BAIT AND SWITCH, BE AWARE !!! STAY AWAY FAR FAR AWAY !!! Wish I seen on here first..STAY AWAY!! A/ C died and called them, they came out said you need a new A/ C last one got 5 years ago in Condo..Tech gave me a price and said they have interest free for one year, sounds good to me, I told him how much you need for down payment said $1000.00 down, so ok, let's do this..Tech made arrangements, to have water turn off for a few hours, ended up being turn off over 6 hours on entire stack of condos..People were asking what was taking so long??? After 6 long hours A/C was done, GREAT !!! Not SO !!! Installer said we need to Collect the remaining balance of $3500.00, I told him no I was doing the free interest plan for a year, they call office, guy was INSISTENT I PAY IMMEDIATELY..I told him the guy was here a few days ago and I took the free interest plan, he tells me the guy never did a credit check and WANTS THE MONEY NOW !!! The guy was going APE SH$# T on me..PAY NOW !! PAY NOW !!! PAY NOW !!!..YOU have NO free interest plan, If you want us to do free interest it will be another $450.00, I told him then it is not FREE interest plan, is it if you are charging me..BAIT & SWITCH..So I paid them the money,And not extra $450.00 later that evening Water was running out of A/C, called them up on Thursday, the next Tuesday they come by and realized they did not install A/C correctly, I said NO SH%T.. Missed putting A/C over the main blowing hole and did not insulate top portion as I had to stuff towels to keep the air going in house have been bailing out water with towels 3 -every day, I also asked where new hoses were as they used old ones from 35 years ago !!! CRACKLE AND POP, HARD !! Said we got them and will come another day, great, week later said we have some one coming out the same day they called, I said a notice would be nice as I have to take off work , so left work early, called tech, said on my way, ask him if he had hoses, he said what hoses ??? Told me he doesn't carry hoses, I said that was the reason, they were coming back for 3rd time ??? So made another appointment, for 3 days later, now over 2 weeks later, took off work again money lost,just called them, OH we did not tell condo we had to turn off water, so we AGAIN are not coming out ??? ***..I beginning to wonder if they are really a company as you just get Operator most times.. Now I will need to take off work again 4th time again no money so they can make another appointment to Finnish up, been over 2 weeks !!! YIKES, STAY AWAY !!!STAY AWAY !!! Sometime I doubt they will even come the next time...SHOULD GET NO STAR !!! I have also seen they been reported to better business bureau several times, I might need to add my name to the list !!! Update from 09/07/2018 Finally after 4 months WAITING had city inspection, and failed on 2 counts, electrical and install, advised company, set up confirmed appointment for them to correct, when they did not show up called their office and they wanted me to contact their tech person to find out where he was ??? I told them the Tech is your employee- you call them..Needless to say he did not show, happened at least 5 times a NO SHOW- NO CALL,I will be back in January , Hopefully after 6 months they will be able to complete install and PASS the city INSPECTION !!

The technician called before coming and arrived on time within the service window. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I had my dogs locked up and he told me that I could let them out because they were howling. So, very pet friendly.

It was perfect. The technician was very punctual. Tended to the problem very swiftly and was very professional.

Make sure you read the ones star reviews. Complete scam artists. Sold $850 dollars worth of services after coming in for a duct cleaning that I found on Angie's list. I purchased because the unit did in fact need some work. I was leaving town and coordinated with them to be able to enter my house while I was gone. They called me service had been completed and trying to charge my card. I said no to charging card until I got home and verified service. Guess what... half of the services they said they were going to perform(such as condensate switch and filter for example, not including turning unit on to test it) needed to be done inside my house and I know for a fact that nobody ever even entered my house. Those service were definitely not done, and the ones that could have done from outside(such as apply freeon) might have been done, but I have seen no improvement, so I doubt they were done either. At end of all this, they still charged my credit card without authorization because they had my number on file from when I made my 50% deposit. Going to file complaint with BBB, small claims now.

IT WAS A PLEASURE WORKING WITH QUALITY AIR OF AMERICA. CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. THE TECHS WERE PROFESSIONAL, HONEST AND POLITE. MY A/C WAS TURNING ON BUT WAS NOT PUSHING OUT COLD AIR. I WAS EXPECTING THIS REPAIR WOULD COST ME OVER $1000 AND WHEN THE TECHS SHOWED UP THEY TOLD ME EVERYTHING LOOKED GOOD AND JUST MY THERMOSTAT WAS DEFECTIVE. THEY INSTALLED A NEW THERMOSTAT AND MY A/C WAS PUMPING COLD AIR WITHIN MINUTES THANKS TO QUALITY AIR OF AMERICA A++++++ 5 STARS

This is not a review for their work, rather it is a review for their Angie's List Page which states that they are 24/7. I called on Saturday for an estimate and they stated they did not have service men on the weekend and that they could send someone on Monday. Maybe they are 24/5? Also, before I could respond the young lady on the phone was already telling me about their estimate fee. The page states they have FREE ESTIMATES. $49 doesn't sound free to me. I've already been deceived within the first 30 seconds of a phone call. It's a shame because the reviews seem mostly positive but take your chances,

