The service man arrived at the appointment time. He replaced the filter in the AC unit, but didn't do much else except look at it. He then checked the outside unit and said that it was low on Freon, but had no leaks. This is confusing to me, but whatever. I paid the additional money and he supposedly added Freon to the unit.

Prepaid Angie's list $49 for an AC inspection and tune-up. Made an appointment with Capital Air. They called when the technician was a half hour out to let me know he was on his way. He was prompt, professional, efficient. Traced the source of an electric buzzing sound every time the compressor started to a faulty capacitor. Replaced the capacitor for an additional $126. No more buzz. No push for extra services. Strongly recommend!

My central A/C was on its last leg when it finally gave out one morning. It was May, but it fortunately unseasonably cool. By the next morning, Capital Air Conditioning had a crew working on it and installed a new Trane compressor and handler by midday. With a baby and mother-in-law already making the house hot and smelly on a daily basis, Capital A/C really saved day.

We left a message after hours with an answering service and first thing in the morning our call was returned. That same morning a technician, who happened to be the manager, came to our home and checked/cleaned our AC. He diagnosed and fixed the issue. He was punctual, professional and knowledgeable. Capital's fees are quite reasonable by comparison to other AC service companies. We are very pleased with their service and we'll be sure to use them again.

Very Professional! Scheduling was very accommodating, Robert the Tech was very knowledgeable and Professional. He ensured me I did not have any immediate issues of concern with my heating system or handler. My system is over 10 years old, so I have been cautious to maintain it properly. However, when I'm ready to replace my old system, I will be using Capital without a doubt. This is the second time of have used Capital , and both experiences have been a pleasure from the front office staff to the Technicians.

The job went well, I wasn't there. They need to communicate after the job though as I didn't know the job was done for several weeks. I was in the process of moving at the time. Once I found out the work was done it was done well, despite the communication issues.

They were just fine. We will probably be using them again for service. Everything they did was outstanding. They did exactly what we needed.

Capital was the only vendor that quoted a straight hourly rate, which turned out to be 50% less than price quoted by 2 and 100% less than price quoted by one. Response time: Impressively quick response to email that I sent through Angie's List. Arrived on time. Excellent work quality. Very friendly and professional service staff. He took the time to explain the product. Excellent service at a great price.

Leak was not fixed, provider wanted more money to fix it after already paid him and he left the place claiming it was "fixed"

He inspected the A/C. Found a couple of problems which he corrected, Since I am a new owner, he took the time to explain the various settings required during the various seasons as well as normal maintenance.

I have used Capital Air Conditioning before and was pleased in the past, as well as this time. When I called to make the appointment, the person I spoke with was very responsive and was able to get a tech out within a few hours. I liked that she was up front in telling me what the hourly cost would be - so there were no surprises. Service went well. Jeff was very professional and competent. He took the time to explain what he did and make suggestions for maintenance of my a/c. Unfortunately a small leak was found in the coils, but Jeff explained the options and pros and cons of fixing the leak vs. replacing the coils vs. replacing the a/c. He suggested that I might want to wait and see how long the freon he put in maintains. I appreciated his honestly and information.

The technician found the problem immediately and determined that the part was under warranty and available at the distributor's wharehouse. He went and obtained the fan and motor in Boca or Del Ray and installed them on his return to my house that day. no extra charge for the trip.

Everything went smoothly from beginning to end. Pete was very responsive and sent someone out right away to provide us with an estimate. We ultimately decided to use Pete and his team, as their quote was very reasonable. Two men came out on Black Friday and installed a new Carrier unit on our second floor. Although they did not have the drip pan and air register available that day, someone came out a week later to install them as stated in the contract. I really appreciated that Pete followed up with the additional items, and I didn't have to keep calling to ask about them. The new unit is working great, and I will definitely use Capital Air for future jobs.

It went okay. Everything was done to my satisfaction.

The company called the morning of service to inform us they were available to arrive earlier than anticipated, and they did. Casey examined our AC unit for a minor malfunction and he said he replaced the relay between air handler and condensing unit. We haven't had to run the unit since repair so I cannot comment on the quality of work. Casey also provided information on unit replacement, as far as value and quality.
