This is a responsive and very professional organization. All the plumbers that have visited our home have been excellent. Mike, in particular, stands out as exceptional. I will use them again. They make you understand that they are committed to friendly, prompt, and affordable service.

I called, they came, they fixed the leak, and all is well.

I had them several times. The only problem I've had with them is taking forever to get back to me on some enquires once they actually show up they do a good job and I had them now, their actually working doing something for me now and this is either the third or forth time I've had. I don't have called to use too many plumbers and I always expect the worse.

The kitchen faucet had stopped working and the master BR shower was dripping. The personnel from the plumbing company were on time and very professional and thorough in finding the problems and gave us their objective assessment. The kitchen faucet stem and valve were completely clogged with mineral deposit. They took their time to try to remove the deposits but it was beyond repair. They themselves went to the Home Depot to get a new faucet and installed it. They also fixed the master BR shower faucet. Everything is working fine.

Mike was very courteous and professional. He installed the faucet (I had already purchased and had on hand) within just a few minutes. He also provided expert opinion and guidance on two other future plumbing jobs within my home. Scarborough Plumbing had Mike at my door within 24 hours of my initial phone call. I'm sure if I had pushed (I didn't as there was no need), they would've had someone here the same day. They will get my plumbing calls in the future; professionalism combined with genuine care and concern are rare combinations.

As a very capable do it yourselfer I had personally already checked the flushing mechanism, snaked the toilet and had little success at getting the toilet to flush efficiently. Scarborough Plumbing came on a Friday, got the original 30 year old toilet working better on that visit and with my ok came back on Monday again to install a brand new toilet at the same time checking the phlange and a few other things on the setup. The toilet they installed was definitely a step above a normal one being the elongated seat and a bit more elevated. In summary they fixed it with 2 visits at a very reasonable price while being courteous and professional. Having used a few plumbers over the years in my area I highly recommend them.

Although this was not an emergency, they came out the same day I called them. They arrived at 6 PM after a long day and finished the job in an hour. This was the second time I have used their service and I will definitely use them again if I need plumbing help.

I'm not sure they gave us a $99 credit. We had a pipe leak that they couldn't find. Before they could find it, a pipe burst and caused $100,000 in damages to our home. They were slow and unresponsive. I don't think they have enough people working for them. The house was flooded out, so the furniture was moved out, floors were ripped out, cabinets were ripped out, and our kitchen was ripped up. I'm not saying that it was their fault because, the delay in finding the leak this happened. A week after they came out to look at the pipes is, when it happened. They did tell us that they wouldn't be able to find the leak, that we had to hire an independent leak detection firm which, we did. They couldn't find it either. We found them non-responsive, slow, and I wouldn't recommend them. We don't have a basement, so the pipes are in the concrete that the house was built on. They did say that we would probably have additional leaks, so we decided to re-pipe the house. They did it through the attic. They ran pipes from my attic to anyplace that has a water outlet. A washing machine, sink, and shower. They put holes in the outside of my house, they patched up some of them but, not all of them. There's spots on the walls where they patched over but, didn't paint. It wasn't a satisfactory experience. It's a family run business, the guy that owns it is a very nice guy. I think the problem is, he doesn't have enough help. One of the sinks in the bathroom is leaking. The guy that owns the business knew what he was doing, he was very professional but, I think it's the lack of workers at that time.

After the plumber arrived 45 minutes late, everything went great. He was very polite and worked quickly to get the job done.

They came and introduced themselves and were quite professional. They assessed the situation and told me which parts were missing. When the parts arrived, I called and they fixed it without any problem and I ended up having a credit to use for the future!

Everything went fine. The work was perfect. They got the job done quickly, they cleaned up after themselves, and the faucet works like it's supposed to. They treated me fine. They were out right away.

While waiting for the part, one of their employees continued to research the problem with the manufacturer of the water heater. To permanently repair it, they would have to uninstall the unit to access a door on the bottom of the unit. With it already being 7-10 years old, I decided to replace the water heater. Scarborough worked with my hectic work schedule. They were always punctual - even early and waited on me to get home.

Called at 11:00 am to see if someone could check on running toilet and loose faucet assembly. Appointment was set up between 3:00 pm and 5:00pm the same day. Mike arrived at 3:15, assessed the problem and corrected both. He was very professional and left both areas very clean. Entire process took about 45 minutes. Would recommend Scarborough for plumbing service. Very fair and professional.

super nice young man did the work within an hour. He arrived on time, was professional and left all work areas clean. He didn't try to sell me additional services or find other work to do. I will definitely use this company again.

My tenants had three minor plumbing complaints: gurgling pipes, which they thought might indicate septic tank problems, dark film showing up in the dishwasher, and a very slow leak near the pump. There is a disconnected water treatment system in the same lines as the leak and I wanted an opinion about hooking it back up. I decided to try the 'deal' on Angie's List, which supposedly covered callout plus an hour of work. I gave Scarborough my tenants phone number but specified that I wanted to be present when they showed up. My tenants emailed saying the plumber was coming between 3 and 5 pm the next day. I hit a traffic jam and showed up at 3:05. Scarborough's guy was just leaving. I went over his findings with him. He had scoped the septic and found no problems; he had no explanation for the gunk in the dishwasher, and he was uncertain about various things related to the leak, but semi-recommended adding an in-line filter. To be fair, the guy said he was a junior person in the company and had been sent out cause his boss was sick. His instructions apparently didn't include a time specification of 3-5 pm or a specification that the owner was to be present. I got a feeling he wasn't very experienced; probably ok for well defined tasks, but not really up to diagnosis beyond running a camera down a pipe. He said his boss would be back in touch with me with an estimate on the cost for fixing the leak and adding an inline filter, and admitted that I'd paid for an hour and he spent much less than that. I have received no call back from his boss. I am not inclined to call back and have Scarborough work on the leak. I'm not convinced they know a lot more about the job than I do (I have quite a bit of experience with agricultural irrigation systems, including leaks and inline filters) and I get a sense that they could run up a pretty big bill pretty fast.

I'm not sure how or what could have been done differently when it came to routing the plumbing but I was left with a large area of pipe showing that was not flush within the wall and therefore could not put wall board over the pipes to hide them. This required some creative effort on my part to cover them.

I called them in the morning and they were there that same afternoon. They cleared the blockage quickly and worked until the job was done. Everyone from the plumbers to the office staff were friendly and no nonsense. Very reasonable price for the work they did. I would use them again and would recommend them to friends.
