Martin's Family Appliance

Description of Work: Refrigerator ice machine stopped operating. Martin's family Appliance not only responded immediately, they correctly diagnosed the problem as a valve, not ice-maker--as other companies thought-- and saved me at least $100. Richard, from Martin was very polite and knowledgeable. Even though he had to make two trips (had to order the valve) I was only charged for one visit. Excellent service at reasonable cost.

Description of Work: Our Maytag washer stopped after 9 years. My husband took it apart and couldn't determine what was the matter. We called Martin Family repair and someone came out that day. He said we needed a new transmission and it would be around $300. We decided to buy a new washer. We went into Martin Family store on N. Main st and Tom Sr. took care of us. He showed us a Speed Queen that is american made and has a stainless tub. We discovered Maytag isn't owned by Maytag anymore and that is why my first Maytag lasted 26 years and the second 9. We decided to buy the Speed Queen and they deducted the service call from this. We couldn't have been happier. They delivered the same day, hauled it in and connected it.

Description of Work: When my detested LG dishwasher dies for the millionth time and was no longer under the extended warranty, I went to Martin's Family Appliance (do not mistake them for a similar appliance store in West Gainesville) to look at dishwashers. Their sales guys spent a lot of time discussing the various brands and their reliability and value. Once I had an idea of what I wanted (Frigidaire top of the line), they found a newly discontinued model for me that saved me money, while also having every bell or whistle that I wanted. They did the installation. The sales, installation was done very professionally and I could not be more satisfied.
