I had a very slowly draining shower. I tried to fix the problem with Drain-O and baking soda/vinegar, but they were of no help. There was a near rock-hard buildup of soap scum deep in in the drain. I called JW Plumbing in the late afternoon about the clogged shower drain. They couldn't get to me that day, but they would the next morning. They gave me a two-hour time window to expect the plumber. The next morning, the plumber, BJ, called me and then showed up at the early end of the time window. He was very friendly and provided great descriptions of what he was doing. Within minutes, he used his drain gizmo to core out and break up the obstruction. He checked the sewer clean out and made sure everything was flowing fine. He gave me some excellent advice for any future drain problems. I had a few other plumbing issues I asked him about (for another visit), and he was very informative. He was done and left within two minutes of his arrival.

They showed up on time, evaluated the problem, and repaired it well. He explained the problem, described the difference between the old and new designs, and fixed a problem with the water adjustment handle we didn't know we had. He was courteous, cleaned up before he left, and professional in his attitude and skill.

Jimmy is THE BEST!. My parents live in Gainesville and have an older home and have had a couple of different big name plumbers in and the problems stayed the same. Jimmy was recommended and we (they) have never regretted the change. He is professional, polite, on time and honest. He even helped my mother find new drain covers for her brick terraces, that she had previously been told were out of date and that she needed a whole new system. He went on line and never quit looking until he found the two she needed. Her terraces have been beautiful ever since.

They were very professional and the estimate was the true cost. They advised me of the various brands of toilets available and how quickly they could be ordered and installed. They were very careful with removal and installation. There was a slight problem with the caulking on one of the toilets and when I reported it the next day, someone arrived within 24 hours to make the necessary repairs. I was very pleased with their work and would recommend them.

I had finally had enough with the leaking showers. I called J W Freeman plumbing and got James. I told him the problem. he was on a job site at the moment, but said he would call me in the afternoon (about 4 hrs). which worked for me. then in less than 30 minutes he called back and said the job he was waiting on parts for other job and could come look at my problem. he came over and fixed all the showers right then. he had all the parts on his truck. Now that's service. he was professional and courteous. he gave me estimate that was very close to ending price. best part of this whole thing is he was on time and did the work without having to come and go several times. i will use him again for sure.

Woke up to find two inches of water flooding my bathroom floors. (they share a wall) A friend had recently recommended JW Freeman Plumbing. Called JW Freeman Plumbing at 9:16 am. Said they would be able to come out that afternoon. -Which was fine - whatever was causing the flooding had stopped, so afternoon worked for me. He called back at 10:45, and was able to come on out at that time. Pleasant and professional. Tested the drain lines, which were clear. Most likely cause was a running toilet that filled the septic tank. (we've had a lot of rain recently, so drain field may be saturated) Did some test flushing to see that yes, it was still full, as it started backing up again after a few flushes. Replaced the toilet guts on both to make sure they seal, and don't lead to another overflow. (will have to have septic company out for the rest) Noted that one toilet was not well seated, and water was leaking from the base when it backed up. As that is not in a bathroom used often, said he could fix it now or wait for my bathroom remodel. That was the second reason to have him out, as I was already planning a bathroom remodel before the flood. So after dealing with the first issue, we then discussed bathroom remodel. He was able to write up a detailed quote for me within 20 minutes or less. As other contractors have taken weeks to get a quote back to me, I appreciate the efficiency. Knowledgeable, efficient, professional, gave options, explained well... I would call again.

They did a very good job. They were punctual and I think their fees were reasonable.

He is a one man operation, very professional, very fast, efficient and code compliant. He does not cut corners and always does high quality work. And you will pay for it.

My situation started with a call from the utility company telling me that I had used up 92,000 gals of water while I was gone to Israel and not even in the house. I decided to call J.W. Freeman based upon his Angie's list recommendation. The first guy came out the afternoon I called and, unfortunately, wasn't able to diagnose the leak with the tools he had. He scheduled a leak detection guy to come out, but didn't charge me a thing for the initial visit. In between the first guy and the leak detection guy, my slab leak turned in to an in-house flooding which made it impossible for the leak detection guy to figure out precisely where the leak was - fortunately, he didn't charge me anything either. Finally, on Monday morning I got a call back from the owner himself who asked if he could send a guy over to help. He spent nearly the entire day troubleshooting the source of the leak and closing that off. At the end of the day I at least had an operating bathroom, kitchen, and laundry room. He gave me a reasonable quote for fixing the other bathroom and we agreed to wait until I could contact my insurance company to see if the repair would be covered. It won't, so I'm going to save up the money myself - but I will definitely be calling J.W. Freeman again to finish up the job.

I contacted the company through their website late Sunday Evening and got a response Monday morning. The plumber showed up to do the work, showed me why we had the plumbing problem. He fixed the problem and installed new plumbing fixtures for me. He was very polite and courteous.

I had been collecting plumbing tasks and chose this company from Angie's List. I called and asked about the the water heater and installation of a filtration system I had already purchased. Jimmy offered to come by that afternoon. He called when he was on his way and was actually early! He answered all of our questions and gave us what we felt was a reasonable quote. We scheduled the work for the next day! Once again, we received a call that they were on their way and they were even a little earlier than estimated. My 5 year old son enjoyed watching them work. And they were very patient with him, even giving him small tasks like breaking up roots. He now tells everyone that he wants to be a plumber when he grows up. Also, I loved that I was just able to give him the water filter still in the box and he took care of everything. It had to soak for 24-48 hours so he set it up to do so, explained everything to me, and came back later to finish. We asked him about changing out a faucet and toilet parts and he also did those. Everything was completed as promised and the prices were reasonable. I found him to be very competent, friendly, and honest and I enjoyed that he communicated very well throughout the project. We will definitely use him again!

He was on time and performed the job quickly. He also told us where we can get the replacement part if it ever happened again. My husband tried to fix it before we called the plumber but couldn't find the replacement part in Lowe's or Home Depot. He was very professional and was done in less than 30 minutes!

James has done several jobs for me all with great results. There was one ongoing problem that two other highly ranked plumbers completely flubbed. James fixed it in short order. Always punctual and courteous. I highly recommend.

I had originally booked a time with the people Home Depot deal with. Their name is Delta Mechanical, but it was hard to find this out as their caller ID gave no info and neither did the person on the other end of the line. After they demanded credit card payment over the phone (before they would come) I told them to get lost and searched Angies List. I liked the reviews for JW Freeman and chose this company. I am glad I did. I would have given them straight A's except for a small mistake by the assistant who did not open the water valve to the dishwasher causing my machine to run hot without water, but it seems there was no lasting damage. I was impressed by the Jimmy and his personalism and desire to be of service. I would heartily recommend this company to other people without hesitation...

They were efficient and did what I expected. They came when they said that they would come. I was happy. I thought that their price was in the middle range. It was neither high nor low. They were very professional.
