We have a unique coffee table with front and rear panels that make it look like an old wooden file cabinet. The top had several scuffs and places where the finish was worn. We contacted Patrick to see if it could be stripped and refinished, because any coffee tables we liked (all wood, lots of storage space) were expensive and not as interesting as this piece. He had the coffee table back to us in a week, as good as, or better than new! Beautiful!

Can't speak highly enough of this company. Patrick repaired two vintage pieces of furniture for a very reasonable price, was extremely responsive, returned calls, showed up as scheduled, was able to repair both pieces in the house in less then two hours. So VERY happy I called them. Will use them in the future to refinish and for any additional repairs. Would highly recommend them.

It took much longer than we expected and several attempts to find the matching stain but the final result is very good. On the attached picture you can see the old cabinet's door on the left (the narrow one) and the new cabinet's door on the right (the wider one).

We were very happy with Patrick's work. It looks like a brand new bedroom set. Patrick was friendly and professional. He returned my phone calls promptly and answered any questions we had. He picked up the furniture and delivered the finished pieces in three weeks, as promised. He provided a sample to be sure we were happy with the color and tone before he completed the work. Patrick is a pleasant, honest, caring person who did this job out of the kindness of his heart. He takes pride in his work and is excellent in his profession. After 4 failed attempts to get this job done by another company, which took more than 4 months, Patrick agreed to help me out. His price was very reasonable, and even though he had plenty of work in Broward county near his business, he went of out his way to travel down to me, fighting the hassles of traffic, after explaining the nightmare I had with the other company and how difficult it was to find another company to do this job for me. He got the job done right, and got it done on time. It took him only 2 weeks, while I had endured months of botch-ups from the other company. Thank you, Patrick.

The services were excellent. Patrick came and picked the chairs and table up. He wanted to make sure the wood matched so he came and picked up a sample, and matched the wood perfectly. He picked the set up when he said he would, and dropped it back off on the expected date.

Patrick (and his assistant) did a terrific job! My door looks completely new and is beautiful again. I bought a new house in December 2012. The previous owner had painted/varnished the front door and I had not realized then how terrible a job it was. After 2 years, my front door looked awful. I had a wait a month for Patrick to be able to come and work on my door because he is really busy. That was fine with me because he is so good, I could have waited 3 months. He thought the door would take 2 days and it took 4, the paint and varnish were so thick and hard to come out, they worked long hours for 2 days to strip the door to the bare wood. My front door is huge, with 2 double door with details. It took Patrick and his assistant 2 more days to completely refinish the outside of my doors as well as the framing. He refused to charge me more even after I offered because the job was so much more than we had estimated. I was stunned by such a professionalism. I absolutely recommend him. Great work, great ethic, great price.

We had our brown kitchen cabinets refinished in white. The room looks fresher and brighter. The cabinets look brand new! Patrick and his helpers did a wonderful job and were very professional. In South Florida it is sometimes difficult to find craftsmen that you can rely on to do good work. Patrick is one that we will call on again for future home improvements.

This is not the first time using this business but because past experiences went so well I would not use another company. The work finished was quicker than expected which was great. He also finished another piece of furniture I though no one would take on but he did it.

He was on time , polite, work was completed in a timely fashion. And the price was extremely fair. Once the holidays are over have more work that needs to be done.

Patrick came to our home and picked up our bedroom set which included a dresser, large tri-fold mirror, 2 night tables, and headboard. He then stripped all of the pieces and painted them the color we chose. He replaced all of the pulls with new ones we provided. This part involved filling an existing hole and drilling new ones. On the finished pieces the old holes are not detectable. When all was done, he delivered the finished furniture and set it all up. The color was a perfect match to the new platform bed we bought. Our bedroom now looks as if we bought all new furniture. We are very happy with the work and are already thinking about calling on him to do other work. Patrick is professional, prices his work fairly, and delivers high quality finished furniture.

Excellent. I have used Ameriwoodcraft for all my wood furniture refinishing for several years now. Over time I change out the color on the wood furniture and have always used this firm - close to my house and excellent quality and service. Patrick (owner) picks up the furniture in a van at my place and takes it to his business. It can be difficult to find expert craftspeople in South Florida and Patrick was recommended by a friend several years ago and I've been very happy since. No more worries where wood furniture is involved.

Patrick did an amazing job refinishing and repairing kitchen cabinet doors that I thought were damaged beyond repair. I highly recommend Patrick, he is professional courteous and his pricing is fair.

Patrick picked up the desk and a couple weeks later brought it back beautifully restored. Small blemishes were artfully camouflaged and the handle was fixed. The entire piece has a gorgeous patina and future maintenance has been eliminated with a varnish that only needs a moist cleansing with a soft cloth. We are giving this to our granddaughter for the holidays!

Every aspect of this job went extremely well. Patrick was very detail oriented and professional. Job was completed on time and within budget. No surprises. Quality of work is just as I had hoped. Patrick was very patient and handled every detail as requested. He is also very easy to work with and personable. It should be noted that Patrick accepted this job after seeing photos, when other refinishers would not attempt it.

WOW! Patrick is what I call a true and quot;old schooland quot; artisan and businessman. He transformed an antique soda fountain booth from the 1920's with years of abuse and countless coats of stain and lacquer into an absolute showpiece. His responsiveness was great and while he is very busy, he gave us a realistic timeline for his work and met those deadlines. He gave us recommendation for finishes that would complement the natural wood tone and those suggestions were spot on. A handshake goes a long way with a guy like this and he invited us to call him if we weren't happy with any aspect of the repair. Would most definitely recommend Ameriwoodcraft to anyone in the market for fine furniture restoration.

I took my pedestal to Ameriwood Craft to have my pedestal restored. This pedestal belonged to my grandmother who passed away in 1976 at the age of 73. This pedestal had so much varnish on it that it was dark, dingy and and quot;stickyand quot;, and also the top was loose where it screwed into the base. Patrick restored the pedestal to its original color and informed my that my pedestal was made of Tiger Oak, which isn't seen too often these days. It is beautiful and the striping of the tiger oak looks wonderful. He also repaired the top so that it is no longer loose. I am so happy with his work and have already recommended him.

The provider did not get back to me for several days. He then told me he is not doing as much refinishing anymore, he is doing kitchen cabinets. He asked me to send pictures of the work that needed to be done, which I did. He told me he would get back to me in August, when he had more time. I never heard from him again.

Patrick was very prompt in coming to the house, assessing the damage, picking up the table and chairs, refinishing them, and delivering them back to me. The work looks amazing, even a year later. He put a gorgeous finish on it that looks hand-rubbed, but only requires a damp cloth for cleaning - no maintenance! This is not the first time I've used Patrick either - he has refinished side tables, and antique free-standing Murphy bed that I picked up (and that weighs so much he had to do the work here - it's like a piano!), armoires, bookcases - he is the only one I'll use for all my antique refinishing and/or repair work! Plus, he's just a really nice guy to work with - that makes it even better!

I think he had the ability to do a wonderful jon but just did not understand what I wanted. He did a good job on the chair, just not on the stool. Make you discuss with him what you want your end result to be.

Everything went great. Patrick was friendly, professional and responsive. I appreciate that he came to my house to give me an estimate. I believe the repair estimate was very reasonable. The turn around time on the job, from estimate to completed repair was less than 48 hours. They did a great job on the repair and the table looks wonderful!
