other than hurricane Irma, delayed the roof start, not Johnston roofing fault . but after the hurricane they got started, and completed the roof as promised. great job.

Had repairs to do in Pinecrest property. Someone came out and gave us an estimate. We have the deposit of $450 and all was great. The. Hurricane came and we needed a new roof. Now impossible to get a call back from a rep. Tried calling a dozen of times and crickets. Not happy at all. And feel I would not be able to recommend them to anyone. You'd think they'd want business.

They were extremely professional. I had five estimates, theirs was the most expensive, but most thorough. They went above and beyond, inspecting my attic thoroughly to find the source of the leak, and even had to unexpectedly fix the shoddy work that Rocky’s Roofing did on my roof. Very pleased. My only complaint is they did leave a bit of a mess in the front yard - sand, nails, and my old tarp. He told me he had left the sandbags and tarp, but truthfully I was surprised when I came home and the sand was all over the mulch.

I had a terrible time getting someone out here with the hurricane. They told me it only had a one year warranty. The man said it wasn't done properly the first time, it was open all around the edges. It took them a week to call me back and then a week to come out.

During Hurricane Irma I noted a small leak in the ceiling. I called them the following day and had scheduled an inspection/estimate. The employee was on time and went into the attic to look at the area in question and noted that there was a vent directly above the area of leaking. He stated that the wood looked great and did not show any evidence of active leak. He stated that during those hurricane conditions with the wind and difference of pressure it creates a vacuum effect in that vent and water can come in and thus created what I experienced. There was not repair needed to the roof and then that concluded my estimate. That showed me that they were honest and didn't want to just get money and invent a problem that didn't exist. This experience reaffirmed my appreciation and trust in this company. I would use them in the past without any hesitation. Thanks!!

Sales rep was very helpful and explained everything clearly. Follow-up phone call the next day to see if we had questions/concerns. Work was started on Labor Day Monday, just before Hurricane Irma hit. We were worried about the timing, but everything was done on time to our satisfaction, surprise and relief! They came back the week after the storm to check the shingles and spent less than 30 minutes repairing curled shingles (and one that flew off). Passed final inspection that week! Awesome work! Awesome follow-up! Definitely recommend and we'd hire again.

Only one kid came out, he finished the job in about 6 hours, and I paid my $1600. Fast-forward 12 months. My son's room started leaking in the SAME EXACT SPOT down the wall. I called them out, they looked at it, went in my attic and said they found the problem. They handed me a quote for $1200. When I said I assumed it would be next to nothing, since it was obviously not done correctly the first time, the man said he would talk to the owner and call me. Their new quote was $900.

Mike arrived at the agreed upon time. He took before and after pictures of the work that he performed and showed them to me. He did an excellent job.

I was referred to Earl Johnston by one of my Christion friends. They said that they were very pleased with their roof so I trusted them. I called Earl Johnston and made an appt for them to come and give me an estimate. Their estimate was reasonable so I waited until I had saved up the money, then I callled them to come out for me to sign the papers for them to start the work. They arrived very early and started to work immediately. They were fast, did not waste any time and did a great job! I was so concerned at first because I have never had to replace a roof so I knew it would be almost like buying a house, very stressful! Well, I learned later that it wasn't as stressful as I thought it would be! it didnt take them long at all to remove the old roof and replace it with the new one! I had a lot of rotten wood that needed to be replaced and they did that as well. The reason for the "B" rating on the price, is because I didnt realize how much rotten wood I had. It was almost $3,000.00 more than the estimate, but that was not their fault. Overall, they did a great job! I was very pleased with how everything turned out. I would hire them again and recommend my friends.

Every step of the project was done professionally and timely. I am confident that my roof will last a long time and it's beautiful.

I paid 2500 for this repair and got NO customer service. We had previously used earl Johnston to re-roof Cooper City home along with a couple of our neighbors. We will not be using this roofer in the future or recommend to anyone. We have since sold this home but when you have paid for a repair the company should honor their one year guarantee

Well, they came twice and fixed it.

They came out on time and provided me with a quotes for Roof Replacement, which was one of the options, but they never sent me a quote for just a repair. I email them and called them multiple times and never got a response back from them. I went with another company because of their lack of response and call back.

Earl W. Johnson Roofing did repairs at my home. It was a positive experience all around, from the reasonable cost, to flexible scheduling, to solid repairs, to clean up. I closely observed - - step by step - - how the pleasant 2-man crew did repairs - - “the right way”. First they carefully removed and set aside for reuse a section of barrel roof tiles, thus exposing the water damaged section of roofing underneath. All of that old was ripped out and removed down to the exposed rafters. They replaced the section of damaged plywood roof board, then rebuilt and waterproofed each new roofing layer. Finally, they did a beautiful job reattaching the matching original masonry roof tiles. You couldn't even tell any repairs had been done. Thank you guys!

Company was unable to service my roof. I was told that the roof needed to be replaced, and the company does not service the multi unit attached homes individually.. refund requested
