Capital Air Conditioning

Technician came into our establishment not wearing a mask and chatting on the phone with friends instead of focusing on his job. When he noticed that I was uncomfortable he gave me a nasty attitude. I stated that I was pregnant and that I did not appreciate his disrespectful actions and attitude, he then got nastier. I would not recommend this company as their technicians do not respect their customers.

It was excellent. They were very competitive.

They came several times and screwed up programing now my AC which is a 19 seer top of the line is 8 degrees below the thermostat We are searching for a new technician of Carrier

Called Capital yesterday afternoon. Air handler was running but condensing unit wasn't. Capital couldn't fit me in due to the time. I called another well known company that advertises A LOT (hint hint!). They sent out a technician who I suspect was more salesman than technician who recommended $700 in repairs to start or a new unit for $4K. I politely declined and called back Capital and got an 11-1PM window for today. Technician (Scott) arrived around noon. Fixed the problem for $168. Now I'm chilly again and so's my wife (another hint!). Capital installed the unit in 2002 and they're my usual go to for service. After today, I'm NEVER calling another AC company.

They were good. I know there was issues, but they took care of it and I know that it was pretty reasonably priced still. I wasn’t outraged. I just remember not being outraged by the price and they got the work done and everyone seems to be content. As long as everyone’s happy, I’m happy. If I had a problem I would have thought of it. Everything’s working fine now. They took care of it right away. I will probably use them again. I didn't have first hand interaction with them because they were working on a property in Florida and I live in New York.

Originally hired Capital Air Conditioning from an Angie's List special for an AC tuneup . It was the most thorough inspection and tuneup of our 14 year old system that I had ever received. The technician (Robert) pointed out future possible problems and ways to forestall them without trying to sell us extra services. A few years later we decided to replace the unit and called Capital Air and several other companies for estimates. Not only did Capital Air Conditioning have the best price but the owner Pete Callahan was very helpful (and patient) answering our multitude of questions even to the point of recommending a less expensive system for our house than we were considering. The installation was superb with many extras done at no charge. A very good, and in my opinion, trustworthy company.

They were great. Two people came out. They gave a good explanation.

Arrived on time and did a thorough job.

Blower motor was covered by warranty. It only took the technician 30 minutes install the motor but they charged me $320. Not sure how they can justify $320 for a warranty item.

Entire project went very well. Service techs were on time, very polite, friendly, and completed the job as they had promised.

Great! Professional, caring, friendly, prompt. Did a great job! It was really a nice experience, which doesn't happen too much these days. They sent me an email quote, giving me several choices. I selected the Carrier.

It took a few hours to complete the project. The workers were very good, excellent. They left the area very clean when they were finished.

This is my second review for Pete and his team. I hired them two years ago and I rehired them today for a similar job: replacing an old A/C in an apartment in a high rise building. The team of workers were punctual, professional, and did their work with the least and shortest disruption to the building functions.

We've used them for regular service since then.

I wasn't here when it happened, but it works. They did a pretty good job. They did the job, they went a little above and beyond because we had to have the air return rebuilt.

By far the best A/C company I have ever seen. This is the second time I have used them. Both times they were excellent. No bs, they quoted, they showed up on time, they changed it, no messes, no hassles, nothing.

They have a very competitive price, seem to have a lot of employees so you can play a little of a phone tag. While I have no complaints to their performance or professionalism, I would prefer to work with the company who is a bit more hungry for business. One where I do not have to wait for few hours for a return phone call.

Everyone in the company provided outstanding customer service! I highly recommend them.