Advertisement states 'Intensive air duct cleaning (up to 8 vents) see attached This is a 2BR condo with 6 vents. The estimate I was given was $470. $270 for cleaning (6 vents) and $200 for sanitize ducts. I was told $30 is for only one vent which would be a waste of money

I am posting the review a few months after service due to the hurricane, hurricane damage and holidays. I also want to point out that I have two witnesses that were on site to confirm the following event. I contacted Quality Air of America back in September to come to my house and evaluate my A/C unit which was making a loud noise. I made an appointment and they showed up on time. This was the only good thing that happened. After their free evaluation, I was told that I needed a new fan motor for the compressor. They also tried selling me an A/C deep cleaning for the air handler and other services which reminded me of the proverbial used car salesman. The price they gave was about $1200 dollars which I found to be extremely high and when I refused to deal with them they started to negotiate the price down to $750 which supposedly included two follow up visits during the next year. Since I obtained the name from Angie’s List, I felt that I could trust them and gave them the go ahead to replace the fan motor. This was scheduled on the following day so that they could order the part. They did show up and proceeded to replace the fan motor. This did NOT fix the problem. They tried a few other things which did NOT resolve problem (like swap out condenser). At this time they then told me that the compressor was bad on my A/C - my A/C unit was only about three years old. I called and complained to the manager that I paid for a part that was not needed. The manager told me that the fan motor and compressor work together and this was absolutely needed. That is a LIE and really stupid thing to say. However my A/C now stopped working and since they worked on it and as this was still summer, I was desperate to get it working again. I ended up paying another $1,200 to get the new compressor installed. The actual compressor was under warranty so $1200 was for labor and I suppose the lies. Bottom line is that I would NOT recommend this company to anybody and I am really surprised that Angie’s List has not given them the boot.

Not good. I was hopeful and optimistic based on the great reviews listed here. However, I was very disappointed in the level of service and feel I was ripped off. For starters I had conflicting information from the technicians— that resulted in paying for repairs when that whole unit would have to be fixed in less than a year, I would rather have just gotten a new unit but it seems they were looking to create more business at my expense . It took forever for a part to arrive (TWO weeks and I wasn’t given a discount). The second small AC was not fixed. The staff was courteous at all levels But I had an unpleasant overall experience

Extremely well! Donovan Spears and Jose Gonzales were the two Techs and worked well together and did an exceptional job. I appreciate their attention to detail and willingness to explain every and anything this homeowner asked about the job they were doing. They were very pleasant, informative, helpful, efficient, and professional. The job took about 4-1/2 hours. The service includes a 2-year (every 6-months) monitoring service contract, the installation of a UV (monitoring) Light and an Indoor Air Purification System, which is definitely worth the money and peace of mind. At the end of the job, I could tell the house smelled clean and the air felt fresh and clean. I would recommend this company to my friends and family.

Tech telephoned at end of the time slot and said he would be here in 40 minutes. Very cursory and superficial service. Tech seemed only to be interested in up-selling. Did not go to the compressor, stated didn't need to, I had to repeatedly ask him to check compressor with gauges. Dryer vent cleaning was turning on dryer and just looking if outside vent had condensation coming out of it. Did not siphon a/c drain, used a small canister to blow some air in (approximately 5-10 seconds). Air duct cleaning was Attaching their vac machine to one air vent. Never even went into attic. I called the company and they said the service he did was what they do. UPDATED(12/05/2017): After my review, General Manager called me. Advised that he was sorry that I was unhappy and would refund my payment, asked if there was anything he could do and asked me to amend my review.

Bizarre. The technician called in the middle of his scheduled arrival window to say he still had two jobs ahead of me but would arrive by the end of the business day. I shuffled around my other commitments and told him that would be fine. He never showed and I never heard from him again. I didn't hear anything from their office either.

the service rendered was “duct cleaning” and “system tune up”. When the technician came home he said that the AC needed to be cleaned up as well as the ducts but the price was $800. To my surprise, because I had bought the service already, I asked why such a high cost and after a long story the technician offer me a to “match the price” to a comparable offer in the market and/or a $800 rebate if I bought a new AC with them. I communicated with Joseph (General Mgr.) several times and he offered me to match the price (to $599 see PDF attached) as offered by a competitor but he never did. I proposed them to take an offer QAA has for a new AC on Angies List but they would not apply the $800 rebate as they originally offered. On 10/10/17, I spoke to David in the Installation Department for Quality who was inquiring about the case and what was offered to me and explained the whole story and he said that he would talk to Joseph and look for a solution to this case. I gave them two options: provide me a fair/market quote to replace my current AC applying the $800 as credit towards the total cost or credit me the $201 to match the market cost for the serviced they once provided. After several communications, QAA offered an overpriced quote for a new AC (increasing the price to apply the $800) and conditioning the sale to only cash and to previously removing my reviews. I did not accept the "outrageous" offer. I would not recommend this provider because their business conduct and lack of ethics.

The technician managed to get it running and cooling again. Hopefully I can squeeze a few more years of service out of it now!

Installation was fine - but messy. The system has needed multiple repairs and after they install, it is near impossible to get someone on the phone.,

All fine, fast and fine not even 1/2 hour to end job.
