Everything went well, I am very satisfied. The price was reasonable.

Terrible!!!! On 11/28/2016 the nightmare started with this company. A service tech came to the house for an estimate, he was well mannered and told my wife he could provide the estimate and get the job done in the same day. The service tech hooked a vacuum to one vent with a ripped clear suction hose, did not remove register cover, and informed us that there was mildew in our house, tech brought in a small spray can of a product called kills, sprayed it around the A/C unit closet, installed simple UV light on wrong place. Told my wife all prices indicated in their advertising were wrong, indicated her to sign a blank work order, telling her that he will fill the itemized prices later and put a total of $2,219.00. My wife's credit was rejected, ask me to sign a credit app./ credit was approved for the amount of $ 25,000.00, the total time spent in my home was 1 hr., then picked up everything and left. I called company next day to no avail, called again next day spoke to a young man named Louis (very kind) asked him to have some one contact me, for we had a service order signed by a credit rejected individual with no itemized costs. He said he would have the tech give me a call (which he never did). I called back spoke to the same gentleman again, informed him that I would not pay $2,219.00 for an incomplete job and for unknown individual costs for work that was supposed to be done and was not completed in 1 hour. That only one vent was partially done, the rest were not touched, and no additional work was performed other than a spray to closet and the installation of an inexpensive UV light unit. I told him that the tech never called and I wanted him to remove the light. I told Louis that I wanted to speak to the owner. He informed me that a Mr. Lewis would call me to make the necessary corrections and adjustments, which he never did for weeks, I was told he was on vacation but now he was back. I informed Louis that I was personally going to go to their Miami Beach office which address was listed on the work order and to my surprise when arrived I found myself in front of an UPS STORE, their suite # listed was a box number. So the nightmare continued.. They finally emailed to me an invoice with the itemized costs of work that was not performed, to my surprise it was a different work order number but IT WAS NOT SIGNED BY ANYONE AUTHORIZING THE WORK TO BE PERFORMED imagine my surprise they had prized the UV LIGHT at $ 649.00, which I have seen advertised for $149.00 very similar not to say the same, to the model they installed in my A/C unit. They had charged for pressure cleaning the coil with acid, $499.00, they did not even removed it for cleaning, for I am sure that they can not pressure clean unit inside the house while unit is installed. Little did they know that I was vice president of a HVAC commercial firm and I knew exactly what Quality Air of America of Miami Beach was doing, trying to take me for a ride that I did not accept. As if this was not enough the SAGA continued with the finance company (GreenSky Financial, which has others AKA names, subsidiary of Sun Trust Bank of Georgia) but that is another totally unbelievable story for another day. As of today I have not and will not pay anyone any money until this dispute is settled in a satisfactory manner. In the mean time I have informed all 3 main credit bureaus, the Better Business Bureau, Consumer Report and Angie's List so that they can be aware of the type of contractor they are sheltering under their umbrella. Oh, of coarse my attorney was also notified and we are going to take care of this to prevent other innocent clients to be taken fore a ride by Quality Air of America from Miami Beach, specially the elderly... !! In addition I called another serious and professional A/C contractor to support my theory and removed any doubts that I may have had due to inflation and economical situation of today's market and they proved me RIGHT... they came in and saw and offered me a complete estimate ( that I had to sign for, before the estimate could be performed, now that is professionalism; in order to avoids errors!!) for a total amount of $649.00, confirming that the UV Light was improperly installed. I did not tell this firm I was experienced in the commercial HVAC industry. No need!!

This is the second time they came out because my first review had complaints so they came back out and serviced the drain line with a hydrogen blow out. It was determined that I misunderstood the first representative who wanted to charge $499 to flush the drain, while their ad in the paper clearly stated $25 for a basic drain line cleaning. The $499 charge would have been for a chemical cleaning, which I did not want since our HVAC was only two years old. This review is done to edit the first review where there was a misunderstanding.

They were punctual, clean and worked very hard until late in the evening in order to finish the job.

