Over the 17 years we have been in our house I have called other roofers, and ALWAYS go with Earl Johnson. Mike, the estimate guy, needs more accolades than there is room. ON TIME! Nice, honest! Hard working, on & on..... Their price is usually the fairest, and their work and workers are spot on. Dealing with the sale of our house, with a 22 yr old roof, has been made easier because of Mike and Earl Johnson!!! Such good advice on exactly what to worry about and what not to! Got a re-roof estimate up front to present to buyers, had any small repairs done, and no leaks, all written up to present to buyers. Couldnt have been so confident without Mike!

The estimate was fine. It's for a property I'm buying and I just haven't decided if I want to put money in renovating this house or I might just knock it down and start over. I'd give them a very high rating. Everything was fine. They showed up when they should have. I think they did a nice job presenting what their proposal was. They talked about the product that they use. Everything was fine. They were professional. They just seemed to have a lot of experience. They had realistic quote. They just gave you a feeling that they are reliable. I had other quotes and it wasn't the cheapest.

Extremely thorough, professional, and fair. Everyone I have interacted with continues to go over and above my expectations.

Mike came to my home to look at a damaged area located near the gutters on my two-story roof. He was prompt, friendly, and informative. After taking a closer look, he determined that the repair would be better suited for a gutter specialist rather than a roofer. He even provided me with a gutter referral. I sincerely appreciated his honesty and the fact that he went above and beyond in providing me with a more appropriate referral. Would definitely recommend Earl Johnston Roofing and especially Mike!

They were very professional and came on time. They were good workers and we had no problems. At the end of the day everything was cleaned up and you wouldn't even have known they were there. They basically did an excellent job and we have no leaks!

They came out to do a free estimate. Estimator was on time and very professional. He immediately diagnosed the problem (which another roofer had been unable to do) and presented a printed estimate. He answered a few questions I had. We called the office a few days later and accepted the estimate and scheduled the repair. The repair was scheduled for the very next day. The repair men arrived on time and were also very professional and courteous. They explained what they were going to do and about how long it would take. After a few hours, the leak was fixed, the soffit wood and facia were replaced and everything looked like new. We had a heavy rain the night after the repair and everything seems to be holding up nicely. Definitely recommend.

Bad. Left me at square one to go calling roofers again, getting more quotes.

Johnston was the only roofer who proposed the correct solution to fix a lingering problem I have had with water leaking into my masonry exterior wall along the roof edge. The crew was on time, performed and excellent job and cleaned up after themselves.

Made an appointment with Johnston roofing to get an estimate for broken tile, and to replace a missing tile. All went well with the scheduling of the appointment, and the follow up call to confirm appointment. Mike Wilde was on time very polite, completed the estimate, gave me literature about the company, insurance information, Angie's list awards, and a proposal for services. I appreciated the professionalism, and decided to go with this company. The problems began at this time. I called the company several times in an attempt to get clarification of the proposal, but to no avail. The person who answer the phone alerted me to email Mike Wilde. I sent him a detailed email of my questions to be answered. As of this date no response! I called the company again, and was told Mike Wilde is not in, and would contact me. Again, no call from Mike Wilde. No, I would not contact, or recommend this company to anyone in my neighborhood, or any neighborhood. I'm assuming my job was a small one, and this company did not want to spend time with such a small job? For most part, if this is so I should have been given this information so that I could move on to another company. THIS IS BAD BUSINESS!

I called them last week to report a leak and expressed the urgency as I was having new hardwood floors installed. They came out the next morning. You rally can't beat that. Thanks to Meg for expediting this and for being very nice.

From the very beginning I felt comfortable with Mike. He was on time, not "salesy" and very knowledgeable. We knew exactly what we wanted in terms of materials (GAF 50 yr warranty roofing system). Mike was nice enough to provide the location of homes with the color of shingles we were considering so we could see them installed. They handled everything. Permits were pulled promptly and they started right on time. Everything was finished up and cleaned up in just a few days. All communication was prompt, professional, and pleasant. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I definitely recommend this company!

First to call me on 2/15/16 to set appointment but fail to asked if I had a mobile home. So, I called 2/18/16 and funded out their was no service for mobile home which I think they would of made a excellent job!

