Description of Work: replaced contactor relay on the compressor. The tech was professional and efficient and explained what caused the problem.

Description of Work: They installed a completely new air conditioning system. They use Rheem, which is a good brand as far as I can tell. It all went very smoothly.

Description of Work: Capital repaired an AC unit. The work was performed, and there have been no problems since. My wife was in charge and she had two concerns. She thought the serviceman was brusque, and that it took an awfully long time to complete the work. Her knowledge of how long the work should take is nil, so I discount that issue. The attitude of the workman is something else altogether. I wan't there so I don't know if she inadvertently did something to annoy the man. None the less, the workman needs to keep his cool and professionalism in any case. A floor tile was broken during the work and the owner made good on that, and in a very polite fashion. Cudos to him.

Description of Work: Service Checkup Cleaning on my A/C

Description of Work: Everything went well. Services provided included inspection of AC unit and cleaning/unclogging of pipe which was causing water leakage. AC unit is working fine and no further leakage has been detected.

Description of Work: I called this company to diagnose a loud humming coming from the outside compressor. They visited us three times, including charging me $200 for adding Freon. They weren't able to fix the unit. Eventually their office called me and said I needed to either change the compressor for $1200, or the whole unit for $1800. | |I called another company for a second opinion, and they were able to repair my unit for $70. They expressed surprise that Freon was added. Be careful with this company, and get a second opinion on any diagnosis they give you. |

Description of Work: They arrived on time and replaced a central air conditioner inside and out. It was a large unit and took some tme to get in and out. They were professional and knowledgeable. They had to rebuild the space for the new unit and it looks better than before. The price was exactly what had been agreed on. We know someone who just got the same unit we bought, but for a $1000 more. Works great and our house is much cooler and we are saving $100 a month on electricity!

Description of Work: The A/C wasn't working. The technician came in diagnosed the problem and had it fixed and the A/C was working again within 60 minutes. It was a defective condenser fan. The technician had the part in his van so it was a quick repair and the $49 I paid for the diagnosis was applied to the repair bill.

Description of Work: I had two other companies come out and tell me that they could not fit a new AC unit in the closet. They could not figure it out and were confused by the small closet where the old unit was. Capital came out and immediately noticed that the unit was partially in the space between the walls. They were able to install a unit quickly and did a fantastic job at 1/4 the price of the other 2 quotes I had. I would recommend them for anyone wanting a new unit. The added bonus was that my electric bill went down in the first month, and stayed down!
