Called and left a message on their answering machine, requesting a quote to clean our chimney which is 30 years old and never been cleaned or inspected before. Their office returned my call within the hour and after taking down some information quoted $159 to inspect and sweep the chimney. The tech was a few minutes early and went right to work. He put down protective coverings before starting any work. He gave the fire place and chimney a thorough cleaning and then inspected from both the inside of the fire place, looking up and then climbing on the roof to inspect from the top down. He wrote a report and explained it to me, collected his $159 and was gone, all in about 1 hour. Very careful, thorough and fast.

The company was contacted to give an estimate on repairing the chimney cover (damaged in a tree accident). When the estimate was obtained, the company was willing to put the bill toward a chimney sweeping. Thus, if I decided to fore-go the chimney sweep service, I would be forced to pay for the estimate. I'm apposed to paying for an estimate, so I had them provide the chimney service. The chimney sweeping job went as planned with no problems. Two young men performed the task.

Overall, it was a good experience.

They very promptly returned my call and scheduled a visit, although they were busy for a couple of weeks so couldn't come right away. They called to confirm the appt. a few days before coming and were prompt, courteous, efficient and professional. I thought the job was very professionally done and it left no mess in my house at all, despite the fact that my fireplaces were so dirty that one of them had a chimney fire in it before they came.

We had them out about a year ago because we had some issues that we were concerned about and they gave us advice and took pictures. We didn't have to do it right away so we haven't had it done. They were just very thorough and professional. I know he has been around a long time.

They inspected the chimney and wrote up a detailed description of problem areas and an estimate of how much it would cost to repair. Jay even sent us pictures of inside our chimney with descriptions and solutions. He was very professional and thorough. He installed a top sealing damper, made some other repairs and cleaned up the water stains. We are very pleased with the work. We used the fireplace a lot over the Christmas holiday and had no problems. It was wonderful.

All I wanted was an inspection and cleaning. They refused to do that unless I paid them almost $2,000 to install a chimney lining.

All I can say is FABULOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE! I sent an inquiry to Mr. Walker, although his business is in Tallahassee, because he had good recommendations. He said they didn't work in Panama City but if I sent him photos of the fireplace, he would give me his opinion free of charge. He sent me a detailed analysis of what the problem was and how he would approach it. How often do you get service like that?! After awhile he sent an email and said they would do the work if we paid the cost of transportation. His representative was absolutely on time, professional, and answered all my questions. The cap was custom made for the chimney. The true test of a good company was when he called to ask if he could install the cap early. This is a vacation home and we were scheduled to install it a few weeks later. Well, there were storms coming, to include one that became a hurricane, and he wanted to get the cap on the chimney before the bad weather. My daughter met his representative, and the cap was installed and the brick sealed in time to dry and be prepared for the storms. The final surprise was a package, with photos, describing everything that was done to the fireplace and chimney. We've had lots of work done at both our primary and vacation homes, and never have we run across a company so professional. The job was absolutely perfect and we appreciate Mr. Walker agreeing to do our work.

He has been around a long time. I would recommend him to others. He was professional.

Apparently I did not have the correct chimney cap for my dryer vent, and after looking at it, it made sense. The dryer lint was not able to escape, so this eventually could have turned into a big fire! Luckily my roofing company came right out and replaced it for free. Also, my chimney flue was misaligned, so I am glad I hadn't used it. I will be contacting Jay in the future to fix this issue.

I was very pleased with the work perfomed and the courteous and pleasant manner with which the work was perfomed.

He was very professional and brought an assortment of catalogs to help me choose since I was undecided as to what exactly I wanted. He gave me great advice and I chose a fireplace that I absolutely love! He also installed a chimney for me as my old fireplace was ventless. It was a beautiful upgrade and works wonderfully to heat the living area and surrounding rooms of my home. Jay followed through the whole process and didn't stop until I had a fireplace that is showroom quality. I get so many compliments on it! They were always punctual and left the place so clean everyday that I never would have known they had even been there. They also went above and beyond te call of duty. When they were checking the attic for the installation of the chimney they noticed one of my ducts had come loose and was pumping cold air into my attic! They strapped it back up and taped it for me to seal off the leaks. I was extremely pleased with the whole experience and wouldn't hesitate to use Jay Walker Enterprises again!

They do a host of services. They are most notably known for cleaning chimneys. They were very prompt and very professional in the manner in which they went about conducting the business. They explained everything to me. After they inspected they told me where I could see future problems down the line. They made some corrections. They offered advice as to buying a new grate for the chimney. They were very fair price-wise. They did a great job. Their quality was very good. They follow up and reminded me of the appointment. They were right on time for the appointment. I hope to use them again.

Very professional. Showed up on time and cleaned both the dryer vent and chimney and then cleaned up mess afterwards. When the service professional needed to clean his hands I offered to the use of the kitchen sink but instead used water hose outside and it was 40 deg outside, very curtious. Also about a week after service we recieved a thank you card for the bussiness. In these time when have you heard of that. Would definately recommend them to anybody needing chimney or dryer vent cleaning.
