Description of Work: Ameriwoodcraft came in and stripped the finish off the exposed cabinet faces and sides, sanded the wood ,restained and finished the cabinets to a beautiful finish that had been agreed upon. They numbered each door and took those to the shop to strip and refinish. The work in the house was completed in a 5 day week, the complete job took 3 weeks from start to finish. I had been thinking of getting a new kitchen and now feel I have a new kitchen for a fraction of the cost of new. Patrick and his helper kept the dirt and dust to a minimum (far better than I expected), they covered everything and cleaned up after themselves. Very professional, highly recommend. Patrick did a bedroom set for us 15 yrs ago also,still in great shape, so I had a comfort level with them already

+ -1 moreThe two antique chairs look gorgeous - the beautiful wood color shows through. The chairs were refinished in a few days then delivered. I actually purchased these chairs from Ameriwoodcraft - stunning carved rose in the top of each mahogany chair. Prior years: All repairs, refinishing, etc. have been handled professionally - on time, price quoted is price paid, delivered into the room (not front door). At times I have asked to see the work in progress to ensure the stain color is what I envisioned. A small section is done then if I changed my mind, they accomodate and provide another small sample color. This firm was recommended to me by a friend over 10 years ago and I have been using them ever since for all my wood furniture repairs and refinishing.
Description of Work: Stripped and refinished two mahogany antique chairs. The price above is for this job alone. As a new member of Angie's List I wanted to provide some additional work Ameriwoodcraft has been doing for me for the past 10 years. This is the only firm I use when I am looking for my wood furniture to be refinished or repaired. Prior years: Stripped, repaired and put a gorgeous tung-oil finish on three-piece teak 1950's bedroom set; stripped and stained 6 bedroom chests; stripped and stained two buffet tables. Repaired scratches on table tops.
