Description of Work: Capital Air Conditioning installed my AC. They did both the inside and outside unit.

Description of Work: June 2 through June 17, 2016, they sent three different technicians. The first one, Danny stated that the capacitor needed to be changed and it had to be ordered from Trane,he put in a temporary one and left.He came back on 6/13/2019 and stated that the compressor was alright , but while he was tinkering with the unit he shorted it out with a loud explosion and a heavy smoke, and I asked him what happened he told me that the new capacitor was defective. He put the first one back in and left.On June 16, 2016, there was supposed to be a technician who would come and work on the a/c unit, but their Service Manager Connie, called me and told me that he would not come because they had not received the new compressor yet. |On June 14, 2016, a new technician named Glenn came and after he cooled the compressor by pouring at least 15 pitchers full of water on it He told me that the compressor was dead. Because Danny had told me that compressors were in good condition, but Glenn's diagnose contradicted Danny's. Glenn also left stating that they would order a new compressor. | | On June 17, 2016. A new Capital Air technician named Casey arrived with a new compressor and installed it. | | In conclusion, I lived without an air condition June 2nd through Jun 17th because when I turned it on it would never turn off by itself , and I had to turn it off because I was afraid that the unit would burn out, and the humidity level in the house was never less than 78. I could not sleep at nights, and it was a torture. I am not going to be victimized and lose my health because of the mistakes their technicians made, and also receive complaints from my neighbors for the excessive noise the a/c started to make, so I wrote a certified letter to the owner Mr Peter Callaghan asking for solutions for the problems his technicians created and also asked for a copy of his technicians' Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation Licences. I received profane a telephone call from the owner Mr Callaghan today 7/15/2016, telling me to go back to my country. He doesn't know that I have 52 years of U.S public service 12 years with U.S Air Force Security Police, as a faculty member 2 years at Hillsborough Community College, 10 years at Broward College, and 28 years at Miami Dade College. |I cannot understand how a company like Capital Air stays in business. | | |

Description of Work: I called this company this past saturday because my air conditioner was not working. I called and an answering service answered and i told them them my problem They told me someone would be getting back to me right away. In about an hour an extremely drunk and rude air guy calls me. He says " Yes you called us" i told him i was calling from Angies list and my air conditioner was out. His response in a arrogant nasty way " My rate is 80 an hour on weekends, We do not accept Angies list on weekends." I was only informing him i was with Angies list not for a discount but so i got good service I got neither. He continued to be arrogant. " I have no idea what discounts Angies list offers but we dont accept this on weekends" I have used Angielist for years and they asked me to give reviews all the time. I never gave an F until now. This is the problem when you deal with large air companies with employess. They dont pay them much and they are miserable. I hung up on the miserable thing and I called Kelly's who is also on Angies . He is a wonderful gentlemen with New York quality . He contacted me on Sunday and was here 9 on Monday morning because he didnt want me to be without my cool air. And he charged a good price. My advice forget about these big companies who pay their employees 5.00 an hour and go with Kelly's You won"t regret it!

Description of Work: Capital Air replaced my eight year old American Standard package unit which had a bad compressor with a new more efficient Rheem 3.5 ton side by side unit.

Description of Work: I bought my Air-conditioning unit from Capital Air Conditioning Company unit about a month ago. They replaced my whole heating and cooling system, inside and outside.

Description of Work: Condenser was not working, We had no problems prior to it quiting.
