Description of Work: Completely treated our house even termites. We know the previous pest control system the previous owners used was not working.

Description of Work: I recently moved in to a home that already had a roach problem. When I originally called Florida Pest Control and explained the situation Gary sounded as though he was genuinely concerned about the problem and set an appointment for one of their guys to meet with me the next day. He also told me it may take a couple treatments to get it under control depending on just how severe the infestation is, but that there would not be additional cost for repeat visits. Joe came, we talked for a bit about what I was experiencing before he did his walk through. He was very thorough checking for signs of pests and telling me other things I could do to help reduce and prevent future problems. While he was explaining the options of service, single quarterly vs annual, he also assured me if I have any issues after they treat not to hesitate in calling them back out. Also, when you sign up for an annual contract you do actually save money, who doesn't like to save money right? I signed up for both interior service and the lawn. Joe called in to the office to set the appointment for the interior before he left, which was for about a week later. I was told the lawn treatment could be done before the interior since no one has to be here for them to do that. The interior was done on the 20th, a very nice man (I'm sorry I don't remember his name at the moment) came, also did a complete walk through before doing the treatment. He made sure to put a "good covering" in the areas of most concern and also where bugs would be most likely to enter as well as a "barrier" along the outside of the house. At this time the lawn treatment had not been done, I waited a few more days before calling. I called them on the 24th and spoke to Misty, explained my conversation with Joe and that I haven't seen any sign of the lawn treatment having been done. It turns out that there was some mix up somewhere along the line and that there had not been an appointment set for the lawn service. She was very apologetic, called Joe, confirmed the contract I had signed and I got a call back from Gary. Gary was very apologetic about the situation and added me to the schedule for the very next day. I have already told a couple people I work with about my experience with Florida Pest Control and highly recommend them! Yes there was a little mix up but they took care of it straight away and that is when level of service really shows.

Description of Work: I have used FPC for decades- basically for termite inspection/insurance. They were always good about reminding and came when promised and have been pleasant and appropriate. They may have treated one isolated roach problem well (long ago,not sure if it was their company.) Unfortunately when it came to something more than the annual termite inspection I was disappointed. I told the technician that I heard animals in the roof and wondered if they were squirrels. He said no evidence of squirrels and that the noises I heard were probably on the roof. (I was in denial that they could be rats- which when I investigated myself found them to be.) I would have hoped that the technician might have considered rats as well. When I found out they were rats I called FPC twice and spoke to two people each time. They said someone would get back to me. I did not get a response. I emailed them about the above and again no response. Pretty disappointing and does not give me trust that if there were a termite problem that I could count on them.

Description of Work: We've used Florida Pest Control for years, possibly from the 1960s, certainly in our present home since 1987. We use them for our home. We use another firm for termite protection, but probably will consider using FPC for both. They've never disappointed us.