Excellent value; All aspects of the repair were top quality and professional. COMMUNICATION: Right from the start, Johnston Roofing demonstrated excellent communication practices. I was kept informed throughout the process and responses to my calls and emails were always timely. I was kept informed of when the salesperson would visit, when permits were obtained, when the work would begin, when the roof inspection was done, and when the work was fully completed. Communication among company representatives was also excellent. Whenever salespeople are involved, I'm always concerned that their promises aren't always communicated to those individuals that need to fulfill those promises. In this case, every detail of the work that was agreed-to with the salesperson (Mike) was accurately communicated to the staff that performed the work. PERSONNEL: All calls to Johnston roofing were always handled professionally and courteously. My primary interaction was with Mike (salesperson) - especially during the earlier stages. Mike did an excellent job at explaining every detail of the process. He was knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant. Mike helped in other ways too - he pointed-out a coupon that offered significant savings, helped us find nearby houses with the roof colors we were considering, quickly made updates to the contract when necessary, and was patient in addressing the multitude of questions that my wife and I had. He was very responsive all throughout the process and was a significant factor in our selection of Johnston Roofing. VALUE: Johnston Roofing provided the lowest bid, which made our decision an easy one. However, Johnston also provided the best value, which is even more important to me than lowest cost. Had all bids been equal, I would have still selected Johnston Roofing. When you compare what Johnston Roofing offered in contrast to the competing bids, Johnston was the clear winner. Let's start with the ridge vent. Johnston was the only bidding company that offered - or even mentioned - a ridge vent (spans the entire roof line and replaces those ugly turbines and J-vents). Secondly, Johnston included 200 sq. ft. of wood in their base price, compared to 100 sq. ft. on all other bids. And third, Johnston included the installation of three new vents near each bathroom [for the bathroom exhaust fans]. And most importantly, the quality of the finished product was excellent. All this, and they were still the lowest bid.

They were great! This was during December 2015 and January 2016. Due to previous commitments and the holidays timing was a major problem on my part. There was constant communication and when my wife and I returned and called Jamie, she set the roofers up immediately. They did the job on a Saturday and were outstanding. The two gents that worked the roof that day, with high gusty winds, are great employees and wonderful attitudes. Highly recommend!

Great response for service - I'd had used them before. Had hoped it would be an easy fix but rep said not this time. They quickly scheduled their team who were very polite and friendly. The leak did recur about 2 months later (it is a very old roof) and they responded within one day of my call and all has been well now another 2 months later.

After being told by an insurance inspector that our roofing material was questionable in the back patio, we contacted Earl Johnson Roofing for a quotation. Mike Wilde, the Sales Manager, came to our home to look at the project. However, upon inspection, came down and told us that the roofing material was intact, and that there was no indication that re-roofing was necessary. I am ever so impressed with the integrity of a company that comes out and does not sell goods or services that are not indicated. I will recommend Earl Johnson Roofing to everyone needing this type of work in the future, and, when ready, I will again contact them and use their services!

Our 25 year old roof needed to be replaced. We has many issues with our old roof and Mike took the time to sit we us and explain how he would fix all the problems. He explained the process and addressed all our concerns. His team did an excellent job!!! All of my neighbors commented on how well they cleaned up after our demo. They were so careful with our new driveway and landscaping. The installation process went smoothly and the Spanish tiles look beautiful. We love our new roof.

Worker (Cat) showed up bright and early this morning to do the work....he was courteous, helpful and thorough.

The crew was very professional, provided great service, and answered all questions. Provided pictures of the repair for our records.

They called back within 24 hours and found a mutually convenient time to schedule an appointment. They called 24 hours in advance and reminded me of appt and shared name/contact information of professional that would give the estimate as well as an estimate of how long I'd need to spend with him. Mario called in advance and noted that he'd freed up earlier and could come by the house if convenient. I couldn't make it earlier, so he said he'd see me at the scheduled time. Mario was right on time and very professional. He quickly assessed the damage (it as much more minor that appeared) and asked if I had replacement tiles, I had placed a few out but needed one more... he jumped up on the ladder and went up to access our attic to get the needed tile, noted that he had the materials on his truck and replaced the tiles in about 15 minutes. He promised to come back and apply the filling cement (pending) when he was next in the area. When I asked what I owed him, ne noted it was a small job and "let's call it a courtesy call". It was an unexpected an unnecessary gesture but one that certainly earned our loyalty and willingness to refer work - they were timely, professional and knowledgeable.

Overall it was a very good experience, Mike Wilde is who I dealt with and he was a responsive , kind and good person to work with. He gave me a wrong price on something minor and remedied the situation by admitting to his mistake. That shows integrity and care, I appreciated that very much as a customer. The guys who came to do the work were also hardworking and nice. They were punctual and professional. It was a very good experience in general. I would recommend them to my neighbors
