BLUE COAST POOLS

Someone came on a Friday to look at my pool and never called me, they put a door hanger in my mailbox (it was a door hanger why did they not hang it on my door?) and I did not discover it until the next day. Nobody called to tell me they were coming or had been there. My pool needed cleaning from years of neglect which I warned them about but they took all the leaves and gunk from my pool and did not remove it from my property, most of it was left around my yard. Some was put into my trash can which was then too heavy for the garbage people to take so they refused it and I had to hire a company to haul it away for an additional $60, then ask for a new green can from the city. They installed a new pump and timer but could not connect the electricity correctly and I had to hire another company to hook it up properly for an additional $439.

The quote was excellent, they started and finished on time. They clean up all the working areas. Pools seems new ! Nice and friendly service. I use them for pool maintenance at the moment... they are great here too!!

Wonderful guys, worked hard, did excellent job. Performed exactly what they said they would do. Easy to get in touch---I was able to text Jorge and get immediate responses. Ulises was the person in charge of the job and explained all procedures, very detailed in work; cleaned up when they left. Would use them again. Work looks beautiful.

I was very pleased with Jorge's responsiveness. He returned my initial call within a few hours and got things moving on the estimate rather quickly. After we agreed to the terms of the job, he was able to get the work scheduled within about two weeks. Jorge's team was very well prepared and knowledgable about their work. I was very pleased with the workmanship and quality of his crew. Jorge supervised the entire process and held his team accountable. Jorge was always friendly and professional when we discussed the job. He was receptive to concerns I expressed during the project. When I shared a few observations, Jorge was proactive in getting my concerns addressed. Only constructive feedback I can add is I was a little disappointed about Jorge's timeline for completing the job. I was under the impression the job would be completed on a certain date and I made travel arrangements to come to Miami from Tampa to do a final inspection based on projections for the project completion. Turns out the job was not done until a week later, so I had to plan a 2nd trip to Miami. I acknowledge this might have been due to a communication misunderstanding and Jorge believes I misinterpreted what I was told. However, I do believe it was enough of a issue that I wanted to include this in the report as a fair and objective assessment of my experience. Overall, even in light of the delivery date issue, I would not hesitate to use Jorge and his team again and give them high marks for their work.

Starting with the first meeting with Jorge it was A+ all the way. Blue Coast delivered well above my expectations. I highly recommend anyone to call and use Blue Coast Pools.

They came out and did not try to sell me a new motor which other people tried to do. Said if the motor wasn't making a bad noise then it was the seal. Everyone else wanted to sell a 500-700 variable speed motor. Thanks again for some honest and professional help.

We bought our house about 1 year ago and have been dealing with many different companies to do certain projects in our home. So far, Blue Coast Pools is the ONLY company we would recommend, aside from the company who redid our roof. For the pool, we got about 8 quotes from different companies. When we contacted Jorge at Blue Coast pools, he was the most professional and helpful person we spoke to and he offered the best price, so we decided to go with Blue Coast Pools to redo our pool. From start to finish, everything was perfect. Jorge's communication was exceptional, his workers were on time, efficient and cleaned up after themselves very well. Every step was thoroughly explained to us and the follow through was amazing. Jorge even worked with us to purchase pool tile that he initially had no access to. Aside from his professionalism and that of his workers, one thing stood out. When he came to give us a quote, he politely asked us (should he win the bid) to give an "honest" review on Angie's List. All other companies we had come out to give us quotes asked for a positive review. Jorge asked for an honest review and we appreciated that. It showed us that he was an honest person who was confident that he and his team would do an excellent job. And that they did. Our pool now looks amazing! We cannot give enough praise to the most excellent job that Blue Coast did. We don't often have the opportunity to give good reviews but this time we must. They did an exceptional job and quoted us the best price. You will not be disappointed by hiring Blue Coast to do your pool work. They even offer a great price for the continuing pool maintenance. I first wanted opinions to see if my pool needed to be resurfaced and I also wanted to install a pool heater, so I called a couple of Pool Services for estimates. Then I looked at the different alternatives at Angie?s List and after reading at the different customer reviews I called Blue Coast. Mr. Jorge Estupiñan called me back almost immediately and the following day I had Giancarlo Cala, a Blue Coast representative, looking at my pool and giving me estimates on the resurfacing and the pool heater. His estimates were very close to what I had gotten from other Pool Service Companies, but the honesty, the punctuality, the knowledge, the accuracy and the professionalism of Giancarlo and the familiarity and expertise of Mr. Estupiñan helped me take my best choice, and I signed a contract with Blue Coast. They installed my Pool Heat Pump (a Hayward 120.000BTUs-$3,700.00) and we have been able to enjoy our pool every day! It was the best deal and investment we have ever made! The resurfacing (Diamond Brite) will be done this year (2015) since my pool was not that bad and I could wait a few months to do it. We appreciated immensely their uprightness and honesty; we did not have to spend another $3,650 at Christmas time! I definitely would recommend Blue Coast and their team!! They are not only skilled and experienced, but also personable and cordial, and best of all they are punctual!

