Perfect - arrived on time and did the work efficiently and promptly.

Charlie was very professional and polite. The company that installed the door had put the bottom lock in upside down. Charlie fixed that and an old one that had been upside down for years.

We made our selections, and Charlie arrived the next day, (at precisely the time he promised). Within a couple of hours he had removed all of the old hardware, installed all of the new locks, and left the doors looking better than when he arrived. Great service and they were open on Saturday. As always, hiring a locksmith or repairman is scary because of the fear of getting ripped off but the headache and the fear was taken out of this experience. ,The locksmith was prompt, professional and nice. He made the aggravating experience of getting locked out of you own house a lot less stressful.

He answered my message promptly, came out the very next day. Was very professional with service and work. I didn't know that a double deadbolt counts as 2 locks, but was still happy to get the work done. 3 double deadbolt locks were rekeyed.

General Locksmith was on time, communicated perfectly and did a great job! Charlie is super nice and did wonderful work. His prices are fair (excellent, actually); you don't feel ripped off. He changed the lock (or re-keyed it or whatever it's called where you get new keys/different keys for the lock) and gave me 4 copies that work perfectly, testing each one. He ended up coming back right after he left because i realized that i needed a padlock cut off. Such a nice guy!

Charlie showed up and was able to immediately access the problem. He repaired the deadbolt installation and now it is working properly. It took him less than 30 minutes to do it. He was courteous and professional, i would not hesitate to call on him again.

It was not good. What happened is, he came and he did not fix the problem. He said he was going to come back and never came back again. He charged us too. We tried reaching out to him several times and he said he was waiting for parts. It was not a large amount. So we stopped following up on it. It was not expensive.

Charlie was great. He was professional, fast, fair, and he went above and beyond by readjusting plates on doors so they shut tighter and were more secure. He really care about the work and the customer. He treats it as his craft and he's excellent at it.

Called to have my front door lock re-keyed. I was given an estimated time-frame for him to be in my area. He called me when he was about an hour out. He showed up, and very quickly took care of business. I got 4 keys with the new locks. He was very nice and I always appreciate good service, which is hard to find sometimes in South Florida. When I told him I was referred to by angie's list, he gave me a great deal. I would definitely recommend General Locksmith and will use them again in the future!

A rarity in South Florida--he responded to my request within a few hours. When we spoke, he told me the price, which seemed reasonable for the work I needed. Although I was not in a rush to have the work done that day, he was near my neighborhood, and so he came later in the afternoon. He did the work as contracted, gave me a few pointers regarding my hardware, cleaned up, and honored his quote. A very painless experience, again, a rarity in South Florida. I will use him again when my doors are replaced.