Did not go at all. Here is the chronology. Appointment was to be between 11 and 1 pm. At 12:30 got a call saying it would be after one. At 2:30 got another call saying he would be at my house at 3:15. At 4:30 we gave up and began eating dinner. At 4:45 the door bell rang, it was the service person. I told him we were eating and we would not use his service. His response was "but I called", true, however if you call and give an arrival time I expect it to be within a close approximation of the real time. Calling by itself is not providing a service.

It didn't. It was definitely not a 24 point inspection nor was there any duct cleaning done.

I’m so glad this company is go above and beyond my expectations. Really did a fantastic job; they were incredibly fast and installed my air conditioner perfectly and they give me a reasonable price for it. I appreciated their meticulous attention to detail, especially their maintenance advice. We couldn't be happier with the service.

It went well, they cleaned the ducts, inspected the unit and provided recommendations on what needed to be updated...

Worker was 2 hours late. When he arrived he told me cleaning the air ducts would be a waste of my money. Rather, I needed to replace the ducts, clean my coil and blower (even though the A/C unit is less than a year old and put 2 iodizing bulbs in the vents. Cost was $7,500.00. This is a far cry from the $30.00 quote I was originally given. Beware of this company. They are strictly a Bait and Switch operation!!!

This is a great company! They sent an expert and friendly technician. He explained things at the most comprehensive manner. I am very impressed with the whole job. In fact, one of my neighbors talked to me and asked about their company. Right now, she is one of the regular clients like me. We’ll continue spreading good things about this company.

The quoted the same ac system that I have in my house however when they came home they installed a completely different system (No name). By the time I realized it was late. I felt cheated. I strongly recommend not to to hire this company they cheat people.

Awesome customer service. They make appointments that they fulfilled. They were supposed to come the next day after my call but by some stroke of luck, they called to inform me that they would be able to set an appointment on the same day. Some electrical problems in my AC caused it to stop from working but the tech guy noticed this immediately and fixed the said problem without delays. I haven’t had a satisfying AC service in years, but Quality Air is surely a wonderful surprise.

This is an outstanding company that knows what they are doing and provides excellent customer service. This is the only ac company I would trust after repairing our old Carrier unit that others gave up on. Highly recommended, because the technician truly scrutinized our Carrier and did a very detailed inspection in order to find the broken areas and recommend a proper fix.

I have dealt with this company for almost 2 years and they have never failed every call. I’ve called, morning, noon or afternoon and they always come out on time and as promised. They are very professional… every single person I’ve dealt with… be it the sales or the technicians. The pricing is fair and customer service is always cheerful and friendly.

We needed 2 air conditioners installed. The installers were outstanding. Not only were they professional (in doing the install) but also put extra effort in delivering a detailed, clean, on time and friendly service. Best of all, the air conditioners fit close to perfect and look and function well!

Local company with great products and service. Any money you would spend on well-known and expensive companies would just be a waste. The installation was done correctly. There were no subcontractors – only uniformed personnel who did the job and with insurance and all. They stood behind their product and service. What a great experience! Thanks a lot!

This company installed 7 ac units in our various properties. Very pain-free service. They were always on time, fast and excellent in tearing out the old units and ducts as well as installing the new ones. All of the employees were polite, professional and responsive. We also have a huge appreciation to the salesmen who came to see us and introduced us to their great selection and giving us a discount.

I always wanted a new ac and didn’t know whom to call. I’m sure this company saved me a lot of trouble with their convenient schedule and great product. Not only would I recommend them, I would request the same guy as technician for myself or for other people.

How hard it is to clean my dryer vent? Perhaps I could save money if I could do it by myself! Wrong… Without knowledge and skills, I realized I can’t do it. So I called the right guys (this company) for the service instead. They were armed with proper knowledge, skills and the right equipment. This company is so professional! We called them to clean our ducts believing that a dead rat got into our ducts. They spent a lot of time cleaning and disinfecting the ducts as well as recommending helpful advice in order to better seal our home. They performed their services correctly! Plus, they are a local business.

I am very pleased with the work these people did this week on our ducts here. It was a great duct cleaning service and compared to other similar service we had before, what they offered was more in-depth cleaning. They took pictures that gave me an insight into what they had to deal with. They did a fine job in cleaning. For me, they are a great duct cleaning company with knowledge and experience when it comes to duct cleaning.