Pool Pump stopped working. I asked for an estimate to repair pump. No response. Much to my surprise the pump started working again. I called the company and was told I owed them $395 for a new pump they had installed. They came in my property, without my authorization or permission and put in the pump with no contact from them. I had told Jennifer in the office that I would be getting 3 estimates and would get back to them in due course, I had several conversations with Jorge, who said he was the owner, who first offered to take $100 off the bill. I did not accept this He then said I just had to pay labor costs .He said he had got the pump for free, and that it was not new, but was rebuilt. On hearing this I sent the company a letter saying I was canceling all services. They had been coming weekly to clean and maintain the pool. I was disgusted that they had put in a rebuilt pump, and had tried to charge me $395 on top of everything else. Jorge came to the house, I told him my attorney was handling the matter and that he would be calling him. I got a letter from the company saying that my balance was zero. i

They did a very good job installing water heater. very professional, quick and pleasant to work with. They helped me choose the right option without the pressure tactics. Very smooth transaction. I got them to be my pool maintenance company also. It has worked well so far.

DEBATED FOR MONTHS TO GET MY POOL FIXED UP. FINALLY CALLED GEORGE AND HE SHOWED UP PROMPTLY. HE EVEN HELPED ME CARRY IN THE GROCERIES SO I THOUGHT HE HAD TO BE OK. TURNED OUT THAT MY GUT FEELING ABOUT HIM WAS RIGHT. HE WAS EXTREMELY COMPETITIVE WITH HIS PRICES. THEY CAME OUT QUICKLY TO DO THE JOB. GEORGE HELD MY HAND THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS AND I GOT THOUGH IT. IT TURNS OUT MY POOL DEVELOPED A LEAK JUST BEFORE THE DIAMOND BRITE WAS APPLIED AND GEORGE GOT THAT REPAIRED. GEORGE KNOWS EVERYTHING ABOUT POOLS AND IF YOU LET HIM DO ANYTHING TO YOUR POOL YOU WILL MOST CERTAINLY BE IN GOOD HANDS. EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH ALL ASPECTS OF THE JOB. YOU WILL BE TOO

Excellent service , got quote , once accepted , started job immediately. Our pool was in a very bad state, but now it looks fabulous. The owner was quick to respond, checked with me often to make certain I was pleased as the work progressed. He and his crew were polite, professional, punctual, neat and fast. The cost was very reasonable. My pool looks and functions like new. The Blue Coast owner and staff made the entire process a pleasant experience.

It went very well. I signed the quote on a Tuesday and they began emptying my pool on Thursday. By Saturday night, the Diamond Brite had been applied, the pool light installed and the pool was being filled with water. I was amazed at how quickly everything happened. Very professional and courteous. Based on how well everything went, I will also be using them to perform my weekly pool service. I highly recommend them!

