It was Saturday and we had just experienced a power surge due to a faulty common wire at the pole. FPL (after 3 calls) and numerous complaints in the last 3 months, finally came out and repaired the faulty wire. The lineman was great too....but this about Michael with Quality Garage Door Service. He arrived on time and found that our garage openers were damaged beyond repair and proceeded to give us a price. Once we agreed on what openers to install, he went to work. It was very hot out in our garage and we had no fans as they were destroyed as well. This young man worked his tail off, was very professional, had all the right equipment and tools. Three and a half hours later...he completed the job. He was soaking wet from sweat and still had a smile on. I wish my employees were this motivated, dedicated and pleasant. Quality Garage Door Service and Michael turned a most unpleasant experience with all the electrical problems we had, into a very good one. Many thanks to a wonderful company!

The technicians that came to my property were very respectful, professional, and competent. Some were Armed Forces Veterans like myself. I don't have a problem with the personnel. My concerns are described below after my description of the situation. At my first visit to assess the job, I asked for a new door and a new motor. The technician looked at the motor and advised it was in good condition and did not need to be replaced. I went with that. When the new door was installed, the motor started grinding and binding. I don't think this was a malicious act. I just think it was bad luck or a coincidence. Nevertheless, I asked for a new belt motor because I wanted it to be quiet. The technician called the office and advised they would be back the next day between 2-4PM. I left work early again the next day to meet the guys at my house. I began to get worried by about 3PM when no one had showed up yet. I called the office and they told me I was scheduled from 4-6PM, not 2-4PM. When 5PM came around, no one had arrived. I called the office again and they said the technician would be at my house in 5 mins. He did arrive in that time frame and looked at the motor and wanted to fix it. I asked if he had brought a new motor as I asked the day before and he said yes and that it was a chain driven motor. I told him I asked for a belt driven motor, not a chain driven motor. He asked if he could try to get my old motor working and I said not to bother because I wanted a new motor. I called the office again, a little disappointed by that time, and expressed my concerns about not having an operational garage door all weekend. The staff member advised they had an opening the next day and I made sure she was aware I wanted a belt driven motor and confirmed the time they were going to be at my house. They offered me a discount, which I really don't want. I just want my door working again. I'm disappointed because I also work long hours and deal with difficult circumstances day-in and day-out, just as anyone else who pays taxes. I left work early twice and had to make-up that time in the evening until 9PM each day I had to leave early. The company does great work, I just think there needs to be clearer communication between the company and the customer. What I suggest to this company is to confirm with the customer over the phone what the job is and when it is to be done after scheduling it to make sure everyone is on the same page. Thank you.10

This company is THE BEST!!! They personally answer the phone (yay, no "press this for that"), they are polite and out to your home promptly and on time!! They provide excellent service and are very clean--nothing left behind!! If you need any type of service for your garage door, this is the company to call!!
