Two of our low-wattage light fixtures no longer worked. After trying three repair services, the electricians at Goodson were able to identify the problem, help us find replacement parts, and put the lamps back together. We did not have to find replacement fixtures, but enjoy use of the ones we had so carefully chosen 8 years ago.

Sent an unprepared, under-experienced, under-skilled apprentice to install 3 ceiling fans, side by side needing connecting wiring with exterior wire molding. Approximately 7 hours later and an invoice for $670, I was shocked. When I called and asked the owner for an explanation, I received nothing in return. Beware of this provider!!!

Goodson was very punctual and the electrician was incredibly nice. He laid the network cable (he installed CAT6 instead of CAT5 that was asked for, without increasing the price), and installed a chandelier. When he did the estimate, he suggested we put the chandelier together ourselves to save money, so all he has to do is hang the chandelier. We had another company estimate over $800 for the same work that Goodson did for $355. Would highly recommend.

Electrician was punctual and went too work right away. He took down old lights and did an excellent job installing all light fixtures. Very pleased with time it took and quality of work.

Everything went pretty smoothly, except for a little trouble with the inspector over something really minor. But, Daniel Goodson (the owner) stayed very late and fixed the problem. He made sure we passed the second (same day) inspection, and were able to turn the power back on, just as it was getting dark. I was really impressed by his dedication. It would have been a huge pain for both of us to fix the problem another day. He made it happen and I appreciated it. Also, because my house is old and weird, he had to do some unanticipated work in the attic, and I felt bad for that. But, he did it to get the job done!

Job was done in the promised time and price despite several unexpected obstacles. Mr. Goodson and crew troubleshot a few small things that weren't exactly in the original estimate at no extra charge.

He did not charge me for the time spent getting more balasts. He worked quickly and did a good job. I am happy with his work and that my lights all work.

Professional and technically proficient. Daniel Goodson and two assistants worked for two days to complete the exterior electrical work (in conjunction with city utility). Work was done promptly and they took the time to double check their work, cleaned up their mess and answered my questions. Vendor could not attend initial appointment due to unforeseen employee injury. Company called promptly to cancel and rescheduled for next day. Showed up promptly and fixed breaker as requested as well as other breakers they saw as done incorrectly. Friendly, professional response. Confirmed rescheduled appointment via e-mail. Pool pump works very well now ..no more buzzing and tripping breaker. definitiely will use in the future for electrical concerns.

Two electricians came to my home on time and worked for a couple of hours trying to find out what happened that caused a circuit to go bad. While they were not able to figure it out on the first visit since these things can be tricky, they did solve some unrelated issues for me like fixing a two-pole switch that had never worked right. They did narrow it down to a certain area, we had recently put up new siding and they suspected a nail hit a wire somewhere, and they told me their employer would have to come out here to solve the issue. A few days later the owner of the company came to my house, spent some time in the attic and discovered exactly what was wrong and fixed it. Also installed some fixtures for me while he was here. He was fair, polite, honest, and got the job done at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend this company.

Mr. Goodson's office staff were really helpful and friendly. Goodson's expertise and assistance were very much needed and welcome. I called three electricians prior and could not get one to answer the phone or show up. Part of our house had a pre-existing issue that interfered and Goodson sent the guys out to correct it at no cost. I've already recommended this company to family members and will definitely call Goodson's for future electrical work when needed

They did the work they said they would do and they did it on our time schedule. The response was good and they called me right then.

I called and left messages on voicemail, requesting a response, but never received a return call.

From the beginning they responded very quickly to my inquiry, and the owner came personally to inspect and ask me exactly what I wanted done. After listening to my requests we agreed that they would email me a written estimate on the following Monday. They did exactly that, I chose to go ahead with all but one of the items. We then agreed to a day and time for the work to be performed, they were about an hour late, but kept me informed of the traffic issues they had and showed up exactly at the revised time. The work performed was excellent and professional, and was done pretty quick. I was not thrilled at the $60 trip charge, but I guess we are a little out of the way. I would, and probably will, use them again, and highly recommend them. Thank you

Called Goodson electric to upgrade a multitude of outlets in our old house. Glenda was a pleasure to work with; enjoyable, responsive and informative. She was able to schedule my estimate immediately and get the ball moving on my job. When the original estimate was too high for our budget, they were able to go through the estimate line-by-line and help me decide what we can wait on. Once we agreed on a price and time, the Goodson electrician team came out right on time. Matt and Chad (I believe) were the two technicians and did an excellent job. They let us know everything they were doing and got it done fast. I was very impressed with the overall experience. It has been a couple of weeks since the update and everything is still working great.

Chad & Matt were very helpful today. They investigated each of my electrical issues and fixed them, quickly and professionally. They installed a new electric eye for my post light, and a new GFI receptacle for my electric gate. They gave me a recommendation that my gate battery (marine) probably needed replacement, too, but reassured me that it was getting all the power it was supposed to be getting from the pole. Now that they've checked everything out, if my gate continues to operate slowly, I feel comfortable knowing what to do next. I was very impressed with their expertise and will call on them again if another power problem arises.

I needed several jobs done and they accommodated me into a very busy time slot. The technicians called to tell me they were running late which I appreciated. They were courteous and worked at a good pace. They were careful not to track dirt into the house. They wanted a satisfied customer and they got one. I will use them again.

They were early and jumped right in and did the job. Cleaned up and were gone quickly. The price was fair. I'll use them again.
