule an appointment to bring my copies of the project documents and collect their final payment. Everything happened just like I was told it would. They even touched up blighted roofing tiles that were mis-matched to provide a fresh and finished roof visible from the curb. One last note, the city building inspection department happened by, the inspector asked for the permits and after short discussion with the crew and reviewing the work in progress assured me I had made a good choice and would be receiving a high-qualiy new roof.

An inspector was able to come to my house a day after I called, in the evening after I got home from work. He inspected the roof, explained the problem, gave me a price, and said he could have the work scheduled for that Saturday morning. The price was a bit more than I expected but this gentleman was very professional. The roofers arrived punctually on Saturday and worked until the job was finished. My husband paid with a check, and subsequently I received a call from the company letting me know that my husband had forgotten to deduct the 10% Angie's List coupon from the payment. I received a refund check for the difference within days. (So far the work appears to be of good quality; we will know more when we get some heavy rain. That's why I did not rate the company on this criterion, but I have no reason to believe we will have any quality issues.)

Work was sloppy. The "mud" on the roof tiles that were replaced are a mess. Instead of using the same brand and color tiles we had provided, they used white tiles. Billy/Owner promised to return 3 times to clean up the mud and replace the tiles. He never showed up. In the end I paid another company to correct the shoddy work.

Billy Hart was the estimator who came to assess the situation and he was very professional and kind,He took pictures of the problem areas and sent it to me and also gave me some advice on how to fix it as it was not that difficult of a job to do,I really appreciate his honesty and his professionalism.I would recommend J&K roofing to my friends and family.

What a wonderful experience. They arrived early and Gene and Rick were very professional. They cleaned up after they were finished. I would highly recommend them and will tell all my friends about my great experience!

The experience was absolutely great. The end result was truly unexpected as far as the quality of work, cleanliness, the timely manner in the completion of the job and above all the professionalism of all workers (and everyone spoke English)!!!

Chris from J and K sat down with me and explained from start to finish what J and K was going to do. He also showed me samples of material to be used that is exactly the way ti happened. Cleaned up was excellent.

We scheduled four roofers to estimate our roof on the same day. Chris from J&K Roofing was the only one who actually climbed up and then spent more than an hour generating a very detailed estimate report and explained to us with great patience. We in fact learned a lot about roofing from his explanations and was instantly convinced. To our delightful surprise, their estimated price was indeed the lowest while offering many more extra services. Chris even reminded us to utilize the $100 off coupon from Angie's list. When it comes to the actual work, their efficacy is as good as they promised. The workers are always punctuate and very professional. They ripped the roof off and replaced the bad wood pieces on the first day, inspected on the second day, and then finished installing the shingles on the third day. Not a single piece of junk was left behind. The finished roof was inspected again until they feel the job was satisfactorily done. Pictures were taken to show the replaced woods as well as the "hurricane strip" as they promised. They also eliminated the no longer working attic fan and replace it with two vents. And the final price was exactly the same as was on the initial contract, minus the coupon value of course. We are 100% happy wit J&K Roofing and will definitely recommend them to anyone that needing any kind of roofing works.

I was scammed by another roofing company which I did not research on Angies List. Unfortunately I was scammed. After this I looked for a company on Angies list that would fix my roof leak and not rip me off. Luckily I found Billy and J&K Roofing. They were the first to come out and give me an estimate and Billy was very informative and profesional. All the work was performed exactly as promised and on time. I feel very lucky to have such a wonderful company help me with my needs. I would highly recommend Billy and J&K Roofing for any roofing work. Keep up the good work!

After many heavy rain storms in our area, our roof began to leak in several places. The men had to remove tiles, underneath tar papers, also replace some rotten wood on our 21 year old tile roof. After much rain, and more leaking ... they successfully solved the problems. Everything was replaced, repainted, and they cleaned up everywhere so you'd never even know they were here.They were very knowledgable and worked long hours. We would recommend this company. They are eager to please.

everything is fine - no leaking since the repair. They weren't the cheapest estimate but it isn't always just about price. This is the second time we have used them & would use them again !

4/20 We noticed water leaks on the ceiling of our dining room. Water was dripping down the light fixture damaging my dining room table. We have had this leak fixed twice in the past 8 years,by other roofers, most recently after Wilma. I found J&K on Angie's list and called them 1st thing Monday.Later that morning Billy came by and immediately spotted the problem. I'm not fluent in the lingo but he was able to explain how the previous patches didn't address the real problem. I was going to get 3 estimates but felt comfortable enough with this company to hire them at that point. The crew showed up at 7:30 the next morning. They were very professional. One even went into my attic to assess the damage. This was something the other company's guy never did before patching the leak. I was impressed with their thoroughness. They fixed the problem as opposed to just patching the leak. The workers were great and the roof was done by that afternoon. I waited until after this weeks deluge to report no more leaks!!!! I'm confident that this problem is now fixed. I paid much less the previous times I had the leak fixed by the other companies...BUT they never fixed the problem. You get what you pay for and I now have piece of mind. I would definitely hire J&K Roofing again if the need arises.

Good overall experience. We compared prices between two roofers, and J&K came out to be about $300 less. They were very professional. They finished the job in a timely manner, and left the site neat and clean. We're left to see how good the repair is, since we are now in the dry season. Would recommend.

I am 100% happy with this company and would definitely recommend them. They were very professional and did really quality work. They removed my old roof and replaced it with a new one. They did an extra step of using hot asphalt and metal flashing in the valleys. They were also very competitively priced.

I definitely recommend these guys! I had multiple leaks in my existing roof. Billy came out to my house for an estimate. He was right on time and took the time to really examine my roof and give me a detailed estimate of exactly what they would do. Including taking pictures along the way which I could use to get a lower rate on my hazard insurance. He explained that they do a special wet mop of hot asphalt over a 36" wide strip of 30lb felt vertically and a 16" wide galv. valley metal in all valleys. Which is something most roofers don't do.I was very impressed with the attention to detail and profesionalism. They also guaranty their work to be leak free for ten years! I would definately use these guys again and reccommend them to my family and friends.

I contacted this company, and three others, to come to our house and provide us with an estimate of some very much needed roof repair work. They were very professional in scheduling the appointment for the estimate, which they did on my first call. I noticed that they were very thorough in their review of the damage and provided us with a very detailed description of the issue and what they needed to do to repair it. I advised them that I had a coupon and they were thrilled to know that we'd found them on Angie's list!!! After seeing all the other companies and receiving their estimates, we decided to go with J&K Roofing. They were not the least expensive but they had provided us with the highest level of comfort to hire them. I called them to schedule an appointment and faxed them the estimate with the coupon. I waited a day to hear back from them (was concerned about rain) and called them back. When I did, they advised that the repairmen would come to the house the next day at 8am. I was pleasantly surprised to hear this and, more so, that they arrived at 7:45am instead! Talk about punctuality! The workers worked all day, we were able to see what they'd done prior to them covering the work with the tiles and we were really happy with the outcome. I highly recommend doing business with J&K Roofing! Thank you!