After talking to 2 other companies we called Jorge from Blue Coast Pools. The prices were pretty close but we just felt Jorge was our guy! He was very professional & explained everything to us that they were going to do. May 28th someone came and started draining the pool. The next morning a crew came & started working. They removed the old tile. Added new tile. Installed the new light. Put a coating on the pool. It looked like rain. They left & it did rain a little later in the afternoon. They all returned a few days later. 5 men were here 8:00 in the morning & started working. After the first coat of Diamond Brite it started to rain. We waited one week to long. We had no rain until this week. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It looked like Barnum & Bailey Circus. They had erected a large tent over the entire pool. I thought they were going to leave but they all went into the pool & continued to work...They finished working at 3:00 & left with the hose running in the pool. It took 2 days to fill the pool. Someone came the next day & put chemicals in. He came back again after the weekend & cleaned & swept the pool. Looks beautiful. We are very happy with the results & would highly recommend Jorge & Blue Coast Pool Company!

Blue Coast was one of four contractors we had out for estimates on our pool and deck. Unlike some others, Jorge from Blue Coast was quick to respond and provide a quote. Those who followed up were all in the same ballpark for Price. We chose Blue Coast because we were impressed with Jorge's professionalism and commitment to start. They started and finished on time. The pool resurfacing is done very well and looks great. It was a good thing we were at home when the workers were at our house for the deck because they would have missed the main reason for repairing the deck, which required additional time and effort. We contacted Jorge and he set everything right on the spot. We would definitely recommend Blue Coast and would use them again, in fact we have now hired them for weekly pool service.

Blue Coast Pool cleans the pool and treats it with chemicals every week. The owner, Jorge, is very responsive to calls. When my service first started, the pool turned green. Jorge was quick to respond and sent out his supervisor to check on my pool. I think it was just an adjustment period for the employees to figure out my pool. After the first 3 weeks, the service has been excellent. Not to mention, the employees are timely, clean, and polite. I would highly recommend Blue Coast Pools.

We were extremely happy with this company. They returned calls immediately. They came exactly when they said they would for both the estimate and the job. It was completed ahead of time and the pool looks great.

George and his team are very professional and ensure the job is completed entirely. They inform you of everything that they are doing, and George also includes 2 months of pool cleaning and filter service after the Diamondbrite installation. The only thing we had an opportunity with was communication when one of the employees was sick, but they immediately showed up the next morning.

I got them from Angie's List. My experience with them so far has been good; it's not over with yet. Basically so far I met with him for an estimate and he explained the process. He told me they'll be out on Friday to empty the pool out and that's about where we are at right now. He did give me the Angie's List discount for the pump replacement. The only thing that I didn't like is I was stuck here in the beginning part of last week without a car and he called and said he needed to make sure that he got with me to get a check. I told him I didn’t have a car and that I could go ahead and get somebody's credit card number. He lists the credit card to accept but then he passed the cost on to the customer and I didn't like that. I told him I didn't like it and he did actually come out of his way to my house to get a check. Have I wanted to put it on a credit card for points or something it would have cost me whatever the charge is for the credit card so I wasn't real happy about that. I don't think he realizes that its one of those things that he shouldn't be doing and I realize there are people out there that does that but once they get somebody then that's the cost. They can either accept a credit card or don't conditionally accept it. I already had a couple of different estimates and he came in quite a bit under everybody else. He left the pump in the pool and it's the pump that actually turns itself off. He explained everything to my brother who was up there. We had told him what we like, we wanted him to empty the pool out in a specific direction and so far everything has been really good.

Blue Coast Pools did an outstanding professional job, in resurfacing our pool. The sales rep was straightforward, concise, and personable, leaving a detailed and accurate estimate. The technicians worked rapidly and efficiently. They cleaned up and maintained the area daily, leaving our patio immaculate and useable. The price was excellent. The project was completed in a timely manner. (It would have been finished earlier than projected, but for two days of heavy rain.) They told us what they were going to do. They performed as described, then went over the job, explaining all the minor operational details. We are highly satisfied. I give Blue Coast Pools the highest possible recommendation. LHC
